The only thing remotely palatable on that list is Grey Goose, and you could have spent $20 on a handle (that's a half gallon for the laymen) of Tito's Handmade Vodka instead of $28 for a 750. The rest of that is just plain silly. Why don't you just go buy a Zima, toots?

i'm 17 years old and i live in maine

i dont have many options

I don't get drunk much anymore, but I enjoy a cup of wine or two a couple times a week. This week I've got some Meridian Pinot Noir from 2003 (from the central coast of CA).

tastes fucking amazing for a $10.99 bottle of wine...no weird aftertaste, no chunky phosphates or deposits in the bottle, none of the crap you would normally associate with cheap wine. It's very smooth and has a complex, but not-too-dry taste. I think it might be perfect!

I cant believe it's been since August since this thread was bumped. I'm drinking Canadian Club and Diet Pepsi. The drink of champions.

In my bored and lonley weekend of being stuck at the folk's place with nary a visit from my lady I've been going through liquor like a fiend. Since Thursday night I've had 7 bottles of wine and 15 or 16 bottles of fancy beer (that come in 1.6 pint clay jars) and a few bottles of Grain Belt Premium as my standby.
Tonight will feature at least one bottle of Yellow Tail's Cab/Shiraz which goes great with pork I've found, a bottle of Rogue's 2006 Imperial Stout, a bottle of Barley Wine that I brewed about 6 years ago with my dad (who will be drinking his about 8,000 miles away) and I think I'll finish it all off with a couple of White Russians down at the tavern since I'm out of Merry's.

Not drinking right now, but tomorrow I'll be enjoying some homemade Irish Creme (the mix is homemade, not the liquor)

I think you keep drinking that much your folks might start to think there is a problem.

Yellow Tail is pretty reliable stuff, but don't ruin the Imperial Stout by mixing that. Set aside an hour and enjoy the stout first. Please, think of the children.

Well I'm two glasses into the YT at the moment. I think I'll finish a third and then walk the dog (the reason that I'm platooned here at the folk's place is to take care of the dog). Have some fresh cut veggies or something to cleanse the pallette and then head for the beer. I've got a Hungarian sweet red sitting around here somewhere too. I think I might hold off and bring that over to my girl's place tomorrow to sip on while we exchange gifts and before I have to go pick up the folk's from the airport.

Don't wait until the sun goes down, enjoy it with the perspective of a cloudy mind...

Nah, we're all like this.

shit, my sister didn't make the Irish Creme this year.

now i'm drinking Mike's Hard Berry, since that's what was in the fridge. I swear! Don't ban me! please! >_
I was drinking some champagne and I thought.... "Damn. I'm hOTT"
I hope you pronounced it as "Sham-Pag-Ney" and drank it straight out the bottle like you're suppose to.

Twas quite the christmas boozing period. Now time to settle down and get back on track with the daily work routine.

Well, I now have 4 bottles of Jameson (2 standard, 2 12-year). I need to drop hints that I'm more of a wine snob through 2007, or else have a whiskey party. Most likely the former.

Over the past few days, it's been a few cans of Bud, one can of Coors Light (I'm going to the confessional tomorrow for that), one bottle of Newcastle, 7 pints of High Life, 2 pints of Bass, 2 bottles of Guinness, some 1991 Cabernet, a 2003 merlot, multiple glasses of Jameson, a 2005 pinot noir, a 2004 pinot noir, a 2003 chardonnay (yech!), and the greatest zinfandel on the motherfucking planet (Frank Family 2004).

This was Sunday and Monday night, and fully discounts Friday, Saturday, and last Tuesday. But, yesterday was my birthday, so I was drinking a bit more than usual.

Same here. I'm drinking grape propel right now. But plan on drinking some bud later if I play condemned.

Well I'm trapped at home thanks to the 10+ inches of snow and the fact that my car is at the garage being inspected so I'm enjoying some Sam Adams White Ale to be followed shortly by Canadian Club Whisky and diet cola.

Sam Adam's Summer Mix 12 Pack. I had 1 of each and a friend of mine had one of each, plus one from the 12 pack we had left over .

"Sam Adam's -- Brewer * Patriot"
I heard that's good.

Ah, we are SOOOO blessed in SoCal to have Stone Brewery. Easily some of the best libations on planet earth, they make! YUM!

I'm still alcohol free in 2007! New Year's Eve was the last time I had anything to drink... it's going to be very very tough to keep this up once football season starts though. I'm trying to see if I can go a whole year without drinking. I feel great but I do miss it.
I'm drinking a protein shake. Since this is an alcohol topic, I wonder if one of these would be good if you mixed some baileys in it?
Depends on the shake flavor. If we're talking a fruit smoothy style protein shake, you can't go wrong with Rum, particularly the foofy flavored ones like Malibu. Though the alcohol content is down.

If we're talking a choco/vanilla type, then you should definitely stick with a coffee type liquer like Baileys or Kahlua. MMMM, Kahlua Choco Protein shake:drool:

wow, props on that. but you have to treat yourself to beer on the weekends during football season. it's not the same w/out a brew!

I hardly get drunk any more....even after I quit weed years ago, I still drank a decent amount. the thought of getting drunk on beer makes me feel like my stomach is going to burst :)

that said, I do like to keep a bottle of some $10 pinot noir around in case I'm still hyper from the day...a cup of which I'm drinking now. yay!

im drinkin some Saranac right now....a good decent priced lager you guys should give it a try. my plans for this crazy wednesday night.....watch the phillies beat the marlins hopefully then head out to the bar for a little.

For the last seven or eight months, 90% of my alcohol intake has been Summit EPA. I usually go through a six-pack a week, plus two to five pints at happy hour.

I don't drink much hard alcohol anymore, but when I do it's usually straight Jager.

I've finally tried Fat Tire a couple times in the last few weeks, and have been disappointed both times (the 20-some ounce bottle is making its way around, and I had it on tap in Chicago last week). I did have an Italian beer that I was certain would taste like gym socks, but I found it surprisingly delicious.
EDIT: It was Peroni. It was on tap at the same bar serving Fat Tire, and I'd never heard of it before. Smelled like a bad white wine, had a mild taste with what I thought to be hints of green apple, and was very crisp. I can't think of any beer to compare it to, but it was refreshing.

There's a microbrewery about a mile from my apartment, and while most of their selection is below average, they do have the best IPA I've ever had in my life. The last time I was there they had a stout brewed with Peace coffee, and that was fairly excellent, as well.

I drink a lot more wine and a lot less beer when it gets colder outside, but I can't even remember the last bottle I've had. I usually stick with shiraz/syrah.
