It's the randomness that makes it so funny. Only listening to the first 20 seconds though. If you listen to the PS Nation Podcast they also have a Mexican birthday song they always play when someone says birthday. So I'm giving YOU your own birthday song of COMPLAINING.

Actually your way off. I don't care about lack of ps2 support. If people want to play ps2 games bad enough they will buy a ps2. I just wanted to say that to you since I know you the love the wii. I wanted to mention it during that Mario thread,but I felt it was the wrong place. :lol:

I have a 60 gig as well actually. Got it with the first PS3 Ratchet. I think less "play with your wii wii", "360 is shit" posts would make this site more manageable to read without the juvenile immaturity, do you agree somewhat?

I certainly agree. It's funny that many times if you criticize something Sony does, you're automatically an 'Xbot' or you 'love M$'(and they almost always use that cash symbol in place of the S in MS, as if Sony isn't concerned about money, money, money).

I figured you was obsessed over the Wii as much as Mana is over Sony. I guess I was wrong. I use to love Nintendo up until the gamecube days. I thought it was alright,but nothing special. Then Wii came out, and I might like 6 games on it If that. I'm more of a PS3/360 person. I think the whole fanboy thing gets out of control at times. I like PS3 better than 360. I would like them about the same If I didn't have so many 360's to die on me. That's the only negative I can think about it. Far as Wii goes its just lack of games I'm interested in. Only thing I play on it is Mario games/light gun shooters. Although I really like the Mario games I must admit.

I only peek in this thread when an update is near... could we PLEASE keep it limited to discussion about the update? No one who comes in here looking for info on 3.10 is hoping or wanting to see an argument over other consoles, especially one that looks like it's being articulated (and I use that word loosely) by 6th-graders.

Again, I gotta say that this is funny. It's 'bitching' when it's talking about Sony and how their updates are full of shit that no one I know will actually use and that we should be allowed to pick and choose what we DL outside of the bug fixes/patches. Yet I'm sure if I said 'Xbox 360 RROD hurr hurrr hurrr' everyone would be quick to agree, right?

Oh and I just checked that PC download FW site on Sony's site and it's funny since they don't even list 3.0 or 3.01 AT ALL. :lol:

We're not talking something silly like playing HD-DVDs, and saying "lol it doesn't do everything after all!". We're talking about a feature that the former PS3s had but was dropped. This is all.

But I am the most vocal, even on the PS Blog page. There's tons of pages of 'zomg this is the bestest update EVAR' intersparsed with the 1-3 that're like mine but more polite.

About PS2 support, there was that leaked memo from Sega about Ps2 bc and dreamcast games on PSN.

I'm not holding my breath, but I can still have that glimmer of hope. Won't be too disappointed if it never happens, but I'm staying optimistic.

Don't complain about firmware updates, unless you've bricked your system, or it breakes some games )
(like 3.0 did for Uncharted).

You think I think Sony does no wrong? They've been spiting me for 15 years with their shitty Dpad which does very little for fighting games. Their analogue stick broke on me after playing Fight Night R3 for about a year. I can go on and on as no I don't think Sony is god, but they're better then Microsoft in the fact that they're actually reliable.

And vote with your wallet? Are you sure companies would vie for it since you say five dollars is all you'll pay for Downloadable games? I wouldn't fight for that unless it was a really low budget game.

Well, considering that they're thinking of making PS2 games(which many of us already have and don't wanna pay extra to play again)downloadable, that's about all it's worth per game for me to pay to play shit I already own.

And again, I hate to rehash the past, but Sony wasn't all that reliable last gen. Or has everyone forgotten how they were sued into providing repairs for faulty PS2's?

I don't know If I was just lucky or what,but I had a ps2 ever since launch, and never had a issue with it.

I had multiple PS2s and I never had issues with any of them either, except for the one I bought used for $10(supposed DRE, but was fine). But a couple buddies had PS2's that scratched discs(like some of the RROD 360's do now) and other issues besides the DRE.

Nice. The friends list is transparent again with the icons being boxed in whatever color you choose. Much better than before.

I don't know if it was like this before, but the names of the albums in my games tab are invisible by default unless I highlight them.

I guess I'm not going that route. It says 3.01. I wonder when it updates, and has the newest one. I guess the only option right now is to get it via ps3.
