Nobody home here. The trolls and the juvenile drama chased me away.

I thought CAG was a supportive community, but I was wrong, apparently.

You're free to let someone else man the thread now; I understand J7 has a lot of free time on his hands and has been trying to circumvent the thread from me for a few months.

I just don't have the patience for the children anymore.

Hey sorry if this has been asked already but does anyone know if you can trade in several copies of the same game? I've heard this is frowned upon at BB and GS.

Edit: Sorry, this belongs in the Amazon trade thread.
 
Depending on the game, most are still $10 even if they do not come with mics. The great thing is though, until the 6th, TRU has a promotion where you get $5 off when you buy two PS2 games that are $19.99 or less. That means you'll really either spend $15 total for two Singstars, or if a Singstar game is $5, you'll get two for $10 total. The promo also works when you buy 1 PS3 Singstar and 1 PS2 Singstar, although I'm not sure why.

Maybes its 5 dollars off when you buy any 9.99 and below?

Incorrect. The only :ps2: Singstar game that is marked $10 and not in a mic bundle is Singstar Pop V2. ALL of the other game only :ps2: Singstar games are $5.
 
Does the 3 for 10 on GBA stack with the 5 dollars off for two games? When I bought two GBA games (one was one I really wanted) it showed the promo, but didn't take off of course because I didn't have a third GBA game.

It doesn't stack, if you buy 3 GBA games it'll give you the (5 dollars off for two games) deal and the 3rd game won't be a part of any promo.

Sounds like close to $20 to me. Check Wal-mart ($19.95) and Sears (19.97, maybe lower this month) for the bundles. This game is kinda heavy so shipping will be more than $3.
 
I got lucky at the Tuscaloosa, AL TRU today and nabbed their last Buzz! for PS3 with the controllers! Cool.

I know this may have been asked before but I just wanted to double check before I open any of these items that I got from the clearance sale: I have a backwards compatible PS3. Are prior PS2 Buzz! games BC with the PS3 buzzers? Or do you have to use the wired buzzers that came with the bundle packs for the PS2 games? Do they even hook into the PS3 if you have to go that route?

Same question for the Singstar games. They had two PS3 bundles but also had a PS2 bundle. Can you use that PS2 game with the mics for the PS3?

I got the Buzz! Quiz TV PS3 bundle, Buzz! Hollywood Quiz PS2 bundle, Buzz! Jr. Jungle Party PS2 bundle, Buzz! Jr. Robo Jam PS2 bundle, Singstar Vol. 1 & 2 PS3 bundles, and Singstar 90's PS2 bundle...all for $48.94. Unbelievable!

Here are your answers:

1) Yes, PS3 Buzzers work on PS2 Buzz games:

2) Yes, the PS2 Buzzers work with PS2 and PS3 Buzz games and connect to the PS3 just fine.

... keep in mind that 8 people can play Buzz local multiplayer at a time, so you may want to keep 2 sets of Buzzers. This is why I bought a second Buzz! Quiz TV set.

3) Yes, the PS3 Singstar mics work on the PS2 Singstar games ... they are the same mics for both PS3 and PS2 bundles:

I picked up a little Chun Li figure for $0.01. Was this some kind of promo when SF4 came out? Did they have more than just her?
