BTW, I've been engaged in an MST3K Marathon for the past couple of weeks. I'm on season 3 right now...though...I did skip season 1...
Nice. And yeah I'm a hardcore MST3k fan and even I wouldn't brave some of those earlier episodes. At least not until TV's Frank got in there / Servo gets a bubble head.

Looks like I didn't miss much. To those interested, Wanderlei Silva's father died today though, so that's a disappointment. I think I just saw him on some video about Wanderlei's family.

Yeah, the guy who did Tom Servo's voice in season one was horrible.

Yeah that was Josh Weinstein. He played Dr Erhardt and did Servo's voice until mid 2nd to 3rd season or so and then Kevin Murphy took over Servo for the duration of the show.

Yeah bummer for Silva. In other mma news Ken Shamrock and Mendes have to be happy about the timing of the news of their horrible deeds .. got almost completely buried by the UFC 151 cancellation nonsense.

Weird. Before starting this marathon, I had no clue that dude even existed. I knew of everyone except him. I'm glad I didn't have to endure him when I was a kid, as it may have caused me to give up on the show before it got good.

That was the sort of chubby geeky looking guy, right?
I remember watching them on Ha! or Comedy Channel or whatever Comedy Central used to be called before Comedy Central.

Saw them live once back in 1995 (before the feature film came out, they were doing college tours/promos).

The days of watchhing the episodes uninterupted with the volume turned up to hear all the wise-cracks are long gone, however.

Wife with probable strep throat. 4 year old with fever and grabbing her throat.
Baby waking up this morning with a fever a vomiting.

I'm not sick yet!
Looks like I'll get the day off today! (And then probably another day next week once I get infected)

It's an OUTBREAK!!!!

Patient zero is probably me. I carry strep throat but only come down with it once every few years. (Used to be every year as a kid).

Turns out the 4 year old is fine. Somehow magically on the drive to the doctor her fever vanishes and her throat stops hurting. Awaiting word on the wife's throat culture results, and the baby seems to have cooled down after a small dose of infant tylenol.

It always seems as soon as I call in sick people get better by the end of the day. I was going to sit in the Chemistry dept and read my book most of the shift.

gah...two cups of really strong coffee and I still want to go back to bed. I wish I didn't have to damn near OD on caffeine to get some effect from it
You obviously need to move on to meth.
I much prefer Adderall. I need to get back to a shrink to be put back on it...along with a few other meds anyhow

Tho combining a Sobe No Fear with an orange 5 Hour Energy and a Throwback Mtn Dew is a sure fire way to get wired. I was drinking Red Bulls and other energy drinks before they became popular...probably why I have such a high tolerance to caffeine.
Speaking of meth, Breaking Bad might be one of the greatest shows of all time.
Did you see the last episode? That last scene was perfection.
Absolutely. Broke my heart though. :(
Yeah. I'm really sad to see him go. After all they've shown about how much he cared for his granddaughter, it was hard seeing the look on his face when the cops were moving in on the park and he realized he had to leave her behind.

He was "that guy." Every great show has a "that guy." The only character on a show that has a clue what the fuck is going on. They usually meet the same fate.

No joke, does anyone know of, or make, Sackboys from LBP? I'm looking into a real Sackboy to own...I've seen a lot that look just he should that are homemade, so I'm fine with that too.

I really enjoyed the first LBP (didnt finish it). The second one, I couldn't even get past the first world. Felt way too frustrating and the grappling hook reminded me of the worst parts of the first game.

Somebody throw up The Mana Knight PS Signal!

Thinking about selling my FYF ticket for Saturday. Not motivated enough to go for two days.

On the off chance one of the few California OTTers wants it, let me know.

Morning, OTT.

So the new talents in World of Warcraft take some getting used to. I find playing my Prot Warrior very cumbersome at this time. In theory, I like the changes. It's just the implementation right now that feels clunky. I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Sticks and Stones.

Besides, I'm shielded by a Level 85 Pally Bubble, which also reduces my threat!

I think I may restart my WoW sub when the new expansion comes out. I want to play as a Pandaren Monk, even though that's what everyone is gonna play.

And they'll probably be overpowered...so it's a great time to get in! PM me if you want me to shoot you a refer-a-friend/Scroll of Resurrection invite.
Going for my first professional massage on Tuesday. It's just a chair one though. Anyone uppins get a professional massage before?
No happy endings for you.

We used to have a company come by every other Friday and offer services. Then it stopped.

The End.

My buddy has gone a few times because his cousins wife manages one. He said that you need to be super hydrated and you can't drink any caffeine after.

I have had deep tissue massage performed on my neck and shoulder by a licensed professional after it tensed up badly and I lost some motion. Quite easily the best/worst pain I have ever experienced.
