Cool! Any game that reminds me of diablo is normally pretty good. Hack and slash RPGs are my new favorite, althrough I prefer Tales of Symphonia and Star Ocean to Diablo but only by a little bit.

KH:COM isn't exactly a standard card battle, you still move and attack just like the regular one, it's all real time but your attacks and their strengths are limited by the cards you use, it's an interesting mix and I'll admit it's not for everyone but it's got some neat elements. I do hope that someday you find the inspirtation to try out KH, it really is a well made game, even if you don't like the story the combat system was very well set up.

And I really use to enjoy magic back when I was younger, I've tried playing more recently but these newer cards seem to slaughter all my oldschool decks.
 
really?? type 1 slaughters all, imo. i don't like the newest block, although the one before it was fun.

It really does remind one of diablo, lol, i showed it to my bro-in-law and he used the phrase, "It's like diablo!" about three times. He bought a psp yesterday. =P

type 1? Terms I don't know so well? Are you talking about MTG, I mainly played in revised, legends, dark, Fallen Empire and Ice Age with some newer cards from I think the Urza's set and even those are like 4 years old.:lol: Tempest just really seemed pointless to me and that's where I basically stoped playing. Some of these new cards are crazy, a friend of mine summoned some creature that had his life points in life which was like 18 then he cast trample on it and I was dead in 2 turns, I remember back when 10/10 was the highest and keeping a Leviathan alive was near impossilbe, although you could get a very high level nightmare with enough land in your deck....Now I feel like a magic geek again :oops:

:lol: Well I guess Untold Legends is Diablo like, I'll have to either hunt down someone with a psp or eventually swallow the price tag to play it, oddly I haven't seen a PSP demo system set up in any local store.
 
Yeah so I saw her again tonight. I entertained myself by fucking with her head. I made her do shit just for a laugh... I'm gonna push her so far... she's either gonna hate me eternally, or she'll stick with it and I'll see she cares. Anyway tomorrow, the 4th, is my birthday... last year she tried to go to Ocean City during my birthday, hah, yeah right, I ain't havin that. This year she better throw me a fucking extravaganza. Anyway, I feel so good right now. I had the perfect night. I worked for 8 hours (made some loot), went to her place, got some, fucked with her, left while laughing my ass of for like 5 minutes straight, then played Tekken with a friend of mine until 5:30. Life is good!
 
That's pretty messed up Phrost, I'm amazed you can justify doing such things to another human simply for your entertainment. I am now completely disgusted.

Serra Avatar?? whoo, yeah she's hot, lol...i'd never shun anyone for sounding like a magic geek. Made good buissiness sense i suppose to make stronger cards in a new set, since then everyone would need to go out and buy stronger cards also, ironically many people just stopped playing then, heh. "Type 1" is just another way to say 'really old and probably expensive' stuff.

yeah, probably won't either unless someone in the store is demoing their own or a traded in one, sony isn't in a rush to make demo models, and after seeing what happened to many ds demos, i can't blame them.

Yeah Serra Avatar, that's it! I remember the old Serra Angels, those were cool but this thing is just a beast. I understand the idea of making more powerful cards so people need to buy newer stuff but I think they went a bit overboard, cards like that ruin the fun for me. So type 1 means old? Well I guess almost all my collection is ancient, although I am curious what cards they've banned from the new editions, I heard they took at soul rings at some point.

I actually haven't seen to many beat up DS demo stands, the one I ran across that wasn't working simply had a non-functional touch screen, still it would be nice to see how a PSP plays before you spend $250 on the package.

And I think I'm going to vacate this topic now, Phrost's comments have become a bit disturbing, perhaps if he's left alone he'll reason things out. Well nice talking to you, if you ever get bored please feel free to join us in the OTT.
 
Hey on the plus side your really old cards are probably worth a lot, esp since you haven't played them and they haven't risked getting worn or messed up. I think most of the really powerful stuff is limited, which means only one per deck. not bad as long as you have tricky ways to find what you need, a la dark ritual, for example...;)

I just read it through quickly. He basically has this ex who he keeps using for sex. She still cares for him and keeps trying to get back together, he tolerates it, has sex with her, then leaves. At first she was initiating it and he was just using her after she came to him, that last post makes it look like he is initiating it now, going to her (instead of her going to him), using her for sex, treating her like shit, then leaving.

Yeah... pretty much. Except, I apologized... I realized that what I did, I did out of anger and retaliation. I talked to her last night for a couple of hours and she was real depressed. I love the girl, and I talked her out of killing herself. However, I went ahead and made the same mistake I've been making... I gave her another chance. :whistle2:& I don't know why... maybe I feel bad for her, maybe I miss her... maybe it's just gut instinct... but I'm again setting myself up for disappointment.
