tomorow, after paying for Jake's second surgery in a week, i won't have any money. at all. there goes my savings.
Depends on who you ask. Some games just don't need innovative controller setup. I'm of the opinion SSMB and other fighting games are probably better served with a classic controller scheme. I'd think metal slug falls into that category as well. I know for one I'm ecstatic that they've done this... what Nintendo and developers should do, if you ask me, is put both a normal and an innovative scheme into all games where it makes sense (read: LoZ: TP)... much like MS:Anthology did.

The only problem with MSA is that of the five Wii control schemes, none of them work perfectly like the Wavebird setup does. One comes closer, two are passable, and the other two are complete shit. You're pretty much forced to have a Cube controller for the best way to play the game. That's pretty much the only flaw with the game that's not a result of the individual games themselves. My review if you're interested.

I remember you talking about it as you played through it. I'll have to check out the review, but what you say here is exactly what I was talking about.

The following is me bitching about the lack of options in control schemes in certain Wii games. Skip it if it doesn't interest you.
That's kind of what I'm getting at. I'm sure that the one that comes close to the gamecube controller will please those looking for an alternate control scheme that takes advantage of the wiimote/nunchuck. But the ability to use the gcn controller is also nice so purists/people who don't want the new-fangled control schem will also be happy. I still maintain I would've bought a Wii at launch if Zelda:TP would have allowed a gcn controller to be used. When they split the functionality, they guaranteed I would buy the GCN edition of the game and will be waiting for a few games I want to come out before I splurge on a Wii (just like with the 360). On the other hand, with SSBB, I will be happy as a pig in shit with the standard control scheme while Ackbar will be disappointed they didn't make use of the wiimote/nunchuck capabilities.

I just realized, I'm going to have to buy a classic controller when SSBB comes out anyway. Stupid Nintendo and their 2 ft gamecube cords. I have a wavebird but the fucker randomly turns off on me.

You could always just get an cord extender for that Gamecube controller. I got one at Gamestop for around $3ish or so.

But then I have to leave the flap at the top of my wii open and let dust penetrate it.
Do you guys think it would be ok to sell large amounts of new/sealed car audio/video products on CAG at below retail?

I have a new business. :D
Yes. I'd love to see what you have to offer.
Okay, after getting through my n00b stage, Rainbow is owning ass.

The popular opinion seems to be that its a leftover level for Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.

I need to e-mail this chick from Georgia Tech about my financial aid for the summer as I need to take a few classes. I better not be forced to pay for tuition!

Easy solution:

Plug the controller in when you play.
Unplug the controller when you are not playing.

Simple, easy, and effective.

Not effective. It requires getting up off your ass.

How insensitive.

At least eat him, taking special care to use all the parts in veneration. Dog is high in protein. And their ears make a delightful sauce.

Man... those fucking arrows are cheap! Its sad when the best AI teammate you've had was an 80 year old gas station attendant.
Eating him was implied. Duh. ;)

I was googling for a picture of some rotisserie dog and found this.
That's horrible and hilarious at the same time. More hilarious .
no, that's horrible.

You need to play co-op. I hear the AI is all kinds of terrible. I wouldn't know.

But really, GoW would be the only online game I'd play, and I'm really not that good anyways.

Well, I just got in from the Army of Anyone show. Man was that a fucking line up! Me and my partner got the CDs from both openeres, Neurosonic and Dropping Daylight. Hell, we were even able to get them signed by their respective bands. I even got Neurosonic to sign my ticket! Spoke to each of them for a few mins too. Both were extremely down to earth and really cool. When I was telling lead singer and I think the bassist or guitarist of Neurosonic that I always prefer to buy a bands CD at their shows because more money goes to them than buying them in the store, the look on their faces were like "holy shit! you're cool!" lol. Th band before AoA was Hurt. I'd been wanting to see them for a while now. Had high expectations from them and they blew it out of the water! As for Army of Anyone, they rocked hard as all hell! They played STP and Filter stuff too. Richard Patrick does a damn good job with the STP material.

All in all, thats probably gonna be one of the best shows we'll see all year. The bill was fuckin incredible. And some of you get the chance check out Neurosonic and Dropping Daylight. Both are incredibly talented bands that could use a lot of support

Its quotes like this that upset me

"The Palestinian Web site Ramattan quoted Saqsaq's family as saying he had left their home three days ago and not returned.

"We knew that he was going to carry out a martyrdom operation," Saqsaq's brother, Naeem, told reporters at the family home in the northern Gaza Strip. "His mother and father prayed for him to succeed.""

Ack! Politics in the OTT bad!

Why not talk about other things, like how my laptop can barely run my shiny new copy of Fable? Stupid underpowered graphics card... :whistle2:(
Disney's making a live-action Underdog movie? WTF?
The thing is, it looks like it's got almost nothing to do with the original cartoon from the little that's been revealed thus far. Beyond Jason Lee as Underdog, I'm not seeing much about the movie that I like at the moment.

I'm still holding out hope for Ghost Rider and the new TMNT movie, though. :)

Well they just made Cinderella 3 so yeah......

Hell I didn't even know they made a second one.

I think he pulled a michael jackson on us. Ya-ya wasn't black, black, but like a cuban black. but in that pick he is as white as matt damon.

Went to Barnes and Noble, got a hot chocolate from starbucks. It wasn't hot chocolate at all. The chick frothed some milk then pumped some chocolate syrup junk into it.

It was only $2 bucks but better then nothing I guess. Least the books I bought made up for it.
