We appreciate you helping keep this thread up to date. The sales change virtually every day so no one person has the time to update them all. If you notice a game is no longer on sale, feel free to delete its line from the sale list. Of course, if you see a game is on sale, add it to the list. Make sure your changes match the thread's format! For example, every game that's on sale is part of an unordered list. When adding a game to the list, copy an existing line and update the link, title, and prices. That way, the format stays correct. Do not list percentages off! We list the original price and the sale price here. If you have any suggestions for major changes to the post/thread, PM me (EastX) about them.

What is a CD key and where can I find it?

The CD Key is a serial number with a combination of 13, 18, or 25 letters and numbers - it can be found on a sticker inside your game's case or printed on the game's quick reference card.
The CD Key acts as your proof of purchase for the game - Steam Support may ask for it if you need to establish your ownership of an account. It is recommended that you keep your CD Key in a safe place to ensure the security of your account.

This reminded me that I hadn't activated my copy of Rage Anarchy Edition yet. I input the game's code (which like yours only had 14 digits but worked anyway) and then entered the Anarchy Edition code from the insert, but Steam tells me I already have the product(s) associated with the code. Now I'm confused. As far as DLC, it showed (and still shows) from the initial code that I have the Authority Pack and Sewers.

Authority Pack IS the Anarchy Edition DLC, right? Did I get the whole shebang from the initial code and now have an extra Anarchy Edition upgrade from the insert? Or am I in fact missing something?

Authority Pack DLC and Sewers DLC = the extra content for the Anarchy Edition.

I hadn't bothered to try and redeem the Anarchy code just yet because I usually like try a base game without the DLC first (whenever this is an option, that is) so I have a sense of what has been add with the DLC.

I like to do the same.

I also noticed that about the RAGE code lacking that 5th digit, and I could have sworn that it didn't work, so I requested a replacement from Newegg and they sent me another one without requiring me to return the original. When the replacement had the same # of digits, and it worked, I asked a buddy if he wanted a chance at a free game. The original code worked.
 
Yeah, my copy of RAGE Anarchy Edition activated both DLCs with the game code and the two add-in DLC codes were extra copies of that. Happened the same way to me.

There are probably a lot of RAGE buying CAGs who didn't get the AE and would like those extra codes

I'm not sure If I tried my 14 digit Rage key or not - I know I went through the entire alphabet for the 15th character though :p Ended up contacting Bethesda to get a new one...whether or not mine was already the AE originally or not, guess I'll never know.

Every new copy of Rage comes with the sewers, the anarchy edition is just for those extra weapons and junk. The sewers are treated like DLC because they required a code for the console version to unlock them. New editions of the game came with the code, if someone bought it used they would have had to paid to unlock the sewers, it was their lame attempt at some type of pass to cut people off from content if they bought it used (like online passes).

The PC version obviously can not be bought used so it automatically has the sewers in it, they just didn't bother clean up the system for it with codes.

Anyone having problems with having the Trine 2 Coupon appear in your inventory? I've won three coupons and, every time that I enter in the codes, it is redeemed with the item listing as "Steam - ". When I check my inventory, nothing is there.

Weirdly, I won a Legends of Grimrock coupon and it went through without a hitch.

I won a coupon within the first hour of the Autumn Seal, and it said the same thing. Mine appeared in my inventory, but the date said it expired next year instead of on November 20th, like the Autumn Seal page says. Maybe they're trying to get the date modified on the coupons or something. But mine said the same thing when I redeemed it, and it's in my inventory.
 
The daily deal game looks cool, but with no single player it is not worth it too me. When you go and read up about it, apparently the community is dead and what people do play are elitist pricks. If the game had some type of single player skirmish mode I'd be willing to get it heh.

This is what I experienced last night with the Trine 2 coupon. Pity, since that and its DLC make up the only games from this promotion I don't already own.

Cheapest non-4-pack has been gamefly with whatever the current 20% off code is, bringing it to $16 for a steam key. I got my copy that way. The only version of TL2 that does not require steam is direct from the publisher.
 
I'd be shocked if TL2 wasn't on sale during Steam's 'Autumn' Sale (assuming they repeat it) and, failing that, certainly the Winter Sale. Just hold out another two weeks to a month.

woo just won a copy of RUSE on SG.

This game had evaded me twice (once when it was on sale for super cheap on GMG but I couldn't but it due to it not being sold to NA customers and with the EU only Ubi deal that happened earlier in the week)
 
I'm looking for a 360 controller with a decent D-pad. I'm using a PS3 controller right now and it works fine with DS3 tool in the background, but it sometimes jumbles the face buttons with games in Steam. It's not imperative or anything. I'm just plug'n'play lazy if there's a good option. Thanks in advance.

Kinda funny that Zombies. was recently a deal on IndieGameStand (will cost less in this bundle most likely), and Stellar Impact is the Steam daily deal lol.

Alan Wake and American Nightmare were sold for ten dollars together? I missed out on a sale. Bummer.

Yep, $10 for the franchise pack (which included Alan Wake CE and American Nightmare) during the summer sale. I believe they were also a $10 midweek or weekend deal a few weeks ago too.
