That sums it up well. I was disappointed with the game after the first level and started to wish it would end. When it finally ended I wondered why I bothered.

 
I have a foil that is priced at half the price of the other listed cards and has been for the past two weeks, and it hasn't sold. You guys aren't missing out on much.

And I believe that the foil cards can only be crafted to level 1, meaning that people buy them less often than regular cards, which can be crafted to 5.

Level 1 only yeah.

Got only one foil so far from magicka but it was also "the first" so was able to sell for 7€ + fees.

Then it went quickly down hill:

So far I've managed to snag two foils. But the second one I had to bottom out to sell, they've gotten a lot more worthless since it came out of beta. They still can go for decent amounts just have to get lucky.

Why does it seem like Steam is waiting for everybody to finish their Summer Sales (Amazon DVG, Gamersgate, GMG, etc)  - and Steam is prepared to lay the smackdown when they finally decide to drop their Summer Sale Bomb?

Despite what you would think from their terrible reputation with support tickets, most Valve employees work more hours per week than any human probably should.

just to point out for most US federal holidays most retail stores are open, it makes sense since Everyone else is basically off...

 
Yeah, the only real 'sacred' holidays from a retail standpoint used to be Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas and Thanksgiving was given over to the commerce gods a year or two ago.

 
Just woke up - did I miss the customized trading card boat? Some of them are quite amusing!

I really hope the Summer Sale kicks off today, or very soon. I'm having a helluva time containing myself and not shelling out on other deals. I seem to be more interested in shopping than actually playing these damned things. I'm sitting here watching a review for Grid 2 and I don't even like racing games (save Burnout).

 
I haven't seen this mentioned, possibly because it's not card related, but if you picked up Bleed with the Retro Groupee bundle Steam keys are now available for it.

If you're lucky that is. I got the retro Groupee bundle but still haven't got my Steam key for Bleed. Fired off an email to their support and still haven't heard back.

Well, fuck. That bundle is now cheaper than I paid for the second racing game.
