Awesome work Mr. Squirrel. I tip my hat.

I also volunteer to update the OP on a weekday. Tuesday or Wednesday would work best.

I vote you use discretion with THE in the title. If you need the space then take it out and put it back in when you can. I also vote against two trade threads. I think one works just fine.
I'm fine with updating the OP most days. I tend to fall behind on Saturday/Sunday, though, not that the changeover is very big on a non-publisher weekend.

That works for me. Wish I could help out on weekends but those are my sleep in days.

The important thing, I guess, is that if it's getting on in the day and somebody notices that a deal hasn't been added or is out of date or something, just go in and fix it.

It's a wiki and anyone can do it.

Also, some newer users need to have their wiki posts approved, so if you see a big red pending edits link on the first page between the edit wiki and edit history links, go in and approve it.

I guess I'm just saying that I like editing the OP and will try to do it most days, but if anyone notices I've fallen behind please feel free to do it yourself.

Other types of thinking are how a lot of these threads have fallen into disrepair in the first place...

Achievement Unlocked!

That's just weird and wrong... Stream Thread have deals in the title... and not very good deals at that. I sleep 2.5 hours, work 11 hours and CAG's gone all outta whack.

And WTH aren't there any racing games on sale?!? ^_~

I got one for the first shift key post in the thread.

The "the" wars remind me of Ohio State and how they force "the" in front of their name.

Edit: I shouldn't be typing while quadruple tasking.

Did you get a CAG Trading Card, too? ;)

Well I doubt anyone actually cares at this point, but I went and added all the missing F2P titles to the OP (at least I think I got them all). When the flip did there get to be so many:hot:
Hey io, continuing the conversation you started over in the other Steam thread: if he is around 13 or older, I think you should build a computer with him. Maybe younger, even, I don't remember the cognitive capacity of kids that age. Anyway, the reason I say this is because, as someone who was taught how computers work at a young age by helping my dad build computers, I have benefited from that knowledge and experience exponentially as I grew older. I became savvy enough to manipulate Windows to suit my needs, took that savviness into learning the ins and outs of various types of software, built my own computers, and I ultimately have a career that is the result of those days when I built computers with my dad.

Plus, and perhaps most importantly, it is one of my fondest memories.
He's exactly 13 ;). While I never built a computer, I did grow up with some of the very first home ones which led me to a career doing "computer stuff" as well. However, I can't even get this kid to clean up all his food and garbage from the computer/video game room so I'm not sure I want to even get him a new computer. He needs to shape up first.

Good reasoning. Maybe see if you can get him to participate in building YOU a computer? Then once it's all built and you show him how BF3 runs on it, say you guys can work on one for him over the summer if he shapes up...

Rochard is great fun and the Hard Times DLC is a delightful batch of hard mode rooms for it.

I cannot recommend Strike Suit in any of its forms but maybe that's because I've outgrown the Wing Commander style gameplay. SSZ seemed to be entirely capital ship escort and thus shoot down weak bombers and fling bullets at the long health bars of bigger ships to occasionally get to go strike suit and do 30 lock on missile barrage before switching back

I love the marketplace :D

I logged into TF2 to get my cards by going afk, first time I've logged in the game in years (I stopped playing right before Steam started recording time played, that long). Well when I got my cards and closed the game down I had like 35 TF2 items in my inventory. Off to the marketplace I went with them and made around 18 :D

Then I got really lucky and got a foil card from HL2 and currently have it up and hoping it sells soon. Free games woo :D

I agree with KaOTiK. The marketplace is pretty feckin' sweet.

Had a bunch of "vintage" blue items and some other cosmetic items from owning other games and made about $11 and change off it. I tried to convince a buddy to sell off his stuff on the market but he said he didn't care and didn't want to waste his time. I was flabbergasted. It took maybe 5 minutes total to list the items and I got $11 for it. I told him he was beyond crazy for turning down an easy $10 in Steam credit.

Looking forward to getting card drops so I can start selling those and adding to my wallet (though I expect the non-foil cards are probably worth diddily squat now).

DOTA 2/Don't Starve/CSGO each one of their cards goes for around $1. TF2/HL2 each one of those cards goes for around $0.50. Not too bad, but prices are steadily falling as each new wave of invites goes out.
So at the moment I am filled with a small sadness knowing I can't buy Everyday Genius: SquareLogic from Steam.
Fun game, I bought it due to this thread during a holiday sale I think?

Ta Mr Ninja Squirrel!

(Also posting here subscribes me to the thread, which I can never figure out how to do on CAG Mobile)

I decided to sell some of my TF2 items in the marketplace that I have had sitting in my inventory for far too long. While I am loving the money does anyone know how to turn of email notifications for the marketplace sales. I am just getting overwhelmed with emails and it is a tad annoying.
So at the moment I am filled with a small sadness knowing I can't buy Everyday Genius: SquareLogic from Steam.
It's quite addictive.

Since the publishing rights reverted from MumboJumbo back to the developer it was dropped from Steam. They've asked about putting it back on Steam but Valve has been slow to respond to them for some reason.

Noun --- coup d'état (plural coups d'état or coup d'états)

The sudden overthrow of a government, differing from a revolution by being carried out by a small group of people who replace only the leading figures.

Also, nice work on the thread, Mr. Ninja Squirrel.

Ah new thread smell.

If you have any interest in space/building rockets. I can't recommend Kerbal Space Program enough. That game is so addicting. It's basically you build rockets and conduct NASA missions (fly to other planets, build space stations, etc).

I hear what you're saying but I'll probably pick it up out or idle curiosity when it's cheap. Regardless of what I've read and seen about it, there's a nagging part of me that still wants to play it despite better judgement.

First World Steam Problems.

Sounds good but I've already preordered Aerospace Engineering '14 at Gamestop and I can only afford one. I hope EA gets it right this year.

Sounds too much like work, besides I can "play" with STK (Satellite Tool Kit) whenever I want.

There's a free version too. There's series of video tutorials as well. And my favorite, Modeling Missile Trajectories in STK.
Where you want to go today?

What can I do with free STK?

Thanks for posting your thoughts. I was on the verge of buying this as a gift for someone, but didn't know if it was actually fun and how far along it was in development.

yes, for the love of all that is holy keep trades separate, people will be spamming their trade lists 2-3X more as the thread will be filling up even faster. It also makes it easier to search for a specific item you want to purchase.

Lame. I would buy it if it came back.

Winter Voices eventually came back, and I bought all the episodes when it did.

Edit: Not sure I can really recommend that depressing game, though. You'll be kind of clueless about what's happening, interested in the surreal bits, but in the end, nothing makes sense.

Every Day Genius is indeed great and I think we've had this convo before about it :)

The physical version is a bargain bin title now and pretty cheap. I hope they make it to steam again, not sure why they don't go Greenlight because I think it would get voted in.

It is lots of fun actually if you like the idea of building rockets and exploring a galaxy. It's kinda like minecraft as in build the most craziest shit you can. It's by no means finished but in the state it's in, at the same time, it's like minecraft in the later alpha/beta stages. Perfectly playable but at the same time they are adding new stuff pretty regularly.

Anyone know if Dust an Elysian Tail will be having any %off preordering? Or when preordering will happen/

So it doesn't make sense even after a complete playthrough? Is that because the dev didn't finish the story? I thought I read that there were supposed to be more episodes that were never released. I only picked up a few of these because they looked interesting but I backlogged it and haven't jumped in yet.

Looking to get a new mouse since mine is starting to give me issues. So I'm looking for suggestions for a good gaming mouse, one that potentially comes bundled with a keyboard. Anyone have any suggestions?

I've been wanting to pick it up for a while now, basically because Anthony Gallegos over on Rebel FM won't shut up about it. I've heard it's pretty difficult though, which is usually a big turn off for me (yes, I know I'm a baby:baby:), but there also seems to be a bunch of great tutorials online. Will definitely pick it up when it drops to $10 or less;)

I can't speak for a complete play through. I played through the first episode and half the second. I quit the game and uninstalled because I realized it was depressing me. :p

At that point, it still didn't make sense.

The game is done, I believe, with the five episodes on Steam.
