Seeing the number of Store Pages in my wishlist that don't work at all is also a bit disappointing.  It's like they've never done this before...

Yes. I got it on release on 360 and PC and don't regret it.

Is it sad that I'm considering buying Hotline Miami simply for the cards to resell? (I have $8.xx from previous cards in my steam wallet)

 
So since Bastion and Cities XL were both on the list for games getting cards, I think that all but confirms my theory of games getting cards coincide with them being dailies in order to push more sales. We'll know for sure if either of those end up as a daily and get cards as well.

 
Sometimes it feels like you guys don't think and just complain. Steam won't lose sales out of a 1 hr downtime out of a 24 hr daily deal, if anything that diminishes the negative impact of price mistakes on the overall income. You've been here, you know how it works, there's no reason to cry over it, so either deal with it or come back in like 1~2 hrs when we all know it'll be fine.

 
Anyone else having trouble listing cards?  Things time out or they list and I can see them from the main market page but I don't see them in the listing themselves.

I've played it for a while, but have recently moved on until the DLCs/expansions come out.. I got way more than my $40 worth (What I spent on it at launch).

I played it with my GF as well. We enjoyed ourselves. I'd say it was worth playing (see below)

TSW was a little choppy on the older laptop as well, but defiance ran fine. It was designed for consoles and PC, so the PC requirements aren't exactly high..

I posted a mini-review before the 3.0 switch and can't find it, so I will type something out again. Shooting mechanics are solid. You're given a mount about an hour into the game, which is very nice for a MMO. Driving is fun. Quicktravel as soon as you get to an outpost for the first time. Story-line is decent. Side missions are basically an excuse to go shoot bad guys. Co-op missions are fun the first few times you do them.

We didn't burn through the storyline missions and then complain on the official forums that there was nothing to do (as many did at launch). We did a story mission, then a few side missions, or some of the episiodic content (which they are repeating now by the way), then we'd do some daily/weekly contracts, or a Co-Op mission or some PvP and finally another main mission to strat the loop again. We got a couple enjoyable months out of the game that way.

Edit to add: I totally forgot to mention roadside encounters and Arkfalls. Arkfalls are crazy fun and never did get old for me. Roadside encounters spice up the drive, and give good xp.

Also adding: I really liked the classless system and the fact that you have the ability to unlock EVERY skill in the game on one character. No need for Alts, no chance of 'messing up' your char. Different loadouts allow you to switch on the fly between outfits/weapon/power/perks. It's up to you how to play.. and switching just means going into the menu and hitting a button.. anywhere (even hiding behind a wall in the middle of a fight).

I'd say if you're interested at this price you should give it a shot.

As a side note, I find the game far more enjoyable than the show.

I played about 5 hours of it. Its a decent shooter MMO. I like it because its not as much commitment as other MMOs and you can just join in and have a good time. There isn't as much benefit from levels as normal RPGs. It feels a lot like a Borderlands MMO. There are some sacrifices though with any largely multiplayer game. Colision detection, etc.

Anyone else having the issue of not being able to buy anything on Steam?  All my "add to cart" boxes are greyed out in browser and in client... really?  WTF?

I don't think steam can really compete with all the other online retailers chipping away these days. This is the second straight steam sale where so far it seems to have underwhelmed. That being said this is only day 1 and we might get some gems but I'm not going to hold my breath.
