Are these Gamefly games redeemable on Steam? Specifically the Telltale Bundle, but curious about them all. If so, how can you tell (without having to come here and ask?)

The page will tell you if it activates on Steam (at the top of the description). The Tomb Raider and Daedalic bundles activate on Steam, everything else doesn't. Gamefly is still behind the times when it comes to Steam stuff. They have some good deals from time to time, but there are probably very few people that buy non-Steam/Origin PC games from them.. they should get their act together.

Gamefly is always having amazing sales, but they usually get ignored.
I wouldn't say they're amazing when you compare them to other major online retailers (Amazon and GMG in particular). They do have some good sales occasionally, but nothing mind blowing. I haven't bought much from them and I've kept pretty good track of their sales. I purchase far more from Amazon, GMG, GamersGate, and Steam.

EDIT: Just checked my purchase history, I've only bought one game from gamefly for myself, but I have bought a few things for CAGs.

Gamefly sales are fairly mediocre. I've never seen them price anything competitively, especially when compared to just about any of their competition. It only seems like a good deal if you're ignorant of all the better sales and dealers.

I wouldn't say "always" and "amazing," but gamefly is typically underrated. I've gotten a number of good sales from them. But if I had to rate sales quality I'd go Steam>Amazon>GMG>Gamefly>Gamersgate. Gamersgate is just terrible.

GamersGate is MUCH better than gamefly if you've got the 20% off "Oops" discount. I'd rank GG slightly below GMG. They also have some amazing price mistakes.

Gamefly is barely a step above Gamestop. It makes sense, both companies make most of their profit from console games, so they don't focus as much on the PC market.

From the bundle page, under "Also in this bundle" you have to click on the details for each game to see if it's Steam.

It looks like both Walking Dead titles and Jurassic Park are Steam from the Telltale bundle.

Kinda a PITA to tell.....

Ah I didn't know that, I guess I was wrong about the Telltale bundle then. Brutal Legend is also the only game Steam redeemable in the Double Fine bundle.

That's what I figured, but I wanted to double check since for some reason the poster was talking about the AC bundle in the Steam Deals thread even though it isn't a Steam deal. Bummer. I'd be all over that Telltale bundle if it was a Steam code.

Personally, I'd put GameFly and GMG over GamersGate, since they both have 20%+ discounts that I can use. (I don't have the 20% off at GG.). Amazon is great for bundles. For me they all fill a different niche.

Ubisoft doesn't usually provide Steam keys anyway. Amazon was the one exception, there were a few Ubisoft games on Amazon that had Steam keys.. but Ubisoft requested Amazon to remove them.

I'd rather Gamersgate be better BEFORE and AFTER that 20% "oops" discount.

High end CPU/GPU typically have a v2 released a while after, same power, less energy consumed. Pick a quality PSU, the right components, never overclock, you can easily have an awesome rig with reasonable power requirements.
Beyond that, not all power supplies are equal. A quality PSU at 450 watts is different than just saying a PSU at 450 watts. Some of the reason for high wattage PSU requirements is an assumption that many PSUs rather overstate what they can put out.

First year for me buying stuff off Gamefly.  I like 'em.  Bought the two big Skyram DLC, Max Payne 3 + Season Pass, Battlefield Premium service, Rage + DLC, and Strike Suit Infinity from them over the past few months.  All for $43.34.

Amazon's tonsils have rooster-nut residue all over them. What do you guys see in it?

One great bundle every couple months and GMG shits all over everything else.

I think this was a trick question, now that I've read it I can't get that image out of my head.

While Amazon isn't very consistent with deals, the deals that do stand out are unbeatable. The recent Square Enix bundle is a good example of this. GMG is more consistent but doesn't have good bundle deals.

This might be old news to some of you, but there's a Grid 2 Steam key giveaway on Facebook that's easy to win.

https://apps.facebook.com/intelgiveaway/

They're giving out 100 keys every day for 100 days. Supposedly you get one if you're in the top 100 high score list, but I've heard they distribute them randomly. There's an easy way to "cheat" your time too.. just keep switching tabs in your browser until you need to click on obstacles, then switch tabs again and repeat the process. They don't check the times.. but I've heard of people winning with legitimate times too, so it may be randomly distrubuted.

It took me a few days to get one, but I won a key today. Don't forget to confirm your email address. I believe they send out keys at 1 pm est every day.

That's AZ's specialty.

Pushing indies like they're $5 footlongs and having 1 -- probably lame -- sale per week is very special too.

No 20% codes is special.

Now that I'm privy, can you please delete this post, please?

thanks for Bioshock Infinite ;)

DIRT 3 will most likely have GFWL removed according to these responses from the dev:

Just an update on this guys, we had all seen the Bioshock 2 thing today and was really impressed with what they had done. I'm not going to have anything concreate for you on what we are doing for a while GFWL is really hard wired into DiRT 3 and taking it out is a big job. We are on it though and I'll keep you updated.
At the moment I don't know - I'll be dammed if I let anybody kill off DiRT3 and I'm sure thats the last thing anybody wants. We have a fair bit of time before any of that happens though and I assure you guys we are working on a solution.
RE our other games, I believe all the ones with GFWL are being looked at but sadly have nothing to announce at the moment.

Not sure what will happen to Dirt 2.

I'll believe it when I see GFWL-free Dirt 2.
Of course they don't want DIRT 3 to die - it's the newest true-blue DIRT game.

Also, was that game ever really as popular as DIRT 2 was?

I really hope they switch DIRT 2 over to Steamworks, as well. The less DRM-layers, the freaking better.

I missed all the friendship love the other day.  Feel free to add me on steam.  Id like to populate my list a little more too

Did anyone ever find out why the original DIRT is no longer being sold?  It's impossible to search the googles without getting flooded with news about DIRT 4 (or 3 or 2 or Showdown) or used ebay copies.  That remains my favorite Codemasters rally game.

Most likely a license issue. When you're making a game full of brands, ego centric atheletes, and popular music, some contract or another will eventually expire and they won't want to bother renewing it. See also Blur.
