Too bad there isn't anything more to Shoot Many Robots. I enjoy reading the ridiculous descriptions (Fruit er is a great name for an accessory) but the same-y gameplay and no plot gets boring after a while.

Reddit, but I remembered wrong. The claim was only two previously-bundled games, both bundled over a year ago.

All I owned already was Eldrich, and I don't even feel bad. I wonder what the chances are of the bonus games being super awesome bundle-newbies too.

After looking over the games in the bundle I was actually surprised to find that Eldrich is the only game in the bundle I'm actually interested in since I already have Blockland, and I'm not interested in Eldrich enough to drop $4.99 on it.

Blink Bundle is out! And it's actually really decent!

Pretty nice. The second tier would have been a no-brainer if I didn't already own Blockland and Eldritch. As it is, I read Motoki's rather scathing review of Lilly on Steam and viewed the trailer for Hero of the Kingdom and they both look like lukewarm crap. Went in for the first tier because I've been waiting for Light of Altair to show up in a bundle for ages.

Sweet! All I had was Sideway and Bonus Game. I think they're cheating by having Bonus Game at both levels but whatevs - I've had that game in my backlog for ages and haven't played it. Bundle purchasored!

Was EA always listed as a publisher on the Steam page, or is that new?

It was self-published on Steam, and EA everywhere else.

Except I played on the Commodore and remember being annoyed that the PC version just made a ring around your bird rather than actually turning the phoenix into a ball of flame (and immune to damage). Anyway, the only thing I owned from the bundle (LF856) was Blockland so I picked (DZX3J) up on the rest of it. Here's hoping (L6RLN) for something good next week.

Fun Deano Fact:

Last time I saw him was at a night game (he's long since retired). He'd been on the booze since lunchtime, fell over Mrs Flow, and made a bit of a tit of himself. He was later found asleep at the wheel on the M62 hard shoulder at around 4am the following morning. He hasn't taken retirement well, as happens with lots of sports stars. He's not the cleverest either which has kinda limited his options. Still our favourite son, mind.

Sorta-back-on-topic: I played some Lords Of Football last night. I've replaced my entire team with posters from this thread, we have a horrible kit and a lot of gambling addictions.

As a football (soccer) sim it's very flimsy and quite shallow. As a Sims-esque lifestyle choice game it's bloody funny seeing people you know waste their fortunes in the casino.

I'll see if I can get the BGCQnited roster on Steam Workshop or something. It took me a while to do but it was pretty funny.

So I played the first episode of Saturday Morning RPG. It's a lot like Costume Quest so far, but with more depth to the combat. Not gonna give a mini review yet, as the first episode is pretty short.. but I'll try to when I'm finished with it.

I think if you liked Costume Quest and 80's references, you'll love Saturday Morning RPG.

I loved Costume Quest and the 80's so this bodes well SMRPG might be a game I actually enjoy

Edited: Looks like I also missed the added Steam keys for Gunman Clive (Debut 1) and Beast Boxing Turbo (Debut 2). I should check that bundle wiki more often.

I found the Steam key on my Undieroyale page and on my Desura collection page. I forgot to close the Desura window and accidentally moused over the Desura icon on the taskbar to see I now have two Steam keys in my Desura collection.

I've seen those commercials for Wahlburger, seems interesting.

Man! That game play looks amazing! (Honestly, sweet trailer but I think it tells me less about the game than the back of the box would... Assuming it will have a boxed release.)

Also, has anyone stopped to consider what sort of train wreck this could be...? Bethesda, masters of releasing (wonderful) but highly buggy games is going to release an MMO (which never goes smoothly) on the masses...

I mean this has a chance of being 3 inches of snow in Atlanta type of cluster.

Let's see, I really liked Hero of the Kingdom. My expectations were low but it's a nice change of pace if you're up for something more casual.

Lily is okay. Mostly puzzles and atmosphere and fairly short. I regret paying full price for it but it's an okay minor diversion at this price.

I've heard good things about Mutant Mudds. Seems to be a highly regarded platformer.

Archon is a chess-like game with some extra elements.

Gnomoria is like Towns but better. Sort of Dwarf Fortress town building style game.

I'm not too familiar with the others yet but it's not hard to look up reviews on Steam or metacritic or Google or what not.

I think this bundle is a good deal at that price and has games that haven't been bundled to death yet or at all.

It's a completely different team making it. I didn't find it buggy so much as unfinished in spots so they're going to have their work cut out for them getting everything done in the short time left.

Hmmm. I didn't buy the IndieGala bundle but I did sign up for the Wizards alpha which eventually included a Steam key. I don't remember redeeming the key but I must have because I also have the game in my library.

Try speaking to whomever is in charge of castles. Can't quite remember which option it is, but it's something like "Can I ask you a question" and there should be a "Do you know where I can find" question. They'll tell you where the person was seen recently. Of course, by the time you get there, that person likely will have moved on, but sooner or later depending on your tracking skill you should be able to catch up with them.

You can also ask other leaders you stumble across in the overworld. Finding specific people can be extremely time consuming if they aren't at their home castle.

Archon is chess-like except you actually control your dudes during the combat (unlike Battle Chess with pre-set fights where the 'correct' piece always wins). So if Player A's "Knight" unicorn attacks Player B's "Pawn" goblin, the goblin can still win if B is a more skilled player in the combat portion. [I assume Motoki knew this, just elaborating]

Whoever made that Cups video must have been getting paid by the minute. Friggin' 1:30 long intros before the music even starts.

Didn't Amalur used to have Steam achievements? 

There's a thread or two in the forums mentioning that their progress was wiped.  I wonder if EA replaced the Steam version with the Origin one.

EDIT: As other posters have since mentioned, it looks like this might be a temporary achievement issue with Steam, and not necessarily with the game.  Thanks, all.

RAM Prices almost prevented me from deciding on a new build w/ my kid. I guess early last year a Hynix factory went up in flames (major mfr.) which made prices soar. Standard 1333/1600Mhz DDR3 was around $47 holiday 2012. Newegg was one of few that had any specials for this past year. I scored 8GB g.Skill rjX 1600MHz for $49 shipped. Right now, it's ridiculous. However, there's hope. I've posted something I just found that should help if anybody plans a purchase of RAM in the next cpl months.

I never finished Amalur, I don't know if I'll ever play it again, but with no hope of a sale for so long... and now 70%, I think I'm gonna buy the two DLCs I've had on my wishlist for a couple of years. $2.99 x2, I've made that much on cards in the last month probably.

Yes it did have achievements, I don't know about now but it did before.
