Going to have a double baconator from Wendys for lunch. It will be - the bomb.
Also going to gamestop later to check out a used PSP. I've loved my :ds: but I've played through most of its RPGs.

If you want a deal on one, send me a PM. Looking to get rid of mine.

Replaced my motherboard and almost finished reinstalling windows.

15 Day DL for Anus Tear. No wonder. I think people weren't commenting because that kind of injury left them speechless.
Chase Utley is back for the Phillies tonight...time to turn this season around!
Hooray for 50 year old knees!

Seriously though, the Phillies time is ending. While I don't see it happening this year (pitch counts), but the Nats could be interesting to watch in the next couple years.
Man, Bioshock 2 is really on rails (because you ride a train between destinations) and linear.
IMO the Bioshock series was not that fantastic as a whole. They both fell into the linear pattern and once you got over using fireballs and electric shocks to kill things, it was truthfully not that revolutionary. Some very interesting ideas but nothing I would call flawless or phenomenal.

To paraphrase Bryce Harper: "That's a Clown statement, Brah!"

Nats will be 15 out by the end of the year. The Mets are a non-factor. If anything the Braves are the team to beat, but the Big Piece is coming back after the All-Star game and the Phills will contend.

The Braves have been doing well, but I don't know if I see it lasting for the long haul. Losing Brandon Beachy for the year definitely hurts.

As just a FPS it's not very much. As a world, theme, and setting it's great.
The second one doesn't have as much in the way of surprises or exploration, though.

What was so fun about the first one was just seeing how this society worked, and trying to fill in the missing pieces of how it fell apart.
When did you play Bioshock 1. Because that doesn't sound like the opionion of someone that played it when it first came out.
I played most of it like 2 days after it came out, so it isn't like I was expecting a big blockbuster game like we have today. I just found it to be less then stellar compared to people saying it was one of the best games of all time.

I liked it a lot, found it to be fairly original with the weapons and attack options and the world was nice, but...something kept me from calling it an ATG.

This is coming from the guy who always get grilled about not loving to death Half Life though.

Maybe YOU don't, but I'm somebody will comment without being a douche about it. I don't like the Vs forums, guys are way too strong in their opinions there; will argue to death about it...boring

It was just a passing thought, why does everyone jump all over me for everything? Because I wasn't an OTT contributor 5 years ago or...what? Seriously, people need to grow up just a little bit

I do nothing wrong, some of you just like to try and drive me out of the thread for reasons unknown. Yes, my posts in the OTT are worse then the pic of the fat guy that somebody posted earlier.

I didnt like Half-Life either.

Bioshock was great for 2 reasons...The location/atmosphere and 'Would you Kindly'. I really dont like FPS, but I did play that one to the end as well as Bioshock 2.

And Im looking forward to the new one coming out.

I anticipate the new one as well. I am interested to see where they take it and how they keep it original.

Personally though, my next purchase will probably be Guild Wars 2 followed by multiple chiropractor sessions due to a hunched over back from sitting in the chair.

I think GW2 is going to be a lot like The Old Republic is...Great at the start, reach the Level Cap, then have nothing to do for 6 months.

I really wanted to like TOR, but as all my friends left to go back to WoW (which I am still playing as well) it got dull really fast. Now Im waiting for my time to lapse.

Anyone else watching AGT? I'm in love with Olivia (the singer that Howard asks if the guitar guy loves).

I just remember it being something special at the time it came out. Most console games didn't have the story and atmosphere and air of mystery (or hype) that game did when it first came out. Hell it even got me to read Ayn Rand!

At least there's no monthly fee. So far it plays like a single player MMO: The main areas are open to all players and focus heavily on public quests. The main storyline is more a personal tale that takes place in heavily npc populated areas. I quite enjoy the direction it went, but I've always hated how MMOs play.

We'll have to see, but I'm sure there will be expansion packs out within 8 months of the release and that alone will add value. I'm not a big fan of adding content through 100 expansion packs, but GW was a very well done game and most importantly F2P.

If it wasn't free I don't think people would give it any credit but since it is, you're saving a lot of money over the life of that game compared to typical MMOs.

You mean to tell me it's not? I already bought my tickets...

I think I'm going to buy the new PS3 this weekend that I've been talking about for 2 months.
I REALLY think I need to upgrade some cooling in my PC. This is a screen cap of SpeedFan after playing Deus Ex: HR at full spec for about 10 mins
That seems to be within the operating limits (albeit on the high side), although more cooling never hurt anything. You should try Diablo 3...it will literally get so hot it will shut your computer down in under 5 minutes. It's the only game that does it to me. Blizzard effed the game up with the last patch. Of course, they have yet to admit it and it does not happen to everyone so YMMV.

Will do. And my reward for moving is a trip to Five Guys :whee:

How comes every picture of Five Guys burgers are double cheeseburgers? Are the patties small so you almost need to have a double cheeseburger to fill up .. like at McDonalds?

Hardly. In fact, I usually like getting a single burger so there is room for all my toppings.

Five Guys sounds good right about now.

5 guys pisses me off. First time I went there with my fiancé we got double cheeseburgers with bacon and split a regular fry. We left hungry.

We went again recently and wanted the same thing but asked for a large fry. The guy insisted it would be too much food and told us to get a regular. Once again, left hungry.

I've only been to Five Guys twice, but I don't know how anybody could leave hungry unless you were so famished you haven't eaten all day or something. I've finished both meals with just a regular cheeseburger and fry, and both times I felt stuffed and wished I didn't eat it all.

A large fry should be enough for two people. But the regular cheeseburgers (which are a double) usually aren't big enough for me. (And I just weight 165, btw)

Even the Double Baconator I got from Wendy's on Tuesday wasn't quite enough.

I remember when Hardees had their 1/3 lb Thickburger. You could get that in a Triple.
Now that was a burger.

Actually, I've sat and played Diablo 3 for six straight hours a few weeks back and it did the same thing. Nothing stopped or grinded to a halt on my system tho, stayed a lil higher than the temps I just posted. I'd heard that the patch nerfed a lot of stuff. One of my best friends rage deleted the entire game because of it and refuses to go back to it. I myself have a lvl11 Monk, and have only gotten as far as beating the Skeleton King
