The Department of the Army is a bunch of idiots. They said my application was ineligible since I didn't disclose my desired locations on my application (but I cleary did). So I had to email them to reconsider my application.
 
No idea what kind of discount big companies get, Jimbo. Cost for UPS Stores is about 50% of retail on air and 30% on ground, but for someone who's shipping massive quantities, it can easily be 80%/60%.

That was just dumb speculation, JJSP. Engadget got one in and confirmed the drive, although you can't install Linux anymore.

The thought of downloading PS3 patches everytime I put a game in the Slim scares me.

If you can do a system backup/restore across the units, it would probably work so you wouldn't have to re-d/l.
