Here. In Japan, a Dragon Quest release is a holiday.
That was sarcasm to make fun of asking if DQ is a popular series.

They've done well here with the one game that was given much publicity before IX, as DQ8 sold about 500k in the US compared to 5.5 million in Japan.

You should check out A Prophet if you liked Gomorrah.
Wow, how did I miss deathspank?

Mojimbo, is this something our group should be looking at?
That game looks pretty good aside from the "humor." I'd be cool with paying $3 for it.

Got an early .pdf copy of one of my favorite author tao lin's second novel 'richad yates' in the mail today.
pretty sure no one here in the OTT cares but i feel stimulated.

The Mana Knight, The Mana Knight, The Mana Knight!

You should slap skins with that girl that commented on your latest Facebook post. I would. ;x

I have a bad habit of buying things I have never seen. So, I haven't seen Gomorrah yet.

Looks really good, though. So does Hunger. I can really only afford one of them, though, since I bought the Nikkatsu Noir set.
Gomorrah was fantastic. Worth the blind buy in my opinion.
Definitely. I would watch it twice though, I think it was a bit much to take in at first, but I got so much more after I watched it a second time.
I don't want to watch the fucking All Star Game but like every year I end up anyways.
Just change the channel man.

Speaking of man, where is manthing?

Ahh I will just sit here pickin on the old six string and glance at it every so often.
Topping off a keg of Milwaukee's Best.
Nice. My dad was at a wedding reception and they had Pabst Blue Ribbon on tap.

Well in that case, the game as background noise, continue. I think I'll skip the game and attempt to watch Daybreakers, without scaring the shit out of my 2 yr old.

I was pretty sad when I saw Daybreakers in theaters by myself. I sunk real low in my seat and put my hoodie over my head when more people started walking in. That movie was pretty crappy, but a better vampire movie than Twilight!
you guys are facebook friends with TMK? wut?
Yes. I'm friends with Strell and dallow, too.

Looks like I'm not watching it. I need to see if my blu ray needs a firmware upgrade or not. If Shutter Island doesn't work, then I guess I'll hunt for firmware.

Here's mine. Find me if you can.
Damn it. B&N nixed the coupons on the Criterion sale.
fuck.

Are some of the films on that Criterion Blu-Ray page on BN.com not actually Criterion releases? It doesn't look like Traffic or Do the Right Thing (amongst a few others) have the Criterion logos, and I never heard anything about Criterion releasing those on Blu-Ray.

It's a shame, because I would pick those Criterions up in a heartbeat.
I was friends with LP but the douche removed me from his friends list a couple of months later.
Don't worry, you're not missing anything. :/

I wanted to watch Hell's Kitchen, but nooooooo.
I hate not being able to finish shows I like and only see half of the season.
It's a shame, because I would pick those Criterions up in a heartbeat.
Why? Do the Right Thing looks great, has the old extras plus new ones in HD and Amazon has put it on sale for close to $10.
