The "X got his jaw busted by an obese black woman" OTT
Dang, you talk more about your lil bro and sis than your kid, LP.
Well, I figured the OTT is not the place to discuss baby talk.

Do you really want to hear about me changing diapers, how much formula is, when my son started crawling, walking...etc.?

I'd like to hear about that stuff, Linkin. PM me your bullshit whenever you have problems or somethin' with him so it'll keep me in the right mind set of not having a kid anytime soon. ^__^
Hey, you stupid $$$$$$, did you try the HDMI, PC-TV thing?
Fo sho, my little nig-nog.

It worked, but I'm just gonna use TVersity until my other HDMI cable comes in. Shit was too tight of a fit with the current one I have now since its like 4 feet. Got to check out The Orphanage and There Will Be Blood though and shit looked great.

Thanks for helping. : )

darthbudge - the only things I see are Sango 2 (what the fuck?) and LEGO Indy Jonze.
Temp, did you do any extra curricular activities in college? Was your GPA any good?
I was on the college paper for two years and my GPA was a 3.6.
I was on the college paper for two years and my GPA was a 3.6.
3.6 is pretty good. Any scholarships? I'm just thinking of important things to beef it up.
I did, but it was just data entry.
Alright, the GPA and college paper might be good to put in there. Also, for your addition skills, make bullets and use a short sentence ie: Experience using Microsoft Office product, Basic webdesign using HTML, etc.
3.6 is pretty good. Any scholarships? I'm just thinking of important things to beef it up.
A couple scholarships, but they weren't for very much, and I think I spent the checks on a surround sound system.

Does my resume need beefing? It had more before, but I slimmed it down because I thought it was too wordy.

Maybe my problem is that I don't have enough experience? I apply to mostly low level positions, but I don't know. Maybe i'll just suck it up and be a secretary.

Will do. Thanks.

Anything else?

Your job parts seem good to me, I just think if you did well in college it's worth a mention.

I even have my high school ranking on mine.
Just bought Atlas Shrugged. :whee:
I got my copy free from The Ayn Rand Institute. They just randomly mailed it to me one summer. I was forced to enter an essay contest and had to send them all my info and stuff.

I don't get this truth show on Fox. You might as well ALWAYS tell the truth, because if you lie, you lose, and everyone knows you were lying.
I, for one, find that very interesting, LinkinPrime.

How old is your kid anyway? 12?
10 months actually. Just started walking...not fully, he still drops down and crawls when he wants to move faster.

----

Well my relisted R6V2 sold for $26...lost almost $10 from last week, and now I can't even leave negative feedback to that other retard...sigh. On a happier note, my Harry Potter HD DVD boxset sold for $63!

Well your resume looked fine, for journalism. However, I agree that it is quite lacking in most other areas. Not that I would be better or anything though.
Just bought Atlas Shrugged. :whee:

I'm thinking of getting Cormac McCarthy's Border Trilogy while I'm at it.
Nice.

I should check out Cormac McCarthy.

I don't own Atlas Shrugged, but I got my free copies of The Fountainhead and Anthem from Darque Tan.

That's what I thought when I saw it too.

But usually people lose on ambiguous questions like "When you worked as a personal trainer, did the women find you attractive on Wednesdays?"
Will do. Thanks.

Anything else?
Maybe add an objective at the top so show that you have some idea of what area of journalism you want to focus your career in.

Objective: To replace Tim Russert and live past age 58.
Well your resume looked fine, for journalism. However, I agree that it is quite lacking in most other areas. Not that I would be better or anything though.
While i'm not completely for the idea of taking resume advice from a 14-year-old, i'm open to anything at this point. What do you mean exactly when you say "lacking in most other areas"?

Not enough Watchtower references.

15 and I didn't really have any advice, because I have never written up a resume before. What I meant was, that resume looks pretty good if you are applying for journalism jobs, but for all other jobs, it doesn't look as impressive.

EDIT: Shut Up Banky.

I think he's saying that it's not very diverse, temp. You have one real skill set, which is relevant for your field, but it appears that you can't do much else.

edit: spot on.

Note: this has nothing to do with my opinion. I know nothing about journalism or what is wanted for journalism employees.

I thought about having an objective, but what if I apply for a non-journalism job? For instance, lets say I was applying for a PR job. Does that mean i'd have to change my objective for every type of job I apply to?
Nice.

I should check out Cormac McCarthy.
Definitely. You should trick Wubb into sending you The Road. I'd send mine, but I have three people lined up to borrow it.
Not enough Watchtower references.

Just apply at the local WalMart Mcdonalds store and get it over with.

(I actually need to apply for a job when I get back from PA. I'll probably try Gamestop and Target since they're both in my backyard).

And therein lies the problem. How does one acquire more than one skill set?

fuck. I knew I should have minored in something...
How was the PR gig? Trying to get into PR or advertising myself.
It was pretty good. The only bad part was knowing that your job was to deceive the public 75% of the time.

The money is great though.

Eh, you could always try grad school?
