I have to go to the front page every day, due to having to use 'cheapyd.com' to get here.:whistle2:#

You can still bookmark a forum URL even if you are using cheapyd.com :???:

Hey, I'll actually play MGS4 punk!
I'll also think it's very pretty.

I couldn't even say "ooh, that's pretty" for GTAIV. :(
Motorstorm won't get you more than 10 bucks, budge. I think its like, 7 bucks + the bonus + EDGE.

You're gonna be gameless, mang, just wait it out until next week when your mama pays you back. :whistle2:|
Nah man, I secured my money. I am just trying to trade in a bunch of games I don't want so that I can get an LE version of it.

I was thinking of trading in:

Motorstorm ($7)
King Kong ($2?)

So $7 + $2 + 30% (Trading towards MGS4 and my edge card) + $10 Bonus = $21.70

PDZ:LE ($1? $2?)
Amped 3 ($3?)

$2 + $3 + 30% + $10 = $16.50

The Devil's Rejects (Blu-Ray) ($6?)

6 + 50% (Gonna try and get that coupon to work) = $9

So $21.70 + $16.50 + $9 = $47.20

That is pretty good for games I don't want.

I'm helping out with some other work today so I'm working in a large conference room for the next week and a half in the mornings.

All by myself. :(

I have a stereo and food though.
And it's nice and quiet.

Also, I feel important by sitting at the head of the long table.

Sure, but I don't use bookmarks at work.

And are you gonna give budgie more than $17 paypal for Kong and PDZ? Hell no, so let budge sell em to EB.
The Incredible Hulk reviews sound disappointing.
I'm guessing cause A) It's boring B) the CG is terrible and overused.
David Abrams has some money video editing skills!

Wombat looks like hes about to touch some young kids. :whistle2:|
Well Wombot did tell Trixie at a Microsoft event that he was there for the kids.
I PM'ed you Wubb, but I am leaving so respond quickly.
Budge needs to go witness Jehova. :whee:

From what I gather, it's a mindless action-fest with boo boo CG.

You heard him Wubb. Get to it!

EDIT: Too late. :nottalking:

I PMed ya back budge but I guess you left.

I have a feeling I won't do better than you can with that $10 bonus however. Especially when you take in to account the shipping cost.

Hell if they give a $10 bonus on low value games like that I guess it's not a bad deal really.

You can't stack promos, budge.

Also, GS stopped taking Blu-Gay/DVD trade ins months ago.

PDZ is only one buck, so they might exclude it. Amped 3 is 2.50, I think.
Frosty, you get to Target yesterday for NG2?
Nah, once I heard the explanation, I knew it wouldn't work for me. Assmonkeys around here wouldn't take "printed" coupons. So it'd be $40 a piece for the 2 games after I returned Mass Effect and that wouldn't be enough of a discount for my cheap ass.

Thanks for the explanation though -- it was clear. If I had any chance of the local target honoring the coupons, I would have tried it.

Nice a baking pan that always gives you an edge piece brownie.

Viva Pinata ain't my type of game...It's going to EB tonight! Along with a bunch of other stuff:

PDZ, Table Tennis, a free COD2, and some other stuff I can't remember now.

I'm also gonna trade in Mario 64 and Custom Robo Arena, as I have other copies of those

As soon as I finish off the last race I have left in Burnout Revenge, I'll be taking that and a few other games I'm done with to pay off the rest of my MGS4 LE and maybe get something else, too.

Ha.

But I like the center of brownies.

Lasagna - I can go for an edge piece.

I'll take PDZ and Viva Pinata if you are selling cheap. :D

Hmm, people selling GTAIV for $50 on CL.
I'll just undercut by $5 and be on my way.

How much is the MGS4LE? 85?
I have 10 down on it already. hmm.

Lots of patience.
I taught a girl to drive manual.
It's just that neutral to first that's tricky.

I was proud when she bought herself a manual car a few years later and called me out of the blue to thank me. (we didn't keep in contact)

Beat the $18 or so I'll get in credit from EB and they're yours

PDZ is worth so little that I don't think I can beat that. If they are excluded from the $10 bonus get back to me.

Yeah this is somebody that I've tried to teach in the past and it didn't go well. It's tough when the person doesn't really want to learn it. I learned in 2 hours but I was highly motivated. Dad bought me my first car and it was a stick shift. Said "Come on let's drive over to a parking lot and I'll teach you how to drive it."
Wubb, how long does it take to 1000/1000 Cars?
Wasn't that long. Maybe 6 hours? It's been a while so I can't remember for sure.

There is one cheesemint where you have to find a ton of stuff all over the world and I suggest using a guide for that or you'll end up spening 40+ hours tracking it all down.
Does anybody know how to teach somebody to drive shift stick? :???:
It's not that hard. Flat empty parking lot. Have them familiarize themselves with the gearshift pattern first. Hold the clutch in and shift to all of them, get used to getting in and out of gear. Then have them put it in first and let the clutch up as slow as they can to feel the grab. You can also teach them to start in 2nd until they get used to the grab point.

That's really the crux of it all... getting used to the feeling of the clutch 'grabbing' so you know when to start giving it gas. That and knowing where your gears are.

I had a bunch of friends teach me on spring break -- it was rough going, because they didn't really explain the grab point to me very well.
A year or so later, a friend let me drive around the parking lot of the townhouses... still didn't really get it.
A few years after, I bought a 5-speed BMW. Had to test-drive it -- the owner explained it right and i got it... the rest was just practice. After the drive home and the drive to get it inspected, it was almost 2nd nature.
What is that smiley?
I thought it was "use your head" when something is obvious or something.
It's three question marks ??? and I always took it to mean confused.

I'm gonna print this out and explain it myself plus read your explanation.

Any less silly than this:

I don't get this hubub about the Star Wars characters in SC4. It's not like it's never happened before:roll:

What I'd worry about is if it's gonna be as shitty as SC3. I got it for ~$2 through an overstock.com glitch and still feel I overpaid

Man, I'm so pissed I missed Gladiators last night, penguino! I wanted to watch cheesy green titan smash people and spout hulk influenced nonsense!

How long do new shows take to show up on the internet, for those familiar with this sort of thing?
