I don't think I'd leave games in my 360 if it were to be standing up.

I don't think it scratches it while powering on or off.
Well, you know intarweb forums...I've heard so much about 360s scratching grooves into games, etc. Didn't want to take any chances.
Logically, it could only scratch it if it was moving, so unless yours keeps spinning after you turn it off, I think you're ok. There's always a game sitting in my 360.

Alright, since the helpful bunch is on duty tonight, I just finished the mission in Eye Vee where you choose to kill
Dwayne
or
Playboy X
and I think I'm just past the 15-16 hour mark. On track for Liberty City Minute or should I just slow down and forget about it now?
Keeping the game in your console will give it HIV.
That's only true in your case because you gave your console HIV first :hot:

"Conflicting images in R. Kelly child porn case"

I dunno, him pissing on a girl seems pretty straight forward to me.

If Kelly gets off on the laughable defense his attorneys have brought forward, that Jury's stupid.

My xbox has had 53 partners on live. And that's regular friends, not all the strangers its been with. It coulda picked up the HIV anywhere.

And I always wear a rubber. Never know when it could be lying about birth control.

If you don't want to get peed on, get out of the way!

Fantastic. I started my new job today, and it looks like I won't have computer access for a while, possibly up to two weeks. This is going to make it difficult to...y'know, work.

So that's how the Red Ring of Death happens.

You has job? I wants new one.

It's just for the summer, unfortunately; I'm going to have to go back to college, and more than likely to my lousy dishwashing job. That job blows, but it also pays nine bucks an hour and it's manual labor that usually isn't too terrible, so it could be worse.

Nice...

Took back Mass Effect today, effectively making both RSV2 and NG2 $20 each.

Found another copy of COD2 for free after coupon...

Damn, I'm gonna miss that $10 coupon...

I'm about ready to toss work aside, finally finish my Master's, and do some community college teaching to pay the bills. The academic life is far more suitable to me than whatever life I may be said to be currently inhabiting.

I'm almost tempted to keep going after I get my bachelor's degree, but I don't think my grades are high enough to get into Michigan's grad school and I'm going to need to pay off those loans eventually. I'm probably going to start working, and maybe go back for the master's in a few years, hopefully with some company paying for it for me. :)

My grades aren't stellar and I don't have time for extracurriculars, but I do work while I'm taking 17 credit semesters and pulling a three-point, I'm taking German (languages aren't required at all in our engineering curriculum), and I'm going to have a pretty solid internship under my belt the next time the career fairs roll around. For engineering, I think I'm doing alright.

I got my project for my summer intership, Walrus: I have to derive an equation that will give me the average density of a centrifugally cast cylinder at a given radius. I have to pass it like 10 variables (densities of the various metals used in the cast, viscosities of the molten metals, angular velocity of the cast, temperature of the cast, temperature of the molten soup, etc). It's going to be super tough.

fucking nerd

Walrus knows what's up.

I have no idea how I'm going to do it. It's going to be so complicated.
I'll be sure to post the final equation when I've got it, and a graph comparing how it matches up with experiment though.

You'll never guess what it's for:
Rail gun for the Navy with a theoretical range of 500 km.

Thank you californian rolling blackouts, now only half the power works in the house and the GODDAMN transformer blew up again!

fucken everyone with their AC on.
Better than the first, hm?
Yeah, it at least doesn't attempt to rewrite the entire series' backstory over again.

I liked the 2nd futurama movie. Though I've noticed one thing about these movies, they seem have multiple stories going on in each movie. They're planning to chop them up into individual episodes for comedy central, thats probably why.
