the missus' laptop died unexpectedly last night. That means I may actually have to talk to her on a semi-regular basis.

Picked up the MGS digital comic kajigger and just put it on the shelf for another day. I want to start Condemned 2 again, but things haven't been coming up 360 lately.

UNC looks tough but if it's a pool with a lot of people I'd go with something less popular to give yourself a good chance of winning it all if your pick takes it. That's my strategy anyway. Also don't pick the local teams to overachieve. Many will and that should also give you a slight advantage over the pack.

I might do a bracket where I pick the school with the lower graduation rate to win each round.

I'm thinking West Virginia...just a hunch, but I'll probably pick Texas because the final four is in San Antonio.
 
Meh, I don't think I can do the inverse graduation rate thing. That has 2 16 seeds winning in the first round. I guess I'll have to pick based on my limited knowledge of any team outside the ACC and probably end up doing slightly worse. :lol:

Quick Ebay Question.

I sold a copy of Killzone Liberation to some guy on ebay, and he is claiming that the UMD was out of the case and not in the case.
I sold it as new, and the game was sealed when it left me.
I have a tracking number on the item.

What shall I say to him.

I say my 'hey y'all' in his voice and can do a pretty good impression of him.

I'll jump into his voice and just start talking about anything.
Like in the car or something I'll say to the person with me:
"Oh hello Mr. Red Car. Oh, no. Go right on and scooch on in. It's alright. I'm just on my way home and want to enjoy the sunshine, a couple extra minute won't hurt me none."
 
Is he saying there was no game in it at all or that the game was loose and therefore maybe scratched up? I'm guessing the former.

That's a tough one. If my gut told me the guy was being truthful I'd probably offer to refund him once he sent back what he got. But you could reply with something like "I'm very sorry to hear that but I sold the game to you as new/sealed and a problem like this would need to be taken up with the game publisher by you."

Be prepared for him getting POed and filing neg FB. Not sure how PayPal would rule if he disputes as SNAD and he could potentially get his money back direct from his credit card company as well.

But if your gut tells you he's pulling a fast one I wouldn't back down.

I sent the game out sealed and new, and he is saying that the game is opened and there is no UMD.

On the Tracking Site it has no mention of anything being tampered with or opened.

I just responded to him saying that I'm sorry the game was in that condition but I shipped out a new game, and if you opened the game to find no UMD then you need to take it up with the publisher.
I also asked him to take a picture of everything as it arrived.
 
Ah, so he's claiming that not only was the game not in there but it was also not new and sealed? Yeah that would definitely set off my BS alarm.

Wubb, if it's the soft male, effete voice, that's probably it. I think the Pastor in Family guy is the main one with the voice.
