Aww man, I've been disabled in bitmetv. I wanted to try that F Word show that zew and jimmie were talking about.

And the one reason I know the ms press conference wont be as good as last years is cause Jeff Bell won't be there. "Yo dog .. that play action fake was tight. You are the man."
 
I wonder if MS will show off their motion controller.

Thats a horrible idea. They are fracturing a nearly 30m strong install base + the development community. Thats the kind of mistake that has brought down lesser companies.

1:1 response doesnt even matter, because there is no 1:1 feedback on the gameplay side, and there really cant be. If you swing a sword and you hit something, you can keep swinging on the player side, but not the game side.

Project Hammer was canceled a LONG time ago.

And there's more to it than just swinging a sword.
Too bad this is coming out after those arcade shooters were released.
 
Also today are the reveals of whatever big news from Harmonix concerning RB.
And what the Bioshock PS3 extras are. Better not just be trophy crap.
 
Hmm. Too Human demo was pretty good.
Graphics are average.
Yeah, the controls were pretty wonky at first, but when you have dudes up in the air doing DMC-esque combos, it's pretty sweet.

Ok, so here is the run down.

The laser moves fine, it still appears to be functioning and all. However, the disc seems to wobble some, and I think that is what is causing the problem. I want to try it again with the console mostly put together, however I forgot how something goes in.

On the top of the PS2 DVD case, there is this white plastic piece, then inside of it there is this little circular magnet and a smaller circular piece of metal.

Does the side with the magnet go down towards the DVD drive? That is what seems obvious, however, I can't get the white plastic thing back in it's place that way, however, it seems to go in real easy the other way.

I wish I could find some Hi-Res pictures of this...
 
That white plastic piece is just there for pressure/holding the disc in spot. I don't remember it being locked in place sincey ou could poke it and move it around a bit.

Yeah, but which sides goes the down towards the DVD drive, the one that is just plastic or the one that has the little metal piece in there?

All I have to do is wash my face once a day with the medicine, and then come into the office every 3 weeks. Pretty easy $300 if you ask me.
