Wait, it really is your Birthday?
Yeah, his birthday is totally in mid-October, so I'm inclined to believe it. :lol:

Just had my phone interview with Lexmark. It was with two guys and they had me on speaker phone. I hate fucking speaker phone...I am sure I sounded like a bumbling idiot through that damn thing.

I hope I said everything they wanted to hear. Now I have sit here and fucking wait.

Happy Birthday Mak, many happy returns...

Thanks again everyone. I'm going to celebrate by playing Halo Reach, taking some Rx, and gettin my cake on.
Wait, it really is your Birthday?
Sho nuff. And by the counts of it, I think I'm 1,323 years old today.
Just for Mak's Birthday: Free spicy nuggets at CFA! Tell them "I can take the heat" for your free 8pc (where available)! :whee:
Bastard! CA is not in the testing market this time around...but we did get the Spicy Chicken Sandwich first so I can't complain too much.
MOH is a gun lover's wet dream.
I think you're the first person that I've heard that likes the game. If that comment means you actually like the game.
Make dinner (dumplings, rice, veggies) or buy dinner?
Make it. That sounds pretty good.

Plus, if I have to make dinner tonight, then so do you.
I think you're the first person that I've heard that likes the game. If that comment means you actually like the game.
I won't say that I like it but I also won't say that I don't like it. It's an ok game. Any love I have for the game stems from the wide variety of guns that it lets you play around with. Other than that, it's pretty mediocre.
Is it a prequel? I thought it was a remake.

I'm afraid to even watch the preview...
It's a prequel. It's focuses on what happened at the Norwegian base that led to the events in the 1982 Thing.

Hmmmm...ok...so it's not as bad as I had feared. I guess I can check out the preview.
how fast can you run a mile? i mean i guess 12 minutes is me just jogging.
Currently? Ten minutes. Not super impressive, but I'm working on it.

Ok, I just watched it. Two things concern me:

1. Does this film take place in the same time period that would fit into The Thing timeline? That didn't look like 1982.
2. Will the actor's be playing Norwegians? It was hard to tell but it seemed like they were speaking English with American accents.
3. I'm very afraid that this movie is going to be a CG shitfest.

That being said...I'll still watch it...only because I'm a glutten for punishment.

1. It is the same timeline. I saw still photos on set and they had the same snow mobiles and helicopters like in the original film. Eventually the ending of the 2011 film will lead into the 1982 film with
the Norwegian guys in the copter chasing the infected dog.

2. They are all Norwegians in the base. As far as I know the 2 main characters are the only Americans on the base (dont know the guy but I know the girl is Mary Elizabeth Winstead :drool:).

3. Yeah, I'm hoping the CG doesnt take away from the film.

The latest South Park was fucking amazing.

~~~
I have been racking my brain trying to remember the name of an awesome old kid's game show during the early 90's. I believe it was on Nickelodeon but for the life of me I can't remember.
All the different events were held outside and there were different teams with different colored shirts (i.e. blue, red, green, etc.).
What was the name of the show?
GUTS? Legend of Hidden Temple?
No, I remember them easily.
It was always outside. I remember one game was a real life space invaders game where a person stood above a board of people dropping water balloons.
Wild and Crazy Kids?
fuck yeah that was it. Thanks.
I also completely forgot about Carmen San Diego, Double Dare, and NICK Arcade...
I wanted to be on all those shows so much as a kid.
Damn...did Amazon increase their commission on the marketplace :shock:
Buyer's price: $48.00
Amazon commission: -$9.54
Shipping credit: $3.99
Your earnings: $42.45
Ah well, its still profit from what I paid.
Really? It mostly just reminds me how much live studio audiences suck ass.
Anyone want a PSN standard def rental of that new shitty Clash of the Titans movie?
