yes, they fucking played Wings for Marie/10,000 days for the first time live!!! Maynard left the stage during wings for marie, probably because of all the emotion. I thought he wasn't going to come back on the stage, but a minute later he walked back on and didn't miss a beat. pure fucking beauty. 10,000 days is god damn amazing live especially with the visuals they had.

That's awesome. I still think that Wings for Marie/10,000 days is the best piece of music Tool has ever made. God, the first time I heard the part that goes "fetch me the spirit, the son, and the father . . ." I got chills up my spine. I still do. And the bass underneath that is incredible. In fact, I love the how up front the bass is on the entire album. 10,000 Days isn't my favorite Tool album, but I'll be damned if some of my favorite moments aren't on it.

Just returned from Phoenix, the show was good, it could have been great but was ruined by one jackass. Some fucker through a water bottle and hit Maynard during The Pot. He got pissed, threw his mic stand down, and stormed on stage. The band kept playing, finished The Pot without any vocals, and then went right into 46 & 2. Maynard came back out, but just stood there, he didn't sing again until the very end of 46 & 2. To top it off, he was sick and you could hear it in his vocals.

We had a pretty short set, only 10 songs, this may have been because he was sick. Ænima was the 8th song, and I thought they were finished, but they sat on stage for a bit and then did Wings for Marie/10,000 days. What an amazing song live! And last but not least, the visuals during Lateralus were great!

I guess this is a little late, but Friday's show here was great. Not quite as good as the last one in May, due too the larger arena and distance from the stage (we were right up front on the floor last time, 3rd row seated this time) but still very good. And my hearing was mostly back after one day, not the 3+ days it took before.

Here's a short review of the show with set list.

I probably shouldn't bump this, but fuck it. New tour stuff popping up:
