Twilight Princess HD Amiibo edition up again on Best Buy

Got mines from AZ nicely packaged. Not a bad looking Amiibo if i do say so myself. Also got my Prime discount from this as well.

 
Outerbox is really nice. Excited to play this after being hyped for 5+ years prior to release, waiting outside to get it launch day and never playing it  :D/

Well that's strange, my package went state hopping overnight but still manages to return and be out for delivery today.

 
Picked up my copy from GameStop. Asked the clerk about the preorder CD. He forgot about them and went to the back to get them. Came back with a bunch of unmarked cardboard boxes, about the size of a double disk jewel case. He put one in my bag and we chatted a bit about yesterday's Nintendo direct. Got home and opened the box, there's 5 copies of the soundtrack inside (20 tracks for those that are curious). Called him to tell him about it, he said to not worry about it since he had more than needed for preorders. Just checked eBay, looks like they'll pay for my TP and then some.

Hilarously, they had a few Mega Man CE's that were returned due to damage in those nice non-damaging clear plastic cases.  Already damaged? Put it in the safe plastic. Not damaged yet? Let's strangle the shit out of it!

 
Is this the same OST that came with the Master Replicas master sword set from Target years ago? If so, I still have that one and don't have to bother with GS

Mine turned out alright. It's the seal on the box that pissed me off.

 
When to best buy they only had the plastic cases with a picture of the LOZTP game on the shelf. The actual games were in the metal cage so I was able to get mine undamaged.
 
Got mine from amazon today in perfect condition. No receiver makes me a sad penguin though. One of the few games I actually wanted to play at release.

 
My Best Buy had a few copies out on the shelf today, no spider wrap. That picture does make me cringe though. I ordered through Amazon and arrived in perfect shape.
 
in other news my shipped copy from BB is basically perfect.  Arrived in a well fitting box with an air pack.

Most people around my area won't buy something if it's slightly damage without a 30%+ discount

BB is awful when it comes to damage boxes here, seems like they just toss them onto the floor.

I saw tons of damaged boxes on the sakes and behind counter when i went to pick mine up. Then they bring be mine in those hard plastic security boxes. Box was mint. Mine was the only one like that. The best part was my pickup sticker wasn't stuck to my box.

These will be long sold before any price discounts. Also in BBs eyes these aren't damaged they're protected. Just because cardboard is creased doesn't warrant a discount. It's a video game and plastic toy not something designed to be put on display and look nice. Now if you were buying this from an art gallery I agree it shouldn't look like this.

 
My amazon one arrived last night and the packing box was in mint condition and when I open it the whole side of the game package is caved in and the front of box is all scratched up. Glad I just bought this to play and it wasn't something for my collection.

 
Man I ordered one of these a long time ago and forgot about it and it showed up earlier. I don't want it. If anyone wants one but doesn't have GCU, I'll sell it at the GCU price. Not looking to make a profit or anything.

 
How much would I be able to sell the figure and package for? I just want the game lol.

To be fair, at my best buy none of the plastic boxes fit this fat edition box. I tried all of them. So i only put one on the floor and hope that people are smart enough to ask if we have any in the back (we do) because i hate crushing the box with the spider wrap. All the preorders were behind the counter so i made sure they were safe from the jaws of spider wraps.

We just need glass doors.

That packaging .... I can so see myself buying this on impulse at a store. Nintendo sure knows how to design a box.

 
It's so pretty in person. I think it's the same size as my Majora's Mask LE game too. I ended up buying it because I will be getting $15 off my next Meijer trip thanks to the $10 coupon when you buy the game and a $5 Mperks coupon for spending more than $50 in electronics.

I decided to hold off on buying this till it comes down in price, shouldn't be long since the console is going to be replaced this year.  Queue the Nintendo fan's "Nintendo games don't come down in price" chorus.  Sorry guys but they have on the Wii U.  A lot. 

Nintendo is the only company that charges this much for their re-releases of old games.  It feels a bit like a rip-off when it's almost standard these days to charge $30 for a re-release.  Not to mention other packages like Halo or Uncharted that pack in a lot of games.

Although, we probably won't be getting it in NA until next year, so if there is a price drop soon, it probably wouldn't be because of that.

I bought this because i never played TP very much bak on wii and i gotta say,  this version ha ssome very nice graphical updates,  exspecially on link.   The amibo is nice as well but i dont care about amibos but for $60 it was basically free IMO.  Gamepad aiming is nice as well.  If your on the fence i do recommend this.
