Ox Baker passed away.  He was 80 years old.  Master of the Heart Punch.  RIP.

I saw that The Price Is Right clip today. I wasn't familiar with him, but from the video, he seemed like a good guy. Pretty entertaining and charismatic.

THIS SHOW WAS fuckING UNBEARABLE until Foley saved it in the third hour by finally being able to put the Shield guys over. Granted, he couldn't do it in the ring, but he brought whatever A game he's got left to make these guys seem like the future of the company. Santa getup hurt it though - WWE's paying him and should've prevented that from making air even if it did allow Vince to get his jollies by having JBL bury him for it.  Main event wasn't much until the finishing sequence - LOLed at Orton cursing due to the table and landing a nice RKO after the rebound lariat. The post-match curb stomp to Orton gave away the main event finishes, and rendered the whole show effectively meaningless in the process, but it should be a fun show.

thought champs had to defend their title every 30 days. So why isnt brock stripped since he has no match for this ppv
Brock Lesnar is perfectly capable of competing and he would be medically cleared to do so, but he just doesn't feel like it. He has to go prance with ponies on that particular Sunday so it's all good.

Cesaro-Dolph is over the IC Title - by definition, it's meaningless given how WWE has booked that champion for at least half a decade.

TNA redefined running in place with a turtle-esque trot tonight. They had a tag tourney that furthered very little and had EY teaming with Spud, who alternated between being on the roster when EC3 talked about him, to off the roster when Spud talked about himself, then on the roster when EY talked about him before the match, then off of it when Tenay was confused, then back on the roster when he came out. EY and Spud against EC3 and Tyrus MAIN EVENTED the show - luckily, it was sponsored by Five Hour Energy and not a site shilling porno or sex toys at a slight discount when you enter a promo code. They started trying to get EY over off of Bryan, and are now talking about the I'M WITH SPUD movement. I'm part of it because A - he's awesome and B - I have a cat named Spud. The Roode-Lashley contract signing over-delivered thanks to Roode and MVP delivering excellent promos - I'm looking forward to the show just for the main event.

Probably because the thread has barely had new posts from less than 10 people in the past few weeks, so why bother? I only even check it once or twice a week now as opposed to daily just a few months ago.

As much as I enjoyed the Warrior when I was younger, isn't it time we put this thread to rest?
I was actually just thinking about this earlier today. While I agree that what the thread title is is essentially meaningless I think I'll go ahead and start a new thread with a general topic title. The different thread titles were fun when we had a significantly higher number of people posting but I think a general topic title would be fine at this point. Plus it will eliminate the inevitable discussion of when a new thread should be started.

The two would throw verbal jabs each other’s way, eventually leading to a physical collision. It began when, out of nowhere, McMahon attempted a double leg takedown of Kingston. The two then proceeded to wrestle around for a bit.

Keep your hands where we can see them Pat...

I missed some of the opener due to some stream issues, but liked what I saw. Brie-Nikki was technically fine, but I don't care a lick about this feud now. Nikki's ass and rack though - on-point. Dust Bros-Usos was good, but nothing too memorable beyond Goldust having the most animated cover ever. Cena-Orton cell was boring at times, but a fine video game match with lots of spots you've seen done before, but being done well. Sheamus-Miz was okay, while Rusev-Show was very good. AJ-paige wasn't much, and they had some really and truly special with the cell match. It felt like a classic in the making...then the lights went off and we got something that also killed a Taker-Edge Cell match at the '08 Summerslam - goofy special effects bullshit. At least we know what Dean will be doing now - occupying an upper mid-card feud. Ugh.
