Figuired last thread was pretty fragmented and didn't have a Master List so i slapped one togethor.

Most of the credit goes to Kirin Lemon for pointing out how to use the kiosk in store to get these prices.

IN ORDER TO SEE THESE PRICES YOU MUST USE A KIOSK OR COMPUTER INSIDE BESTBUY!!!! Some of these prices will show up on the website normally but not all of em.

Some of the titles appear to be on sale and are around $1-3 cheaper then listed. I've marked those titles with the words ON SALE in bold next to price. No idea how long the sale will last. All the items on sale can be ordered from the website out of store at sale price.

I also added a few new items I found and they are marked with a NEW next to price. If I have time on friday I plan to browse store kiosk and check for some more. If anyone is going to a best buy today can you please check the On Sale items in store and see if the price is different from normal? If not i'll check em tomorow if i have time.

Unless you find an actual copy in your store, you won't be able to get it for $34.99 at the store kiosk!

Excel Saga: Imperfect Collection still shows on BestBuy.com. If you're finding problems locating certain anime, you could create a BestBuy.com wishlist at home. Once you login on the store kiosk, you will be able to load up the same wishlist and save you some time!
 
Bah, when will Kiddy Grade and/or Spiral go on clearance. I swear if it wasn't for the funimation network I would'nt bother w/these series.
 
Just ordered Last Exile, Excel Saga IMperfect Collection and Five Star Stories.

I'm pretty sure Last Exile appeared under the music heading when I searched for it.

All in all, a pretty spiff deal.
 
This is pretty much what the complete box looks like (obviously the other 6 dvds aren't shown...and the complete box doesn't come with the figurine or mouse pad :( )

It's not listed. That means it's not clearanced.

Yes it is but odds are your going to end up having to order most if not all that stuff from the instore Kiosk.
 
Also, the Chrono Crusade thinkpak has since disappeared from their website. So you're probably going to be out of luck on that one, unless your store actually has it on the shelf.

ye, but it's a pretty good price especially for some of the 6-dvd boxes i've ordered from there. Like..i believe when i ordered Excel Saga IMperfect collection S&H = $1.XX? MAYYBBEEEE $2.XX but i doubt it
 
These are clearance prices so they pretty much will be in effect until bestbuy's warehouses are completely sold out of their inventory.

The series has 50 episodes and Bandai will likely release 12 volumes in all. With the 6th voume coming out next week (2/6), the last volume probably won't be released until Feb. 2008.
 
Anyone willing to check the kiosk periodically to see if more titles are getting cleared? Just friendly curiosity. I would love to if only Caggers supplied a massive lists of desired titles so me or someone who actually has a vehicle can go and search them all at their local BB.
 
I suspect most of the finds are the result of a random search. I found the Last Exile boxset by chance that way.

3 down now I gotta find, Wild arms (if it really is 10.xx) Kaliedo star and Excel Saga not to mention Magic knight Rayearth seasons 1 and 2 (would rather pay 10 less not to have the box both come in) if anyone has them or seen them let me know I really want em

Don't forget you should be able to order em straight from their kiosk. Their shipping prices are pretty reasonable. Definitely worth the effort instead of paying for gas.

I thinkwe have all come to learn that to be a cag we all rather put a little energy effort than monetary effort.
I mean if we amass a list, one hour or so is how much a cag spends looking for deals anyway.
 
The Last Exile boxset is definitely worth it. Its the big nice box that comes with the figures and the full size DVD cases. A lovely piece of work that one...
I wish they would put more on clearance too. Thinpaks and collections preferably!

Really Excel Saga came up MORE then $17.99 which is listed? I'll pop in and double check on that one next time i'm in store. It would have been intresting to see what customer service said if you asked them about that.
 
My Last Exile set came in today. Beautiful. Thanks OP! This list has made me poorer, but happier.
 
BestBuy.com has been giving me some major grief lately.

First, they never shipped me Cromartie High Volume 4, so I had to call up customer service and order a re-shipment. Then, when I actually received the disc, the plastic "Push" tabs that held the DVD were broken and the disc was loose.

The Last Exile boxset I ordered was shipped to my apartment building office instead of to my actual apartment. I had to pick up the box 5 days later when I realized what had happened and had to wait for the office to open. The boxset itself is awesome, but my volume 2 has an inexplicable slash on the front cover. It's extremely noticeable and I don't even know how to explain it. Volume 5 has some small tears on the back cover and volume 6 does not close properly due to a broken pastic tab.

I need to call customer service again, this is ridiculous. Nonetheless, thank you Kirin Lemon for posting what is otherwise an excellent deal.
 
Well if the package for last exile was sealed its hardly bestbuy's fault they recieved it damaged. It must have been damaged while it was being manufactured.

True. My main beef with them is this whole shipping nonsense.
 
One of my Last Exile discs was loose in the box and is absolutely destroyed upon opening. Do I need to return the whole boxset to BB.com or take one volume into the store or what? Thoughts? I just want to get an idea before I call and show my cards.

If you you bought it as one boxset, then chances are you have to return all the discs of the boxset because you purchased that product. There'd be no way they can just replace one disc.

Yes. Upon doing a search at the Kiosk for Excel Saga, when listed with all the other Excel Saga DVD's it would come up as $17.99, but when I clicked on it, to view the item itself, the price doubled to like $35.xx Kaleido Star did the exact same thing.

I would have asked customer service but the losers at my BB just don't care. I'm sure they would have just said huh, I guess it's $35?? After placing my order for Last Exile, I tried to print my order, but the kiosk printer wouldn't work. I asked a blue shirt, he said just go to cust service and they will print it out. Now after waiting in the cust service line and explaining what I wanted, I finally got the register jockey to let me into his pc/register so i could go onto the BB website, login to my account and print a invoice. I wanted to be sure my order went through so i didn't have to come back to a kiosk to re-order.

EDIT: Just an update, I was at my local BB last night and I checked on the Excel Saga set again. Still coming up $17.99 then $34.99 when clicked on or added to cart.

I was just there yesterday, and it is now coming up $34.99 in the search as well as when you click on it.

Last exile is still holding at like $31.99 though. A frickin steal if you ask me. :drool: I still have it sealed along with the million other DVD's in my backlog.

May a bit dated but 2 weeks ago I was able to order ES:Imperfect Collection for $17.99. DVD SKU: 6649166

I will be at Bestbuy later this week and will see what it shows...
 
I did see Excel Imperfect collection for $17.99 @ bestbuy store (computer). So I don't have that price doubling problem.
 
Do all bestbuy stores have kiosks, because I have never seen one before. Or do you just mean go to the computer section and use a computer there to order it?

Oh, and is this still active? These deals and such?

I picked up a bundle of vols 1-3 for 19.99 at BB a while back (2 years maybe?) and finished the set with RightStuf's bountiful sale $5/disc last fall. Making the total price $40 plus tax.

I thought I did pretty well for the series (still havent seen past episode four, but I enjoyed the style). Though that set for $32 with the box is lovely.


EDIT: linkpwns, the kiosks are computers set up throughout the store... usually on the endcaps near the CD, DVD & VideoGame sections. You log on to BestBuy.com from there, and submit your order.
 
I've been wishing the Mahoromatic boxset would go on sale. It hasn't been on the website in years and they have had 1 copy sitting on the shelf for 2+ years at $80
