If you installed the UDBrain extension and want to revert back to the GM script version (.206) because:
1) UDBrain extension has conflicts with your other GM scripts (i.e. Mortal's),
2) UDBrain extension is bogging down your resources more,
3) You just plain prefer the GM script to the extension,
Follow these simple steps:
1) Uninstall UDBrain Extension via the add on window, restart when done.
2) Download the UDBrain GM script here.
How to fool the UDBrain-using zeds (requires Firefox, GM, and UDBrain .206):
Assume most if not all the zed opposition is using UDBrain in conjunction with UDBrainMap, and outnumber us 2 to 1. All we can do to stay alive is cade and run away. But for some reason, the zeds find your exact location using UDBrain. Here is a strategy to throw those pesky UDBrain zeds off your scent:
1) First thing's first,
TURN OFF UDBRAIN. Go to Tools > Greasemonkey > Manage User Scripts... and uncheck the enabled box for UDBrain. It's fine to leave UDBrainMap on.
2) Pick a destination building to run to. Preferably a low priority building such as a Museum or Motel. This will be point B. Make sure this destination is no more than 30-35 ap away.
3) Pick a building in between your starting point and end point. Preferably a high priority target such as Police station, that is 3-5 blocks away. This will be point A. This will be the decoy.
4) Run to point A, repair the building and cade up to at least VSB.
***optional: Shoot a flare at this position if you have one.
5)
TURN ON UDBRAIN. Refresh your screen using the url:
http://www.urbandead.com/map.cgi.
TURN OFF UDBRAIN
6) Use remaining ap to head to point B. If there's a zed inside, choose a nearby building. It is in your best interest to leave this building Opn/Ruined.
This should throw off any zeds scouting for survivors using UDBrain. And grant you at least a day to recharge and keep moving if necessary.
This can be done with the Extension version of UDBrain, but you will have to restart Firefox in the process, which is a hassle. The UDBrain GM script works perfectly fine.[/quote]
Sounds like a pain in the ass. Why not coordinate with other CAGs through PMs?
