hopefully he'll be there, but i seriously doubt it. he wont stay at the same place after ripping like 20 people off, unless he's a retard, but then again, he did rip 20 people off, so he isn't a retard. maybe he used a neighbors address? ask around the neighborhood..

Nothing worse then a pissed off Samoan soldier who hasn't seen his son in 6 months.

The rest of you CAG's that got scammed keep on his PD and dont for get to file with ic3.gov.

One more thing for anyone that got scammed, I have 2 PS2 games (MLB 06 and NHL 2k5) and Madden 06 for the 360. If you want them there yours free of change and on a overnight. Just PM me. Trying to get that good karma train chunggin down the right path again.[/quote]

Ugh. That guy offered me my GCN memory card for his GTA: SA. I accepted and said I'd ship first, but then this guy warned me of his BTR I didn't notice. I asked him if he could ship first, and he said yeah, but then he backed out and said he'd just go buy one from GameStop.

And then I traded that same memory card along with a bunch of other crap to DrunkPollock, ironic huh? XD

They are what you get on Gametz.com when you scam or attempt to get over on someone. Bad Trader Rating. They are sometimes resolved though. But none of mine were.

Thank God for Craigslist, I just found a PS2 Slim w/ 6 games for $60 3 blocks away from me. Now I want to just bust this little fucker. My nephew, who is a ultra-bright boy says he's got $50 for anyone who gets his stuff back, which I thought was classic. He told me he would skip Jiu Jitsu for a month to pay someone to beat this guy up. I told him Im sure there are guys on here that would do it for free and he ask for phone numbers. I love this kid which makes me hate DP even more.

That honestly REALLY sucks. Maybe you should stop shipping first, huh? :)
I've had no problems trading ever, but i can't imagine being scammed. Keep bothering the cops- they'll break eventually.
 
Cops suck nowadays. They needa be drivin' coops for starters :p

Heh, I'm just happy he didn't scam me for more. The only things I sent him that I actually cared about was a copy of Wave Race Blue Storm which I hadn't tried yet, a disc only Sonic Heroes (which I didn't care about that much), and that 59 block memory card. The other stuff was just some GameBoy Color games like Madden 2001 and some third party wireless GCN controller. I'd stop shipping first if I had enough feedback to back it up. :/

You know, it's really flawed that many people have to "bother" the cops by getting them to look into things. >_>
 
Wow guys that is awful! I really feel bad for all of you. I just recently started trading on here and I have dealt with some very honest and great people. I can't imagine what i would do if I got scammed. I actually live in AZ and let me tell ya Sierra Vista is a SMALL town on the outskirts. I haven't personally been there, but it's like a glorified Yuma more than anything else, but with less bathrooms. It's a good and bad thing I guess because they could probably catch him very quickly because it's a small town, OR they won't do a damn thing because the police force is so small. I wish i could help in some way and if I do come up with something, I will certainly let the OP and mods know. Again, really sorry this happened guys.

Google maps says those 2 addresses (the blue horizon and stardust one) are 1 minute from each other... 10 cents says this guy PLANNED out this whole scam along with someone else.

I'd feel like I scammed someone. I try very hard to be honest and hope someone gets my stuff and is 100% satisfied.

those of you who sent systems.. Call local game stores in the area and see If they were traded in. Give the serial number. If they were, they had to take an id for him to trade stuff in.. Even if he used a fake id, his image would be on security tapes..

I'll be honest, I don't think you'll get your stuff back if the guy is truly moving like someone said DrunkPollock was going to do. However, if he doesn't move, you may have a chance. If I remember correctly, Sierra Vista was close to Mexico.
 
I traded with DP awhile back, of course i had him/her send first so i guess thats why my trade went through ok. The name he/she gave me was George Novak if i remember correctly and the address

Well obviously the people that got scammed are furious and are letting it out on this thread. We dont need you to drag everyone down even more then we've already been dragged. If you got scammed I pretty sure you would be pisssed. How would you like if someone stole from your child? It made me wanna fight and everyone is letting their frustrations out in different ways. So basically fuck off if your not with us cause we dont need you telling us to shut up and adding fuel to a forest fire. Yatch!

I looked on facebook and found 5 George Novaks. Dont know how to look around on there so thats as far as I got. Anyone better with it let me know what you find out.

Do you really want to have a whole bunch of posts in this thread hoping he gets beat up? Last time there was a scammer on CAG from Arizona (Minder), the police actually read the thread. If the police read the thread and see a whole bunch of threats toward DrunkPollock, what do you think their reaction will be?

I just had to comment on that. I'm the same way mana maybe even more so I always check the dc myself to see if they got it yet or not, and ask and check up on stuff. I think I care to much, and some people don't care enough.

Do we have a rather accurate timeline at this point? When did all of these trades go down. Same day same week? How long has it been? Mine is still under what could be considered scam time. Under a month and if it was sent media these all could still be legit. We could all be jumping on the bandwagon and making it worse then what is really going on.

Ok, I'm not really kidding when I say this but if hogan doesn't get his buddy to go down there. I say we or the CAGs that live in Arizona should all go down to the PD then get the PD to go to 'its' house. I don't think they are doing their jobs until we get there in person.

I was about to recommend a thread started somewhere around the forum (or some news bulletin) asking if anyone lives near Sierra Vista, AZ to do some kind of investigation. I'd possibly be willing to give some money to the person who were to check things out (since I'm really concerned about this person being caught more than anything).
