I wonder if there is any other CAG from this Sierra Vista, AZ? I tried looking at the Regional forums West, to see if there was any mention of the city, but found nothing.

Please, if there is any CAG member who lives near Sierra Vista or in the city, please assists us by checking out the area and possibly talk to the PD in person.
 
Holy christ I'm sick to my stomach for you guys. That list of stuff is painful to read. I live about 18 hours away from this bastard or I'd be all over this. Here's hoping you guys find resolution. If there's anything anyone needs to facilitate figuring this out, send out a call for help in this thread.

I got $10 on gas money if someone needs it to get there. This is an awesome community and we gotta stick together. It's worth a 10 spot to help maintain the integrity of the trading forum. I've gotten far more than that in trading savings.

It might not mean much coming from me, since I'm pretty much an unknown casual visitor, but I still love this place for all the deals I've been able to get and this is a great community. it sucks to see it get ruined by dickheads like DP.

I feel you guys. This is why we never know what got into people's head. This guy got a perfect record and then he decided to make a stunt like this. I was his first trader and I traded with him twice. Both trades were ok. Although I usually have a rule of thumb: Regardless of who offer the trade, if I receive a trade that is too good to be true, then I usually avoid it for safety reason. Anyway, I hope you guys can get the PD to get on this guy and make him pay for his crime.
 
This disgusts me as well. I've only been trading for a month, but I'm absolutely in love with the community here. I'm proud of my feedback, but an incident like this throws it all out the window. I hope you guys aren't completely discouraged as most of the members here truly are great to work with.

I'd help but not much I can do from Ohio. A google search shows his posts here on CAG, digitpress, gametz, piratebay.org and some kind of swinger website. I'm notifying GameTZ to investigate the user of the same name as well.
 
Just to give you guys a heads up on another scammer thats out there, his name is Shawn Hinderliter from Hazleton, PA. He did the same thing DP did in building up a rep and then scamming a whole bunch of people. I must have a fucking scammer magnet on my ass cause these bitches fucking me. Sorry for the harsh words but I've been scammed 2 times in 3 weeks and its driving me nuts. I originally PM Drag about DP to see if he was getting the run around with his trade and surely enough he was bringing us all to this point. Here is some info on that other scammer I mentioned earlier:

I dont need any sympathy from you good people, but you can feel bad for my 7 year old nephew who's gamecube bundle and xbox games got scammed by this low life trash. I just talk to my brother thats overseas and he's pissed out of his mind. They ship him back in 2 weeks and he's talking about going straight to AZ to get his sons stuff back. Nothing worse then a pissed off Samoan soldier who hasn't seen his son in 6 months.

The rest of you CAG's that got scammed keep on his PD and dont for get to file with ic3.gov.

One more thing for anyone that got scammed, I have 2 PS2 games (MLB 06 and NHL 2k5) and Madden 06 for the 360. If you want them there yours free of change and on a overnight. Just PM me. Trying to get that good karma train chunggin down the right path again.

This cocksucker got Condemned 1 and 2 from me and was supposed to send out Lost Odyssey and Simpson's Game all for 360.

You know, another CAG mentioned to me (I forget who - it was through a PM - and I apologize for not being able to give proper credit) that it would be good to have a master trade list. It's a difficult concept to pull off, but would certainly be a benefit in these situations.

The whole idea is to have a thread that shows all current trades and their status. I can't even begin to think of the headache it would be to keep this thing up to date, but I can definitely see its use.

Only two CAGs had different names, and only one occurrence of that per CAG.
 
Wow, I knew something was weird when he tried to get a couple Gamecube games from me. Basically tried narrow the trade down to something that would work. Guess it was a good thing that I held off on trading.

But the one thing that kinda raised a red flag for me was that not once did he mention what games he had on my wanted list. Judging from the OP, it seems he was pulling games out of his ass with the multiple copies of games he was offering.
 
I've been to Sierra Vista before. When I went to Tombstone when I was younger (living about 1 hour away from Sierra Vista at the time), we stayed there if I remember correctly.

Called the PD in Sierra Vista and guy told me they have received multiple calls on this guy and are looking into it. I dont believe anyone but keep the calls commin fellas, there bound to get anoid and investigate this ass wipe!

This thread is a shocker to me because I've had two successful/smooth transactions with DP. He wanted to work a deal for my Steel Battalion, but we couldn't work anything out, which I guess in retrospect is a good thing. I think one reason I had successful dealings was due to my trader feedback, so DP sent first. I wish all that have been screwed the best of luck and that all items are returned. I don't understand how people can come into a good community and try and throw a monkey wrench into it.

I've sent/paid first in some cases where I didn't need to, though not everyone likes to follow that rule. I always make sure I have my bases covered in such a case.
 
this is getting ridiculous....wow....15 people....i just lost 2 360 games, people lost psp's n stuff...my sincere apologies go to all you, and i will be getting to the bottom of this, i hope everyone gets what they deserve.

I was reading the updated list, and some of those items are high priced items or alot of games. If I sent something off that, and did't get anything in return I would be beside myself. That sucks you got added to it mike m. Mike m, mana, IXI, and some others are to nice to have something like that happen.

I'm in the same boat as you. I did two successful deals with DP in the past, but in both instances, he sent or paid first due to having less feedback. It's sad to see people get burned, especially in a tight-knit trading community like CAG.

One of them, which goes back to early 2006, was selling items out of the OfficeMax store he worked, for much too cheap prices. That would be TMACDaddy being the CAG in question. With some helpful information given to me from another CAG, I figured out the store he worked at and called them. Their LP busted him, and it was supposed to go to trial. Not sure if it ever did or not. Some CAGs ended up with their money back, most didn't. He came back a few months ago under a new ID, though that was stopped quickly.

A third one, the Minder iPods incident, was a CAG named Minder selling cheap iPods, which from what we determined, were being stolen out of a warehouse. At least, I think it was a warehouse. Recently, as I see from the thread from last month, he was picked up by the cops.

Wow, it's good to know afterall that shit CAGS are still trading and having fun. I just can't understand why anyone would rip another person off on perpose, i've been ripped a few times (not cag) and know how it feels, careless bastards... But some people just don't think.

Ask your great friend if he's familiar with the area/street where the incident occurred (someone can PM you the info) and maybe that person has a local phone book of the area (or can find out who is living at that address, in case the name is fake).
