Supposedly Hayabusa can walk a bit now guys, what if he returned? I'd like to see him in the WWE. Water down his style and still book him as the best high flyer. Say that he's been through everything, etc etc. Hayabusa WWE Champ 2010.
I got a nice unicorn I'm willing to let go of for 50 Rupees, and to sweeten the deal I'll toss in an Ewok for no additional charge.

I don't know where this comes from, but it pleases me to no end.
Hayabusa will be happy if he's ever able to walk to the store to buy groceries again one day.
WWE champ, man. First they do an angle where he warns Jericho not to do that Moonsault, Jericho does it and his " career is ended". Hayabusa takes on the gimmick as " The Grim Reeper", being able to predict career ending botches. It comes to a triple threat between Orton, Kennedy and Hayabusa and WrestleMania. Hayabusa tells Kennedy to watch out for that RKO, Kennedy doesn't and takes an RKO that " breaks all of his bones". He gives Orton the Falcon Arrow for his first WWE Title win at Mania. Next Monday Night, Hayabusa reveals that he actually planned all of those career ending bumps, turns into Darkside of Hayabusa and becomes Career Killer. Comes in during Jeff Hardy's match and pushes him off the top rope as he's about to do a senton, causing him to land on his head and " break his neck". Then he adds hardcore elements into his character, saying that for years he was the butt of the WWE's joke and that now that he can wrestle again they will feel the pain that he felt. He's a madman, insane, at this point it'd be clear that he's the best heel in the business.

None of that would make sense or money, but it'd be entertaining to me and probably Vince Russo and/or Dusty Rhodes.
Just what exactly did you expect? Seriously. It's a "time bomb match." Surely you didn't expect there to be an actual bomb anywhere near anything.
I expected the placement of the explosives to make sense according to the finish ( onita on top of terry ) because I was actually looking forward to the finish ( guess that makes me a mark eyukk). They didn't. If you're going to do it, do it well enough to make some sense so I haven't have to play pretend. Would you be able to still suspend your disbelief if you saw Superman " fly " in with a visible string attached to his back? That's how this felt. That and they didn't even try to stay down from the explosives that clearly posed no danger to them, ( the danger was supposed to be the gimmick of the match). They could've worked it as an angle where they released that the explosivion was no big deal and just never used the idea again, but they lazily used the same exact idea and concept again, where instead of laying over his idol Onita lays over his rival who just carved his back in for 10 minutes, they're also in a barbed wire cage.

I had a great laugh last night as I was watching The Best of Saturday Night Main Event and realized how gay certain people looked back during my childhood but I didn't know about that back then.

Macho Man with his pink trunks, yellow boots, and those over the top capes he wear. The Hart Foundation with their bright pink outfits. Don't even let me get started on Brutus Beefcake.

The main thing I enjoyed about the DVD is the fact they show the promos cut just before the matches so to see Macho Man in his prime is a delight to hold me over until Macho Madness comes out.

So, I don't think it's been mentioned yet, but it appears that the actual reason for Kennedy's release was actually because he almost re-injured Orton's shoulder on Raw. My guess is that wellness violations, injuries, and stupid interview statements didn't hurt, but the Orton thing is what pushed it over the edge.

What that does make clear, though, is that if they released him for almost injuring Orton, either Vince has a raging mega-huge hard-on for Orton, or Vince ultimately blamed Kennedy for the injury that put Cena out for half a year. I mean, you don't release a guy for being unsafe in the ring with ONE guy, now do you?

Also, the above poster reminded me to check on the Savage DVD, which made me sad to discover that it's out NEXT week. Bah, I thought it was this week.

Ther has to be more to it that that IMO. Heck, Owen Hart nearly paralyzed Steven Austin and Dan Severn by using a botched Tombstone twice.

Yeah, that seems like a more plausible explanation after Kennedy's wrist flapping video to show he wasn't hurt. Vince absolutely can't afford to lose Randy Orton at this point, he's the top/only main event heel on Raw, and part of a big McMahon/Triple H involved storyline.
You know since I saw last year's KOTR featured on that Botchmania... just when the hell is the WWE going to do one this year?
Well, in two weeks, on June 15th, they have ANOTHER 3-hour Raw...so maybe then?

Just a heads-up, apparently Transworld Stores love getting rid of WWE DVDs. In addition to the awesome tin deal, I picked up the 3-disc Rock, Stone Cold, and HHH DVDs for $10 a piece. I don't like blurring, but for $10 I can deal.

Figured I'd throw that out there. It's funny, I went from having only the HBK DVDs to actually having a fairly sizable collection in just about a month.

.....I'm bored

and Flair was talking like the old man who wanted the kids to quit riding their bikes on his lawn

"YOU'RE A PUNK. A PUNK. PUNK PUNK PUNK!!!!"

punk.

PUNK.

PUNK. PUNK. PUNK. PUNK. PUNK. PUNK. PUNK.

Cripes.. I always thought Flair would be the one guy that retired and stay retired.
macho man? where?
I'm guessing that they showed a commercial for his upcoming DVD.
I'm guessing that they showed a commercial for his upcoming DVD.
Yes they did. It comes out next week..... in case you forgot.

Well it was better than last week's show..... not much of an accomplishment either. Then again I was playing WoW during most of RAW so that shows how effect the show in the end was.

I'm sorry but Randy Orton fucking sucks. Not in a heel way, but a I change the channel way. His promos are boring and sound exactly the same every week.

The one thing I love about Orton is how weird he moves around before/after an RKO, and right after a head punt. Tonight's punt was no exception.

Raw was super boring. I turned it off around that Carlito tag match.
Raw was super boring. I turned it off around that Carlito tag match.
I really have no idea why they still have the titles. Carlito is alright by himself, but as a tag team, they have no personality whatsoever. I was hoping WWE was going to use the unified titles to help reinvigorate the dead tag team scene, but so far that hasn't happened. What a surprise...

I miss the old days, when every title had a focus for the overall WWE product.
Macho man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I gotta download that
yea the commercial also plays on the wm25 bd.. it looks fucking awesome.

At least the "Miss Wrestlemania" title is being given a decent profile on the show, a title with such a long and memorable history should be treated with the respect it deserves.

SD had the best tag match in months in the WWE a few weeks ago between Morrison/Punk and WGTT. Of course, it was just a one-shot and most likely considered an anomaly by the powers-that-be.
Episodes of ROH TV can be bought from PSN.
Or we can watch it on youtube for free tomorrow when it's uploaded.

Did they say TNA when Jack was announcing all the new shows available on PSN?

Yeah I remember Tretton saying TNA in the list, but I immediately figured it'd be too pricy to be worth it for me.

Yes they did.

On that note.....

This should be on Botchmania any day now.

So, randomly flipped on the last bit of ECW. Yeah... I'm a bit horrified that I've now been worlds more entertained by Smackdown AND ECW than I have been by Raw. What happened to the concept of the 'flagship' show?

Christian/Kidd was pretty damn good. I sincerely hope that they don't fuck up the Hart Dynasty.

C'mon, this ain't your first rodeo. You already know what the outcome will be.

After Uverse installed our stuff this morning, I finally get HDNet. I added ROH to the DVR - for anyone who's already watching it, I've noticed there's a bunch of random listings for it. Are they typically new episodes, or are they replayed over and over?

I sincerely hope that they don't fuck up the new Four Horsemen.
I sincerely hope that they don't fuck up Hulk Hogan vs Kevin Nash on Nitro.
I sincerely hope that they don't fuck up the inVasion angle.

- Probably you from the past.

I'm pretty sure they do.

It's replayed several times throughout the week. So it's nice if you miss it you can catch it at a later time.

Ha.

Look, if we didn't all have some small modicum of hope, we wouldn't still be fans, now would we? I mean, the product is pretty awful right now, yet we still post here... cause we *hope* it'll turn around at some point.

Plus, at least the Hart Dynasty is on the C-show. If they get sent to Smackdown afterwards, they might have a reasonable run. This just goes back to my earlier post... it's not even about not being excited that people are going to Raw, now it's more of a 'oh, jesus, please don't send them to Raw' kind of thing.

(PS: I was worried that they'd fuck up Jericho's initial return. And they really did, but he got better! Hope, motherfuckers! ;) )
