Man today stinks. I woke up at 1PM because I got home at 5AM from my casino job, and then I have to go back to work at 5PM today (short day...I feel like all I do is work, work, work =P). To add some salt to my wounds, my business taxes are due today too so I have to file those in less than an hour lol. Oh well :) Such is life.

Hey Shady, thanks for asking :) I realize in hindsight I should have worked this out better with people donating and such. I apologize for that. Here is what I suggest:

Hey guys, you may or not know dv8mad, but he's one heck of a CAG. He's helped people like me get some great stuff from Japan and he's always super, super, super friendly as well.

He's had a bit of a rough financial situation with his work lately and he's selling just about all of his games and systems to help raise money. I bought some of his stuff, but don't feel I really did enough, so I'm listing some of my own items to try and help raise money for him.

Brand new system guys! Every day my items get cheaper, and cheaper. It's part of my new "Rewinding Auction" System I've come up with =) If the prices are too high for you, just wait and they get cheaper every day! I will have different categories (5 cents a day, 10 cents a day, etc.). This is just starting out so I will try to add new games every day ^_^ Keep an eye out for your favorites, but don't wait too long because they'll be gone before you know it!
 
Thanks crispydave. I'm going to add a ton of older titles that I don't have time to eBay and such. I figure it's a great way to get rid of games that people will want, and to get them at the highest people are willing to pay for them. Rather than a traditional auction, this will ensure everyone is happy. If nobody wants it, then just let the price lower itself and eventually it'll be a fair price. Simple as that. Thanks for looking! Sorry I don't have much listed. That'll change ;)
 
Well for my sakes, I hope you're right ;) but I'll be adding a TON of games here...so keep an eye out! I plan to list a couple hundred games actually.

I will be listing some of these in my eBay store as well, so if they sell out there first then I will remove them here. But many are for this CAG sale only.

LOL yeah well that's true. I hadn't thought about the fact that it will get lost in the sea of deals. It's not hard to update though. I just copy the prices into word and do a "Find/Replace" (ie: replace .99 with .94). I guess I should just make my automated PHP version and stick to that :) either that or pay people to bump this for me daily lol.

I figure if I add new titles every day and update prices every day it'll at least get bumped at least twice a day =P maybe that's not enough though. It's a work in progress!
 
Alright guys, I have taken your advice to heart. To try and get things rolling and keep the page fresh, I have added the OBO (Or Best Offer) to the end of each price, meaning people can still make offers for these items. But of course if they're too low, then I'll just continue to let the price drop daily. Sound good?

Okay, so we've had regular eBay Auctions, we've done Super Friday Sale "Name Your Own Price" sales, we've even done a dv8mad lowball auction. Now to try something completely new. Introducing Goomba's "Rewinding Auction" © System! The idea is this. I will list items that I have for sale, and every day I will lower a certain amount from them (1-10 cents for example).

This will ensure that people that really want the game can buy it at the price it's at now, or if it's too high they can simply wait around a few days until it reaches the price point they want. It also allows me to list a ton of games for sale and ensure that they will all sell, because eventually they will go down to nothing. I will try this for a few games and see how it goes. I plan to make an automated version of this on my site, but for now I will just manually do a find/replace on the list (should be easy since the ending amounts will all be uniform. Enjoy!
