Changing this to a FAQs for those that need some help getting these deals.

When I order online it shows X price for in store, but changes to Y price at checkout, what gives?
You can only do in store pickup for the clearance price if the item is available for pick up that day. If it isn't the price will be the online price instead. Sometimes the item will be shipped to that store if it is no longer at that store. It may adjust to the clearance price at pickup but it could also charge you full price for it.

Can I buy the item at one store and return / rebuy at another?
Yes but it is up to the stores discretion to allow you to get it for that stores in store price. If it is an online order, they are supposed to return it to the warehouse it came from so you will not be able to buy it back. It's YMMV on employees following this rule though.

Can I price match a Walmart clearance item at X store?
No. No store, including Walmart, PMs clearance prices. YMMV on getting PMs for these items but it is against every stores policy to do so.

I want to price match this clearance item at another Walmart, will they allow me to?
No WM (or any retailer) PMs the prices of other local stores.

BS said X of an item is in stock, but the employee said it isn't at my store, why did they lie to me?
They didn't. Sometimes items are misplaced, stolen, or the count is off. Employees are not all over the massive stock room nor do they know where every item is. Don't harass an employee or come on here saying they are keeping it for themselves. Sometimes, an item truly isn't in the store.

Why is BS always wrong?
BS is not wrong. Their information is directly from WM systems. Just like all stores, inventory and prices may be wrong for a certain store. Do not rely only on BS.

How do I find clearance items?
Go to the store and scan items, check SD, check this thread. Actually look for something you want.

Where in the store are clearance games located?

Clearance items in general can be on shelves, in dedicated clearance sections or in the stock room. For games specifically, they will be in the videogame glass cases, videogame value game isle or dedicated clearance section. It's random and depends on that stores layout / management.

What is the SKU or item number of this item?
Look it up yourself. There is a search function on this site, on BS site and you can Google the item almost 100% of the time. No one needs to spoon feed you this information and we shouldn't have 20 people asking for the same information that was already posted.

Acronyms to know.
WM = Walmart
PM = Price Match
TRU = Toysrus
BS = Brickseek
SD = Slickdeals

Those chips are 50cents near me!

I wonder if this is an error like the gatorade protein bars. brickseek lists them as 12 count MSRP $28.99, yet they are sold individually in stores, not by box. I would love to find a box of 12 for $2.46 as brickseek shows.

tbh I'm not sure they even sell the chips by the case / I've never seen 12 of them on a shelf at the same time, might be something wrong with that listing I've seen it happen before. You might be able to pull off getting an employee to price down to match if you can find 12 packs of the chips though

Not the one you were replying to, I share an extreme membership with a buddy of mine and I can tell you premium is worth it, extreme isn’t
Im just curious how it all works seeing I just basically use the site for quick checks and never went into ant depth with it.. does it auto alert you and such with the memberships /.???

yeah, I only have the regular premium, haven't tried extreme but I feel like anything past the $10 premium is just too much for what the site offers, more alerts would be nice but I just go in once or twice a dayand click them all open in a tab to check em, it's too pricy for any of the add on upgrades also

It allows you to check stores at a wider radius, what's popular and today's price drops, stuff like that.

You get a daily email with some 'hot' deals that dropped down, and can save some extra daily auto check alerts for stock/price changes. I feel like I get my ten bucks a month out of it, it's helped me nab plenty of deals I probably would've been too late to the party for otherwise ($50 xbox one elite controllers, $20 dualshocks, lots of food deals, etc). At least from groups I've checked out that post Brickseek deals on places like Facebook, most of them are being run by people who are using reselling as their source of income and they don't release user submitted deals people see until after they've already allowed their more important members to go raid the stores though. Often those groups are also ran directly by people who have their hand in the cookie jar at brickseek, so you'll see a lot of 'look what you could've gotten if you had EXTREME membership!' posts and things of that nature, but if you're actively staying on top of things yourself you can easily find good deals before places get ransacked

I still can’t figure out alerts. I plan on digging more into them tomorrow

Basically if you add an alert, brickseek will automatically re-check the local stock/price at your local stores once or twice a day and email you if either of them have changed with a breakdown of which stores did, it's useful but I've just gotten used to opening my alerts page as sort of a Favorites list instead, and just going down and middle clicking all of them to glance through them

I'm really curious what this store's backroom is like if their Quantity of switches is actually right.

Saw this once with a Best Buy when the new Apple Watch 4 launched, a store had 600 watches on hand. Not the warehouse or DC, a store.

I questioned it and the region accidentally sent all watches to one store and not the DC.

I just got Yakuza 6 for $10, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT for $5, and The Wolf Among Us (PS3) for an insane 3 cents. Asheville Walmart.

The Polk speaker system posted is for one specific walmart out of tens of thousands. It is not a national clearance.
Uh no. I see 7 stores that have it below $150 that claim to have stock, 12 at $150 that claim to have stock, and a lot at $200 or below, not sure where you're getting that statement

Truthfully just a presumption. When a member posts a giant yellow tag like that with a flat .00 price, usually it's for one specific store from my experience.

With that UPC, I checked three states and dozens of stores by various zip codes. All showed the same price, $268. There are over 5,000 walmarts in the US. If 19 stores show a price of $150 or less, that's a .004% chance of finding a store with that price, let alone in stock. Better odds playing the Powerball most likely!

By all means not to be a party pooper, it's just getting tiring for me to check various zip codes when we see these ultra deals when there's literally a 0.05% chance of finding such a deal. I just wish the one single store showing that price was mentioned when a deal like that is posted so hundreds of members aren't wasting their time searching for a needle in a haystack.

Hee, that's how I got my copy of Wolf Among Us, except it was the 360 version! Legend of Korra for 3DS and Sin and Punishment 2 were also three cents each.

Sadly, they cleaned up their clearance shelves since. I don't anticipate another deal like that at Wal-Mart, but you never know...

I found an NFL "Deluxe" table for $7 (Down from $30).  The one near me was for the Buffalo Bills so you may have a different team on the tables near you. I would search google "walmart nfl team name deluxe table " and see what pops up near you  It looks mediocre and probably can't handle a single crash landing from the Bills Mafia but the price was right

Lego unikitty minfig blindbags were also 50 cents

Kind of amazing how those 3-cent games are still floating out there. I guess it’s also how PS2 games are still sitting on the Walmart shelves — they don’t inventory their stock very well.

Nobodies holding a bow to your head to read this thread, they could be if they come get these hot deals though

I for one say thanks for the non-gaming prices. I was able to snag a Norelco 7500 for $37 and it was one of the last 2 in the Denver metro area from what I could see. I wouldn't ever drop $170 on one, but this thing is friggin sweet.
