Changing this to a FAQs for those that need some help getting these deals.

When I order online it shows X price for in store, but changes to Y price at checkout, what gives?
You can only do in store pickup for the clearance price if the item is available for pick up that day. If it isn't the price will be the online price instead. Sometimes the item will be shipped to that store if it is no longer at that store. It may adjust to the clearance price at pickup but it could also charge you full price for it.

Can I buy the item at one store and return / rebuy at another?
Yes but it is up to the stores discretion to allow you to get it for that stores in store price. If it is an online order, they are supposed to return it to the warehouse it came from so you will not be able to buy it back. It's YMMV on employees following this rule though.

Can I price match a Walmart clearance item at X store?
No. No store, including Walmart, PMs clearance prices. YMMV on getting PMs for these items but it is against every stores policy to do so.

I want to price match this clearance item at another Walmart, will they allow me to?
No WM (or any retailer) PMs the prices of other local stores.

BS said X of an item is in stock, but the employee said it isn't at my store, why did they lie to me?
They didn't. Sometimes items are misplaced, stolen, or the count is off. Employees are not all over the massive stock room nor do they know where every item is. Don't harass an employee or come on here saying they are keeping it for themselves. Sometimes, an item truly isn't in the store.

Why is BS always wrong?
BS is not wrong. Their information is directly from WM systems. Just like all stores, inventory and prices may be wrong for a certain store. Do not rely only on BS.

How do I find clearance items?
Go to the store and scan items, check SD, check this thread. Actually look for something you want.

Where in the store are clearance games located?

Clearance items in general can be on shelves, in dedicated clearance sections or in the stock room. For games specifically, they will be in the videogame glass cases, videogame value game isle or dedicated clearance section. It's random and depends on that stores layout / management.

What is the SKU or item number of this item?
Look it up yourself. There is a search function on this site, on BS site and you can Google the item almost 100% of the time. No one needs to spoon feed you this information and we shouldn't have 20 people asking for the same information that was already posted.

Acronyms to know.
WM = Walmart
PM = Price Match
TRU = Toysrus
BS = Brickseek
SD = Slickdeals

To name a few

The last part is the issue. Once an iOS is deemed obsolete, many apps will cease to run when the App Store requires a minimum update to run said apps.

so I took pics of a few walmart yellow tags on the shelves for things I wanted to look up but I cant figure out which of these numbers is the sku or upc or maybe none of them.  anybody familiar with the yellow tags on the shelves and which number is which?  just my luck they probably aren't on the tag.

You must have one hell of a beard!

I do appreciate the non gaming posts too. I wouldn't have picked up some of the sweet things I've hunted (showing my age here...) like a Shark vacuum for sub under $100 @ 70% off, or a good Vornado fan for 70% off as well.

Though, I've noticed a trend that it seems a majority of posts here are now NON gaming. While I do love hunting good deal on housewares and things, I do feel 75% (just a random estimate) of the posts here should NOT be random items. Here and there, sure... lately it's mostly non gaming deals. And that is why this whole topic exists, in the gaming deals section.

can't post gaming deals if there aren't any gaming deals to post, non gaming stuff goes marked down much more often

I get what you're saying, but game deals at Walmart can go months, sometimes several months with no action.  As long as non gaming posts aren't overriding gaming deal posts, I'm all for them.

The Mountaineer brand stuff is nice. I bought a bottle of their beard wash a while ago and it's still going strong.

I'm in the camp of having all Walmart clearance deals here. It's a huge store and gaming stuff doesn't drop at the rate of other stuff so I expect more general merchandise stuff. Keep up the awesome work folks that don't have to do this!

I suppose people could get out of hand posting absolutely absurd deals, but I've honestly found more relevant non-gaming stuff here than gaming stuff. I much prefer people keep posting this stuff here and I have to wonder if perhaps the people who don't want other deals posted have their moms buy all their necessities...

I'm gonna post my gaming deals as if they're deals on diapers and baby shampoo, now they'll miss them all!

This thread has 7000 post and if it was strictly gaming deals I barely see 1000. Walmart just doesn’t have the gaming deals like they used to. This thread would be in the basement the majority of the year with only gaming deals so I guess I don’t understand the complaining as with the non gaming deals yes it clutters the thread but it at least gives something to the table. If it was only gaming then you wouldn’t see anyone here anyways.

yeah my Walmart's used to have a nice section in the electronics department with boxes full of clearanced games, haven't seen that in a good while at this point

Mine has had the same ones for like 10 years. Hardly ever have anything new unless it’s a glitch.

The whiny children would cry that the thread isn't very active if only gaming related deals got posted. They need a snack and a juice box then stfu

This truly surprised me... randomly stopped at a walmart yesterday and saw a table set up with boxes of Xbone and PS4 games with a sprinkling of PS3 games too, all tagged $10 uptimes to $45 or so. Honestly mostly shovelware like Conan and some random titles I've never even heard of before.

This game seems to be at that price at multiple Walmarts in my area. I have to wonder if a universal price drop to $20 is coming for it soon.
That could be likely but here in Tulsa everywhere is sold out. Gamestop, Target, and most Walmart's don't have it in stock. Not sure how hard the game is to find, but $20 was my buying point!

haha, Its getting there... Haven't cut it since LAST JUNE......and even then I had a full beard going already. I guess I'm halfway to viking level now..

Long story short, I retired at the young age of under 40 last year and well jus let that thang grow. NOT RICH or anything but jus always have had that street hustla mentality so handled all my finances like a G, PAID OFF EVERYTHING in the last 2-3 years and so only debt we have now is the mortgage and only expense is our day to day living. The wife situation still works part time (2 days a week) and thats mainly to cover our living expenses and twice a year family vacations to Europe, or Asia, we are thinking Japan again(4'th time) since all 3 kiddos (3 under age 8) should now be old enough to remember it.

Anyways be smart my cheap a$$ gamers, pay OFF your smallest debt amount 1st, once that is paid off double the payment to your next smallest debt amount, rinse and repeat, your basically building a snowball that gets bigger and bigger allowing you to tackle the next debt until its all WIPED CLEAN!!! It so doable, jus keep at it!

best of luck all

P.S. NOW yall know why I been on this forum for years and years but never posted much till these last few months, I'd say 75% of my post activity is in the last 2 weeks alone! So keep the deals coming, gaming and non gaming please!!

Few new clearance games that I noticed in my last Walmart run:
:pS4: Strange Brigade $12
:XB1: Skyrim $13
:pS4: South Park: The Fractured But Whole $8

Asteroids and Centipede Arcade1up machines have dropped to $199.00 nationwide apparently.

Asteroids: https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker/?sku=828150107

Centipede: https://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker/?sku=617089098

Wave 2 should be starting to release in the coming weeks, I believe Space Invaders is a Walmart exclusive.

Be aware that you may likely run into QC issues and need replacement parts. Customer service has improved, but wait time and receiving the correct parts is a potential issue.

Got Limbo/Inside for ps4 for $15.

Knack for ps4 for $3.

The store also had Shadow of War for ps4 for $15

The store also had Fifa 17 for $10

Warhammer Verwizzen?? for ps4 for $10

Dissidia NT for $16.

The Order 1886 is $11.44 at walmart.com. The cheapest I've seen it go besides that 4th of July sale Frys had two years ago where it was $9.99
