fuck you for the reminder, Liquid. :bomb:

Sneaky, are you really a furry?
He doesn't seem like on to me, unlike Hex.
ZL doesn't either.
I loled at your trade list.

Do you really think somebody will trade you a DS lite for a regular DS?
I'm ready to trade my DS Lite for a miserable pile of secrets.

Five minute long games, for the subway ride to Akihabara, aren't my cup of urine.
I loled at your trade list.

Or $130. I didnt even notice that at first glance. You realize Darth that a DS Lite can be purchased brand new for $130. Why would someone want a used DS fatboy for $130?
Strell can get really pissy when he's on his period though.
Liquid says this like I don't know how to track him down.

Which is very good to know.
Really? So if I switch from my VGA to HDMI i'm going to say "wow, that looks so much better?"
It depends on your TV and picture supplier. For example...

The Non-DVR DVI-to-HDMI DCT-6200 Motorola Cable boxes from Comcast Mid-Atlantic display a better picture than the DVR DCT-34xx cable box by Motorola. Most people wouldn't notice the difference but I do. The DVR box has a harsher picture. It's slightly pixelated and grainy. And that's due to how the box decodes and converts the cable signal in its processing. The non-dvr box is much clearer and crisper due to better signal processing.

Then, with my TV, the Phillips 42PFL7422, it has some advanced picture options and processing options. I've noticed that component coming into my TV doesn't look as good as HDMI. Which I think is due to the fact that it can't apply some of its features to processing component. The colors seem off and it isn't as crisp. It lacks pop.

So, yes, while from a pipeline standpoint it can be reasonably argued there isn't much difference, depending on the electronics beign used and their processing of images, there can be a wild difference between sources.

Weren't we talking about Xbox 360s? How did cable boxes come into the picture? I don't even have cable. :)

Even if Strell tracked you down, all he would do was smear your facial features around with his hands.

I was giving an example. Going specifically to the 360, I haven't had one and haven't seen what the insides look like. But if it had a seperate processor added to output HDMI, then there could be a difference between HDMI and component. And there would definately be a difference between how my TV would handle component and how it would handle HDMI. So it just depends.
Sneaky, are you really a furry?
Technically, yea. I try to distance myself from most of the fandom, but shit, doesn't make it any better.

not you. it wasn't a trap.

on another tangent... capcom was said to have three big announcements at TGS (regarding the PS3, I think)... has anything been reported about these yet?

oh, and anyone with a triple and the slightest interest in MGS4... go download the gameplay demo from the PSN store. Holy fuck. fucking fuck in a fuck. The awesomeness cannot be contained. :D

Yeah, the gameplay demo is pretty kick ass.
Ah, I missed that. I'll have to convert Supaboosters pick to a Bye.

Also, I fixed your pick blue.

This is what happens when I compile picks first thing after waking up in the morning.

That's not true. There's a lot of things that can make a difference. For example, the quality of my TV picture from my cable box is radically different between component and HDMI due to the processing of the TV and the box.

It is correct that there is little difference between the transmssion of data down the pipes. But how the images are processed can make a huge difference.

I ordered it this morning with Tiimeshift and Halo 3.

The way I see it, just ordering Timeshift would have been $6 shipping. Ordering Timeshift, halo 3 and the 360 was $11 shipping. So it didn't add a whole much for shipping. And if it doesn't have the HDMI maybe I can negotiate with Meijers to get one with HDMI or at least return it for a few more bucks. And I still make out with my savings on halo 3 and Timeshift.

But in total it cost me $360 for all three. Which is pretty much the price of the system alone.

I just broke out the first disc of SCTV. SCTV was so great that it stands up well today. Better than what they do on SNL now.
Oh wait, you said to NOT do it? Whoops.
Tell us how that TV works out with that triple.
Phenomenal. Watched 300 on Blu Ray and then was playing some Stranglehold demo and Resistance and it just looked amazing. I'm running component right now, but I plan on getting some HDMI cables soon, along with component for the Wii.

Glad you like it sneaky, for the best PQ, CRT is the way to go. But, sooner or later you'll tire of the size, and then you'll switch to LCD...mark my words penguin! Mark my words!

Next time you're in walmart, check the candy section. I'm sure if your Walmart will sell fireworks (and I know they do!) then i'm sure they sell red vines.
They taste more like chapstick.
Liessssssssss.
I can eat a whole box of red vines in one sitting. Twizzlers = :puke:.

You can get them at Costco.

Fireworks are illegal in PA.

I love red vines, and the fact that they taste like chapstick.
