I have the Halo 2 Collector's Edition. I bought it used at GameStop . . . it was the same price as the original release. I actually wish I had the game in the original packaging (I like my games to look somewhat uniform lined up on the shelf).

I think the only Working Design one that was a regular and deluxe edition was Growlanser Generations.

If only most LE's in the USA were handled like the ones in Japan. Japan Limited Editions have small print runs and come packed with some really crazy items. For example, the Valkyrie Profile 2 Limited Edition that came with the valkyrie figurine. In the US it seems like every other game has an LE version that is nothing more than different packaging and an extra DVD with print runs just as large as the standard edition. Instead of doing something fun and cool for the real hardcore fans that want the game on day one, it seems like US publishers want to use it as a gimmick to make you pay an extra $10-$20 for basically the same game with lame additions.

I usually buy the CE's if there is one instead of the regular ones(Looks at Limited Edition Dark Messiah of Might and Magic and cries to self)...

I never go out of my way for a collector's edition, but when its the same price or cheaper than the original, I'll pick it up. Most of the stuff is junk you don't really need anyway. The soundtracks are nice, but thats what the internet is for...

Probably my proudest collector's edition. I also have the MYST III - Exile collector's edition.

Lots of others too, but those are my favorite.
