What's in the PS Store (5/31/16): Neon Chrome, Oxenfree, Primal, There Came an Echo, Plague Inc, & More!

That terrible looking anime was the most downloaded? :dunce:

If there was any justice it would've been the preview trailer for Mirrors Edge or Fallout 3.

I think it is great that it did well. The idea seems pretty good to me, so I'd love to see more unique and exclusive content like that offered up.

It's just for the video store, Mak, not both stores.
Wow, I thought it was going to bomb.
Just because it's number 1 doesn't mean it didn't bomb. Everything else might've bombed worse.
Many.

The newest one is really cute, about a Knight sackboy trying to rescue a Princess sackgirl.
Wonder how I missed them...I still don't know squat about the game, hopefully the trailers will help me understand why everyone is looking forward to this title.

Five new additions to the PSX classics line:

Gurirurojishiku
Dice De Chocobo
Chocobo Stallion
Arkanoid Returns
Yamasa Digi Selection (slots, I think)

This brings us to a grand total of ***TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY*** PSX Classics in the Japanese store. So, you know, if you think I'm being ungrateful or sour about the US PSN Store's offerings, there's some fucking perspective for you: TEN TIMES the number of titles available in the US.
PSN Store > View All by Title > L > LittleBigPlanet
Cool. I didn't know they were there either. I can't get enough LBP stuff. I'll have to give them a dl tonight.

Oh, but I'm sure there are really good reasons that like, make sense and stuff, and we should be grateful for the handful of titles we have 'cause Sony is so great and huge media empires like Sony just can't handle licensing issues or the vast resources it would take to release PSX games here. And all those classics they have in Japan are crap, anyway. Nobody here would want to play them. And it's so hard to release titles here. Really hard. So much work. Um.

And yeah, they can't afford to set up revenue generating streams that require virtually no maintenance. It's, like, expensive. And not that many people would want titles they've never been able to play before or have been wanting for years. Did you know they actually sold PSX games here in game stores? People don't want them anymore, so they won't be big sellers. After all, if it didn't sell well ten years ago, it's not going to sell now! Duh!

What's ten times, anyway? It's just a number. Sony loves you. Really. Look! New trailers! And Qore!

Haven't we known the release date for Eden for a couple weeks now?
I'm getting it.

Gotta try 1942, thinking about Siren.
Will bite if the Asian version just installs anyway.
No, we knew when it was coming to Japan, but not the US. They didn't even say a date at E3 last week.
On a GS interview they said at the end of July...I assumed it'd be next week. I'll have to try this one out...looks really interesting.

All they said in the GS stage demo at E3 was very soon. Either way, dallow said a couple of weeks and that's not been the case, just Japan was all we knew.

Now that you mention it you're right...I could have sworn I read somewhere end of July though...who cares, its coming out tomorrow...I'll definitely give the demo a shot.

Took a quick browse through the japanese store. Some things that caught my interest:

Street Fighter IV wallpaper
Street Fighter IV Theme

Hot Shots Golf 5 costume pack Vol. 3....and I noticed the US still hasn't gotten Vol. 1 or 2 of those costume packs yet. Is the japanese dlc compatible with the US game?

Just saw that..it's also available through the HK store if anyone has a HK account.

Been taking taxi rides with Cheapy, I see?

Man, Siren is...expensive.. I will be interested to hear how much gameplay that 80+$ gets. The demo peaked my intrest a bit, but the price turned that off fast.

Purchased Pain and High Velocity Bowling. Torn on Rocketman and the poker game. Already had PJM.

What is Sony thinking with a $22.99! purchase price for Parappa the Rapper on PSP? That is absolutely absurd.
$80+? Where'd you get that? It's $15 each for a thid of the game or $40 for the whole thing at once.
Ah my bad, I thought it was 40 for the first section and the other packs were like add on content. Thats a relief.

Disappointing that 1942 doesn't have a demo. Capcom's weird like that (Or maybe it's Sony's doing). I wouldn't recommend it either way.
Isn't Rocketmen, that dumb Capcom game also 4.99?

Myke, you have to buy PJM now.
Does that include Encore?

Also, I just bought a UMD of Parappa for $10 at TRU under a week ago. Yikes.

Strange. Rocketmen is supposed to be on sale, but I'll be damned if I can't find the game in the PS Store at all. Wasn't this released separately, outside of the demo, some time ago?

Edit: It was.

What is it typically? $10?

I admit I love the fact that PSN so frequently has sales on their items - something I've only seen on old XBLA titles nobody bought in the first place, and never on Wii.

There was a brief period where certain Rock Band songs were 0.99 each week.
