still no Hot shots costume sets.
and my soul calibur hasn't shipped from amazon yet either, even though others have already received them with the same shipping options.

Double double u tee eff.

I've really been loving the PSN store this past few Thursdays. I got the Facebreaker demo, the SC4 and Killzone themes, and ... and ... Pixel Junk Eden. :)

Well it seems that I have been the only 1 waiting for Lego Indiana Jones since it has been on xbl for a month and I don't have an xbox. Downloading it now :D

I'll wait on Eden even though I really like it. I paid full price on Monster and then they had a PSN Summer Sale w/ Monster being cheaper. Eden will have a special price sooner or later.

I think most people bought or rented the game by now, so you may be alone after all. ;)

So I bought Pixel Junk Eden but when I installed it, it went into some random folder my ps3 created to put installed demos in. Is there some other places I can put PJE so I don't accidentally delete it when I clear out the many demos I dl?

Also, I didn't really care for that Facebreakers demo which is a shame cause I love boxing games. Maybe I just didn't give it enough of a chance.
is the soul calibur dlc different from what was included in the limited edition add-on?
yes.

the store has Armor headsets alongside some armor.

the LE came with school uniforms for female and male models.

press triangle on the game, edit info, name it into whatever catagory you want and there ya go. I have mine setup as Demos, PS3, PSP, PS1

Not sure if I'll jump on Eden now or later, but I'm sure I'll pick it up regardless. Same goes for SCIV DLC. I've been holding back on Hot Shots DLC as well. Maybe I'll do 'em all in one swoop later. Need. More. Money. :p

I do need to DL Madden demo as I have the CE pre-ordered on the cheap from amazon, and I want to know what I'm getting into.

thanks!

It's basically 3D snake. The demo was released back in December or January with the purchase only available within the demo and they finally got around to releasing it separately, somewhat.

Snakeball is dumb, played the demo months ago.
However the icon music has a lot of bass. I like to play it sometimes.
Shakes the room.

I couldn't agree with you more. While I am intrigued by PJE, I'm not sure whether or not it's worth $9.99. I'd have no problem paying $4.99 and possibly even $7.99, but $9.99 is more than I'm willing to pay.

You can try doing what I've done with the games I purchase. I created a folder titled "Full Games" to keep them separate from the demos I download.

One the of things I really like about the PS3 is the organization of the games. While not as fully featured as I would like, I have different folders created for Demos, PSN Games, and PS3 Eye Software. Its nice to be able to have some control. If you really wanted to you could even make a folder just PixelJunk Games if you wanted.

In theory, I agree. I was hoping for $7.99.

In practice, I bought it on Thursday.

I really like PJE, for so many reasons. I also wouldn't hesitate to pay that much at a B&M store for something similar, so I'm not going to wait months for the sake of $2.

I also feel that I complain a lot, so when something comes around that is truly an A+ effort -- you get a lot for your $10 with PJE -- I want to support it.

Facebreaker demo stalled my ps3 2 out of 3 times. Looks pretty fun but I'd rather have soul cailber and street fighter 4.
Bought crash bandicoot 3 so I could play it on my ps3 and psp. Played the first one ages ago and this one is even better.

I saw Robin Hood: Men in Tights on there for $10, which I'd buy in a second if I had just a few bucks more on my card.

So the Madden demo was the IQ test and the Superbowl moment? I was suprised/excited to see a demo at all, but if that was it, that's pretty weak... at least give us a Superbowl matchup with 2 minute quarters like NCAA.
ne thing interesting on the JPSN
I wanna know too.
so... when will a good PS1 title release?
grumblegrumblegrumble...don't get me started.

That's all I seem to be able to do on it so I guess that's it. It is pretty weak. You don't have time to do much of anything except throw a couple passes.

I had decent hopes from the IQ test that this may be the madden I get for this generation (I bought 2004 for ps2), but then I get to the real game and only get past the first play once in 10 tries, so clearly the IQ test is not what it's cracked up to be. Also I remember more control over difficulty settings in 2004, you just had to adjust them yourself.

What plays are you running?

Your Madden IQ adjusts after every game and this demo is a very small slice of the retail game. I don't see any reason to be concerned. The D is going to be very tough this year too, so it might take longer for your IQ to adjust.

I'd wanna get you started, but started in the SCEA offices. Somebody would die.
New songs are up and ready to download in the Rock Band Store. It's nice that store does not have to wait for the rest of PSN.
Are you sure? The last time I tried it, it gave me an error and forced me to quit to the PS Store and redownload them again.

I already bought them all and they are downloading now. BYOB just finished up.

I've had nothing, but trouble with that, so I just stick to buying them in the PS Store.

Also, there's news about a theme that's coming to the PS Store today to let you put your hat in the ring for Home beta invites so Myke won't be so lonely anymore. :grouphug:
Later today, the PLAYSTATION Store will be updated with a PlayStation Home theme. By downloading the theme, users are submitting an application to join the PlayStation Home Beta test community. We will be using a variety of criteria including activity on the PLAYSTATION Network to determine eligibility for the Beta community. Existing beta testers have automatically qualified to be part of the expanded beta.

Everything's up now.
