Good info to know in case I decide to subscribe (50/50 at this point). If I do, it'll definitely be a one year experiment (15 months if they continue to offer 3 free months). Sony has to do something that "drops my jaw" before I pay for this service though.

I forgot to check if being a PSN+ subscriber means I have access to the entire Qore library, or just from whenever you start your sub....
 
is today the day they'll give us a good PS1 game? oh wait, FFIX over E3...so no good games for about 6 more months, I guess.

I hate the way they're trickling PS1 games out. This whole "starve them, then release and hype up one good game's rerelease" tactic probably doesn't increase sales dramatically versus putting out a whole bunch at once and letting the market decide what it wants.

fuck no, VC is dead as dead can be. A year ago, I never, never left the house Monday mornings without checking press.nintendo.com to see if they posted what would be coming out. I know that I forgot yesterday because I checked my Wii itself in the evening only to be kicked in the junk.

At least some more Wiiware games came out...

The only issue I have with PS Plus is now I have to scroll down one in the store to get to the new releases. Pretty trivial but still an obnoxious user experience.

I remember when I used to get excited for VC updates. :cry: It was like Christmas every Monday. I can't believe I'm already nostalgic for four years ago.
 
Aw, no sale on Megaman 10 to match XBL :(

I can't decide if I can/want to endure that game on a 360 controller but I really want it for $5.

I'm a little confused here , is this added content for PS+ subscribers this week , in addition to the content that was already made available for the month? I was under the impression that PS+ member content would only be changed at the beginning/end of the month.
 
Yes, they're spreading things out throughout the month, so PS+ people can check out anything that's added each week to the PS+ section of the store.

Enjoying this episode of Qore...the tech demos of Move are pretty damn cool (yeah I didn't get to go to E3). It's funny to watch Veronica's reactions to all the interesting things the device can do.
 
I just saw a bundle featuring Battlefield Onslaught Mode (regularly $9.99) and Battlefield 1943 ($14.99) for $19.99. How do I pass on that? ;)
 
Because they promised to patch 1943 after it came out but never did. The Voicechat has never worked correctly. Its still worth it, just a shady move on EAs part
 
So this game Shank is looking pretty cool, looks like braid but plays like metal slug on steroids. I am a little worried because EA is making it so it might not turn out to be as good as it looks. Still waiting for some ps1 classics like turismo, wipeout xl, and hercs adventure. I also hope to see pulstar or some other neo-geo greats come out soon. If you get a chance to play the last blade 1 on neo-geo don't pass it up because it's the greatest game ever made.
 
the last blade series is the shit i played both of them a few years ago. sucks that they can put up all these capcom games with mp but no neo geo games.
 
Oh i don't really keep up with all the news, i just saw the trailer and saw ea was a part of it. The game looks pretty badass though, my neighbor was wondering if it was on the xbox but he just got thrown in jail the other day for domestic violence for the second time at he 's only 21.

Wipeout XL i am waiting.
 
I love all the attention that Monkey Island has been getting lately. I just finished up Tales of... Episode 2 at the same time that LeChuck's Revenge finished downloading. Decisions, decisions...

Also, the first episode of the Queen's Blade anime is available for free on the video side of the store if anyone is interested. It looks terrible.

Motor Toon Grand Prix is about the only one worth a crap on that list. I'm interested to see how well it holds up after all these years.
 
I cant download any movies or trailers from the video store because it says that i need to do something to my broken ps3 before i can download anything on my new ps3.
Only problem is i have a flashing red light of death and can't turn it on.
Its pretty stupid.

In for the Deathspank demo. $14.99 is a lot to me, so I'll have to hold off on actually buying it unless the game is just that spectacularly good.

Will also grab all the free Trinity Universe stuff. I started playing the game...it's kind of boring and obtuse as Gust games tend to be, but when there is action, it's not that bad.

Also, lol at all that expensive NCAA Football DLC...what the hell EA jeezus...

The dumbest thing ever. You need to deactivate the content from that broken machine...of course you cannot do it.

You can call Sony and make them do it, but doing so will cause you many headaches talking to idiots along the way.

I have the same problem, but I just don't bother.
