[quote name='snowsquirrel']I don't usually buy baseball games, and haven't bought them in years. I played a few games of EA's version on 360 a year or so ago, and remembered why. But I d/l'd 'the show', can was really impressed. The graphics look great, and I loved the mechanics.... except for pitching.
I'd pick this game up if I had any friends (locally who would play it with me.) Where i live now, basesball/fastball are not very popular at all. I don't see myself playing a season by myself.
Can someone explain that crazy power metre?

I don't believe EA's ever made a baseball game for the 360, just PS2 and maybe Xbox for their last two college baseball games. It was probably the 2K baseball game if it was on the 360.
Do you mean the pitching meter? It's fairly simple once you get the hang of it. After you pick the pitch and location, you hold down the button to start the meter and if you let it fill up, the pitch will have full power behind it, and it'll go back down towards a bar. If you hit the button on the bar perfectly, the pitch will hit the location perfectly, if not, you will have let it go of the ball too early or too late and the pitch misses accordingly. If you hit the location perfectly a few times, the bar will get bigger and become easier to hit, while if you keep missing it, it'll eventually disappear and require you to get a good location consistently to get back into the right rhythm of that pitch.
