$8 for PJM when that and PJ Racers are 500 Yen in the JPN store?

Either:
1) fuck you SCEA, or
2) I was right about them paying us to take Pixel Junk Racers (and also fuck you, SCEA)

Nothing for me this week, I already downloaded the DMC4 demo from the JPN store this morning. BTW, there is also a preview video for the new Bionic Commando in the JPN store, with english voiceovers. Looks okay, but I'm not sold yet.
where's my street fighter?
Jet Moto 2 was actually listed at the ESRB longer (I've been watching). I'm thinking we are more likely to see Jet Moto 3 and Crash 3 before SFA though.

I'm still playing the demo and the one thing that always bothers me about them is still there.

It feels stiff, especially the jumping...I can get used to it, but still...it just doesn't feel right...:whistle2:k
$8 for PJM when that and PJ Racers are 500 Yen in the JPN store?.
PJM says 900 on the Japanese PS Store. I just checked (The demo removes as you download the PJM demo). PJR is 500 yen though (we get it here for $6.99).
Isn't the American dollar weak as hell right now, though?
Is that the justification you use for having so many more 360 games than PS3 games? ;)
Isn't the American dollar weak as hell right now, though?
1 U.S. dollar = 106.179656 Japanese yen

To answer your question. Yes.
Dmc4 was a good demo. The club on the other hand is really basic. Maybe online might be half way decent...
Agreed. I might've liked it more if you could invert the X axis. If the full game doesn't have that option, I'm skipping it for sure. DMC4, on the other hand, I'll be getting on day one.

You can. Check the bottom of the control screen for how to do it. I think it's select and x, or something.
Am I the only one that thought The Club was pretty good then? It's perked my interest enough to watch out to see how it gets reviewed.
I still didn't play it. :p

You must be the one, and only one lol. I though it was to basic, but maybe the final version or online is worth checking out.

I enjoyed it, but I'll have a hard time justifying buying it knowing that I could just play RE4: The Mercenaries on the Wii. I'll take wiimote controls to dual stick shooting any day. Also, I'm getting so tired of games that are bursting at the seams with testosterone and grit, so that was a strike against it.
Anyone downloaded pixel monsters/

I wanna know how it is.. if its worth buying for online co op
I downloaded this on Saturday and my wife and I can't stop playing it! It's pretty hard but very addicting. I think it's definitely worth the 8 bucks.
Anyone have any impressions of Tori-Emaki?
Its kind of a pretty screen saver, but not much more. It does remind me a bit of the art style of Okami.

Sadly, the screen saver aspect does not quite work, since once the camera stops sensing movement, it just sits there.

Got PJM. This game is fun. The much more casual than other PSN hits, such as the dual stick shooters. There is some strategy, but not enough to be stressfull. Wife and I both love it.

I like the club a lot. Played through twice. It is a decent shooter, and has that addictive feeling of doing a level over just to do it better. Like practise laps in GT. To me, the ideal way to play this game would be with a couple friends over, swapping the controller to see who can get the high score. But I can't see myself buying it, as unfortunately I play along too often... I can't see online play being as fun as local-mp, for this game, but we'll see.

Any rumours about tommorrows update?

I just checked the store and found the Conflict: Denied Ops demo to my surprise. I must've forgotten to check the store last week.

I realize they're crappy games, but I've always loved playing coop. The 2nd one is probably still one of my favorite coop games.

Ouch. I just watched an Echochrome PSP video that was available on the JPN store - it lists the MSRP for the PSP game at 3980 Yen, and a still to be determined price for the PS3. I can't see it being $20, but it would be nice if it hit that point or less. I won't buy it if it's more than $20. Please don't let it be that high.

The cheapest starting price for a PSP UMD game in the US is $19.99... I don't see how it could be any cheaper at this point just talking about that version.

I was referring to the PSN game price - I'm still uncertain if the PSP version will be available via PSN, UMD, or both. But if it's $40 for the PSP version, they'd shoot themselves in the foot if they priced the PS3/PSN version around $10 (which is what I was hoping for).

I'm still confused on what you wrote before, did you mean PSN/PS3 or PSP?

They are planning on having two versions last I remember. One is on a UMD disc for the PSP, and the other is a PSN download that you can play on your PS3.

I'll look up the video now though, sorry if I'm confusing things more.

>>> Okay, I looked and it says 3980 yen for the PSP version. And if what I read before, that is for a UMD game and not a download.

Also looks like the PS3 version might be missing some feature found in the PSP version. Only lists Solo and Canvas (level editor) under PS3. Though it does have PSN too, so that could mean leaderboards or other online features. Where as before it showed a few more modes for the PSP, Canvas, Solo, Pair, Others.
I don't think this comic will be worth it, even at the listed $2.99 price.
Seems like a Teen Titans-esque comic with movie monsters, which isn't interesting enough to get me to buy it. It's a nice idea though, especially if they can get some bigger comics.

Cryptics (at least the comics were) was written by Steve Niles who also wrote/created(?) 30 Days of Night which was recently made into a movie.

It isn't really a superhero comic like Teen Titans, at least it wasn't. I'll have to look at the trailer. But the actual printed comic was just a bunch of short stories about "movie monster kids" who are friends and live in the same 'hood. Kinda like Death Jr, how all his friends are weird and unique. Though here you don't have a true main character.

They were still fleshing things out, so maybe this as more of a solid plot line this time. The art style is cool and the colors are very vivid, at least going by what I saw printed.

I searched for an image to show off the coloring, but found THIS page. Seems to have the covers and a few pages of previews from the comics.

It is about the same you'd pay for an actual comic but I'm still interested to see how this price goes over.

That's the connection I made to Teen Titans, not that it's about superheroes.

the Lost planet demo is 10 times better than the 360 version of the game. The framerate is better, no lag, and whatnot. Just better overall. I will even go out and say the graphics are a bit richer.

also, there's a Patapon Demo in the japanese store.
