Who else plays Urban Dead?

St Pius is wide open with one zed inside. I chipped him down to 41HP after killing the other one inside... St Eutychian's is HB so I retreated there for safety.
 
I'm revived, and holed up in a factory in Shuttlebank, near the Buckrell Building.

Can anything good be found in a factory?

Nice thing, someone rebuilt the barricades after I got inside.
 
Ok I am holed up inside the libary just north of the Hospital. I tried to make a run for the Hallet building, but there was a zombie there and I was low on AP and bullets so I left.
 
meh I'm done with this, I just walked outside st eutys and let the zombies eat me. It was.. not really fun, but okay. I'm just not an MMO person.

No problem, the game's really meant to be played as more of a "one sitting a day" thing rather than a full on MMO. A spare time game, if you will. I certainly choose 360 over UD anyday, but I still like spending my 50 AP a day and work with the other CAGs in game.

Locations: Libraries; Mall bookstores; Schools; Junkyards; Barracks; Power Stations (2.9%/4.5%)
Encumbrance: 2%

Roughly 10% chance of gaining 1 XP (2 XP for Scientists). Near 100% chance to find these when searching in libraries. Small chance on each reading that it will be finished and thus discarded. Costs 1 AP to use.

Supposedly the cemetary near St. Isidore's church is one. That would be the closest.

Woot! I gained one experience! Only 74 more to go!

EDIT: I am now in the hospital. I have 3 FAK's, if anyone needs healing please let me know.

Darth, I got clawed by a zombie a sec ago so go ahead and give me a heal. Quick 5 XP for you.

I also finally managed to hit level 2. Bought Free Running which I recommend we all get as a first skill so we can start barricading the crap out of our buildings.

At least one of the 7 or so zombies outside St. Matheos' is active.

I used my last AP getting into the building, give me about an hour and I will heal ya.

Also do you get XP for healing yourself? If not someone please heal me.

You do not get XP for healing yourself. BTW, I healed you up to full health.

I was attacking a bunch of people in the St. Pius hospital, but then someone extracted my DNA then revived me, so I guess I'll be back joining you guys soon.
 
The Hallet is back in business, folks. Barricades are at VS (I think), and there's one non-CAG in there. I'm getting really low on ammo, though.

EDIT: Kicked two zombies out of St. Pius' and but up some very weak barricades. There's still one body on the ground (Suko's) and five standing zombies Vs a couple of humans. If you guys wanna know where to spend your AP, it's there. Not sure what's outside.
 
I'm stocking AP. I'm a pretty good melee-er (40% hits with fire axe), so I can ease the fighter burden somewhat.
 
Sup, $$$$as! I'm back, and headed myself towards our new area. I had to settle in the Lascelles Library, because I stocked up on some FAKs at St. Matthew's before heading out. I have 10, if anyone needs a heal.

What's the status of our surrounding buildings? I'm about 50exp away from getting Free Running. And, should I be worried about staying in here?
 
How is it at the library? I have 1 AP and waiting for one more so I can hide. The meeting place is over barricaded right now so you can't get in without Free Running.
 
The library's at VSB, and I'm the only one in here. One zombie to the W, NW, and E. Hope you don't mind the healing, suko.

EDIT: Hoh, crap. I over-AP'd! My computer clock is early by a few minutes, or something =/
 
Thanks for the heal. I used up all my med kits healing others a while ago.

Edit: There's a Zombie outside, might want to get back inside.
 
Was reading some of the stuff on the wiki, but it didn't really answer my question.

My 2 roomates have seen me playing this game and they want to start up as well. The FAQ says you can't have multiple characters working together and theres some IP detection or something.

So, we use all different computers, but are on the same router, will that be seen as having the same IP?

Also, could I use a proxy server to avoid this if it does count them as the same?
 
Alright, I'm back inside the library. A couple zombies attacked me down to 38 HP, so if anyone has FAKs and needs some EXP, I'm here.

I healed you up to 48 with my last FAK.
 
What is the library caded to? I'm getting sick of people overdoing the hospital. I can come heal there if anyone needs it.
 
aTOH: Things are pretty fucked up right now. Zombies haven't really been paying attention to the library, but they sacked the Hallet building pretty early in to this thing. We just got St. Matheos' running again, and St. Pius' isn't looking too hot right now.

Joliet: Library's at very strong, last I heard. I can understand people overbarricading St. Eutychian's - it's one of the only building around here that hasn't been raped by the zombies yet.

Last night I was too tired to update, but I was beating up some zombies when Morgan Reese joined the party. I got my first kill, which looked like this:

I also leveled up and got free running. I went to St. Pius' tonight but saw it was EHB and figured I couldn't get in so I decided to just attack the zombies outside. It wasn't until I was almost out of AP that I remembered I had free running and could have gone in anyway. Then, when I had about 3 AP, I looked at the screen and noticed I was in St. Pius' after all. So, I dumped the zombie's body that I killed outside and went back in to St. Euchy's. My second one looked just like the first one:

When we edit the Wiki, we just add another one to our zombie kill count number, right? I signed up and changed mine to 2.

I think it was decided that we were doing it more informally. Just add to the numbers yourself.
