Who will win the big ALCS rematch?

Before we start persecuting Yankee fans, you have to realize that its not like all 55,000 fans threw balls on the field. It was just a couple of bad apples, every team, city, and stadium has them. And even though, A-Rod clearly took a swipe, you can't blame for trying to get the call changed.
I think it's all in good fun (the posting) although it does take away from the game when fans throw objects. And, a superstar like A-Rod should try to set a better example than by blatantly trying to cheat.
I guess you're right if you look at it through that perspective. I was going on the perspective of an athlete. But I guess if A-Rod had gotten the call safe, you could imagine that every little leaguer is going to try it.
Let me be the first to say, good sportsmanship A-Rod, way to be a class act. Very nice Yankee fans, throwing objects onto the field....very classy as well. Ignorant SOBs.
Hey dont forget the 99 ALCS...Jose OFferman tried to pull he same shit rounding second and he was nailed out. Boston fans chucked shit on the field too...so everyone is a SOB. :)

god i sweated that last at bat tony clark beating us would have been so red sox like. the guy hit .160 when he played for us and I so could see him killing us

How about those classy Yankees fans throwing stuff on the field, after the correct call was made? They had to call in the riot police to stand down 1st and 3rd baselines...
god i sweated that last at bat tony clark beating us would have been so red sox like. the guy hit .160 when he played for us and I so could see him killing us
Watch him do something in game 7 now that you've said that, bastard

Derek Lowe the likely starter, everybody on the Redsox will probably pitch tomorrow... No word yet on the Yankees starter.

Tony Clark is not going to beat us... I was wondering why Sierra wasn't swinging, didn't he know Tony CLark was batting behind him?

Expect game 7 to be a nail biter. But if I hear anyone say the Red Sox will make history again, I'm going to lose it.
god i sweated that last at bat tony clark
I had to go take a shit, so I missed the very last pitch of that. I just couldn't hold it any longer. :( So, am I scaring anyone yet?

Alright, who will win game 7?
I say Yanks, just because they are the yankees and they won't allow the Red Sox to win, you know? It's just, never going to happen for a long time.

Tony clark came a bad bounce from beating us last night remember we were lucky his double went into the seats

I ran home from work to catch the final at bat, just got to watch it. The last time I ran home from work to catch the final at bat was Aaron Boone at the end of game 7 last year... Good sign today.

That tells you all you need to know about Yankee/Lakers/Cowboy fans

Curt you are my hero

GO fuckING SOX WOO
I seriously think I blacked out during that last pitch
What I said- "I had to go take a shit, so I missed the very last pitch of that."

^^That's alot like blacking out, right? And I'm not joking that I missed the last pitch to take the dump either.

Yeah, I was sweating too...Then I realized it was Tony"I can only hit when the bases are empty"Clark...After noticing who was at bat, I pretty much figured that the Yanks were screwed.

Hmmm...Who's gonna pitch for the Yankees tomorrow?...If it's Kevin Brown we are fucked.
Curt you are my hero
Yeah, no kidding. Did you see Curt going Roy Hobbs style with the bloody sock?

If its Kevin Brown, the Yankees sure are screwed. It'll be Brown or Vasquez.

Another report says that Wakefield will start, so its either Lowe or Wakefield. Either way, they'll probably each only go 3 or 4 innings max, probably Lowe 3 and Wakefield 4.

The first base umpire had a player in his way so he didn't see it at first. It was an obvious call though and the other umpires got it right.

It'll be a great game regardless... Both teams have no starters and no bullpen left. The two best teams in baseball just slugging it out and completely destroying each other. It'll be a great end to a great series.

The National League is like some other country right now, I don't think anyone besides Houston and St Louis care.

This is news... The Redsox medical staff actually sutured Schilling's ankle with stitches to hold those tendons on. "Tonight god did something amazing for me."

They're showing clips of Schilling's ankle... His sock is soaked in blood. What a heroic performance... Thats right up there with Pedro coming out of the bullpen in 99 against Cleveland.

What an ass. Thats all I can say. I went nuts when the first base umpire called him safe. Thank god they called him out. That was the craziest 9th inning I have ever seen in baseball.

The Sox bullpen is rested for tomorrow except for Keith Foulke. I can't stress how ballsy this team is. Curt Schilling unbelievable gutsy performance.

Can we get some ankle pics, I have a fetish, but no really where are the pics i got to see this, he can be the true IRONMAN of baseball

With so many people talking about what A-Rod did as being a bad example, I'm surprised no one's mentioned what an equally bad idea it is to play with a serious injury like Schilling did. Not that I wish any harm on Schilling, but if he ends up being out next season, the Sox have no one to blame but themselves.

LOL thats what I thought when I first saw the pic. I love the Yankees. fucking love em. Think they can get away with cheating, then get pissed when they get called for it. Wow.

I pick the Sox. If they can make history tonight, they can do it again next game.

When is game 7? I didn't catch it.

Schilling's injury can not get any worse by him playing on it. Many regular people live with the injury for months before they get treatment. Its not something you can aggrvate, or make worse, nor will it get better within a short period of time. He'll need surgery, but its nothing serious, and it can't develop into something serious. Its a painful snapping of the ankle tendons. You or me might limp around for a while thinking it would heal like a sprain.

The only thing that could hurt Schilling is if he changes his motion to compensate for his ankle, and hurts his shoulder. Some pitchers have done that with foot injuries or toe injuries, but Schilling is a smart enough guy to know his motion well enough not to change.
tomorrow on FOX at 8 pm EST
Thanks. I'm definitley watching that game. I hope the Astros finish off the Cards, then the Sox beat the Yankees, because I don't see the 'Stros beating the Sox, no offence to any 'Stros fans.

They're showing A-Hole slapping Arroyo's arm now. He clearly slaps the middle of his forearm, you can't do that. He'd have been better off just making the out, if he doesn't do that, Jeter goes to 2nd. Because he did that, he had to stay at 1st.

As much as I'd love to see a rematch of Clemens and Schilling, I'd rather have the Yankees in the World Series.

wow your in boston and you pullnig for the YANKS to go to the world series, thats weird

I wonder where all the Yankees fans are, except for dcfox. I was here after the 19-8 loss.

No wonder why he'd dare criticize one of the most heroic pitching performances in the history of baseball. Why don't you call out Kevin Brown for setting a bad example for not only pitching with a broken hand, but breaking it himself against a cement wall?
The Red Sox will win, they have so much momentum right now.
i dont want to jinx it though, yes kevin brown is retarded, what the hell he do that for?
