wii $199 at marshalls ..can you believe it ?

Not bad, too bad there aren't any in my area. Cheapest I've seen a Wii for, previous record was $230 at a pawn shop. If it were available I'd pick it up for that, if for no other reason than so I can play my Gamecube games in progressive scan (I'd rather get a new system and a $6 component cable than have to spend $60+ on a Gamecube component cable).

On a related note, my local Shopko had about 6 Wiis today, and I also saw Wiis at Gamestop and Bestbuy on tuesday.

isn`t it crazy ? especially that my local BB has a lot of Wiis left ,i could probably PM it too

wow, what a bunch of threadcrappers those assholes are!! will check tomorrow in houston, but probably ymmv to the region. who knows

Damn, I went right by Marshalls today and declared we were not going to stop there (My wife loves it but I'm can only look at clothes for so long).

I suppose I'll swing by there tomorrow if I get the chance, anyone have more specifics about the deal? Seems like it should be fairly limited...

Isn't Marshalls a 'reject' store, full of (mostly clothes that have) stuff that is wrong with them?

Its called "outlet", but yes its a surplus store so i would think its an automatic YMMV
just bought my wii this week, any chance i could price match this back to Best buy and save $50?
Print a copy of this thread and take it to customer service. Piece of cake.

Although there is some humor to be found in someone who actually would do this, I hope for the sake of CAG's rep, that people realize the above is a joke.

i still remember people saying the Wii was going to be FREE if you got 5 games at the same time.

I wonder how many people would be willing to pay 80 per game if the system was free

free system when you buy 4 games nintendo would make 120 for the system but in the long run they would make more cash

BUT then again tons of people wait for price drops on games before buying LOL

Are there 5 games worth playing on the Wii?
Are there 5 games worth playing on the Wii?
Do these comments get old?

The answer to both is a resounding yes.

I've never seen video games at Marshall's. I've seen them at TJ Max and Ross, but usually very crappy kids games. I've never seen systems though. I got my Wii for $199 at a local used cd store. There was no box, but the system was like new and I've been enjoying it ever since.

Wii Sports. There's your 5. \\:D/
Sorry. Couldn't resist.

Nice, I want a jersey. Maybe I'll go and check the place out.

The person that posted the deal on SD posted a pic of his reciept, if anyone can get in on this good job. Im checkin the one in Ann Arbor later, but im not expecting much.

My sister in law just saw this at Marshalls too, I was wondering why it is cheaper there, weird.

I think the marshall she is shopping at is somewhere near Waltham, Mass.

Called 3 stores in NJ, at the last one (Princeton), they got pissy about it, saying that they had gotten too many calls, LOL. Hey, isn't it her job to answer the phone?

Zero Wiis in central NJ.
$199, the price I think it should've been from the start.
Exactly. The only reason why it is $250 is because, they could sell it for that much because of the Xbox 360 and PS3 cost so much, and because of Wii Sports. Doesn't the Wii in Japan cost like $210 without the "game"?

The Wii sells for 25,000 Yen in Japan, the same price as the previous 3 Nintendo consoles did. In America, the Wii is $250, compared to the $200 the previous 3 Nintendo consoles were in that territory. So yes, there was essentially a $50 price hike on the system from including Wii Sports (which currently sells for $10 used at Gamestop).

I would say at least 90-95% of the clothes at Marshalls are in fine condition. Often the clothes sold at Marshalls are either
A) Overstocked clothes somewhere else that the other store had to get rid of
B) Sizes that didn't sell well originally
C) Reasons unknown

Very rarely are they sold there because they're in bad condition.
Douche:roll::roll:
How was he being a "douche"? I can't think of 5 must-have Wii games either...
what's wrong with the picture already submitted?
Wolfkin, please tell me that is your picture and you picked it up here in Atlanta. And then tell me which store, please.

Our marshalls has crappy clothes, depending on what your looking for, most of the womens clothes are like.. really bad, sweaters have holes, jeans have defects, if your buying something there you have to inspect the item before buying it carefully. They also charge around 30$ for jeans now and they are no name brand, or at least something I have never heard of, I can get jeans that don't smell like dye for much less at other stores. If you want mens skateboarding shirts and stuff like that its a good place to go because those are like 7-10$ vs 20-30 in a store like Pac Sun or Zumiez. They are good for shoes though, lots of mens sneakers for 20-25$ a pair, never found a pair of shoes with a defect. Womens shoes are usually more pricey (like 30-50$) because they carry brand names, which I do not need.
