I played it for 20 minutes when I wrote it. I haven't tried co-op, but I'm pretty sure it would be somewhat funner than adventure. The mini-games look fun, especially the light cycle-esque one. After playing the main mode some more, it's entertaining for a quick puzzle game, but still not worth it. I do like the different locations and animals though.
It's 248 give or take a few. I only have room for one more.
Yeah yeah, I was just saving my money for Dr. Mario and Toki Tori, but now I doubt those are getting released anytime soon so I'll get it next time.
That's good. You dropped the 1000 points so keep playing until you realize "THIS IS GREAT" or "THIS IS TRASH" but whatever the outcome is, let us know.
Hey guys,
First of all, I wanted to say thanks to those of you who have purchased Critter Round-Up! We really appreciate your support. I know some of you are concerned about the price-point, and while there isn't anything I can do to change that, I do think that the game is worth the money. And while I also fully agree that the experience with 2 or more players is a shit-ton of fun, there is plenty to do for single-player types.
Also, with regards to the size of the game, we were able to spend some time after the Japanese launch and further optimize the assets, so it's down to 235 blocks from the Japanese's 301 blocks. Trust me, I know how frustrating the lack of storage space on the Wii is, so we figured it was worth the time.
301 blocks?!!?
Glad a developer is here. I have a few questions.
Do you believe there is a storage problem?
If so, do you think that the lack of bigger storage will hurt you guys? (Not you, but as developers. Any developers). Meaning some people may find it more of a hassle to make room for a game, thus, never downloading it?
It's nice to see that you are understanding of our "?!!??!" over the $10 price. While making the game, did you guys ever try and convince Nintendo to allow demos? Was there any discussion about it? It's hard to drop $10 on a game that you won't know if you like it, until you buy it
