Unrelated but man the Bookmark website for Mario Maker is extremely useful. In a sense that now even a backlogged game of mine has it's own inner backlog.
 
Hey Frisky, is there any rhyme or reason to when these Nintendo Eshop sales are posted by Nintendo? Also, is there any price tracker on this site or elsewhere when it comes to digital content for consoles? I'm hoping for something similar to Cheapshark but they only cover PC content.

I'm interested in Fast Racing Neo and Affordable Space Adventures but not for the retail prices. From looking back at earlier posts, it appears Affordable Space Adventures was 25% off around Thanksgiving, and I'm sure Fast Racing Neo hasn't gone on sale yet since it just released last month. Off the top of your head, can you recall if Affordable Space Adventures has been discounted for any cheaper?

I don't think so. The closest is the Google Docs Spreadsheet linked in the OP that is a bit out of date along with this thread, which I believe contains every deal that has happened on the Wii U eShop since they started. Just do a search on a game and you should pull up every deal post it's been mentioned on, though CAG's search has had issues in the past so it might not always be perfect.

Off topic but been playing Metroid Fusion and it's a lot of fun but DAMN this game goes way too far in having you "check in" and point you to the objective.

Is Zero Mission considered better or worse?

I think it was that way because they were afraid the long time since Super Metroid would make it hard for newcomers to figure out what to do, so they went a little overboard and toned it down for Prime and Zero Mission.
 
For those who haven't heard, Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 is coming to the Wii U Virtual Console and it will include all e-Reader levels, including the unreleased-in-the-US levels.

I was just looking at my e-Reader cards for the GBA game last night and was hoping they would include the ones that I'm missing. Going to be hard to pass up picking up the game today now that I see that.

Can't wait to play this. I remember playing some of the e-reader levels but not all of them, and certainly not the Japanese only ones.

 
I spent hours figuring out what kind of paper I needed to print e-reader codes for the Japanese levels, back in the day. This version is a welcome change :D

Man, hard decision time. I really was hoping for Mario Kart 8 to go on sale, but I also want Super Mario 3D World. I only have the money for one of them right now, and only if it's on sale. So I basically have to decide if I should get SM3W when it's definitely on sale, or if I should wait to see if MK8 is on sale in Week 3.

 
The only games I don't own that I'm interested in are DKC and Freedom Planet and I'm sure the latter will get better sales later on, so I grabbed DKC.

 
If you like the old 2D Sonic games or even just Sega Genesis games in general you should check out Freedom Planet.

I already own it on Steam and I'm thinking I might get it on Wii U just to have a semi-portable version.
