There's no Cross Buy on any Virtual Console release. You would have needed to buy a 3DS in 2011 to get Metroid Fusion on there, as it's only available via the Ambassador Program. Realistically, there should be no reason that Nintendo couldn't sell GBA and DS games on the 3DS eShop.

 
Honestly, if they ever decide to release GBA games on the 3DS then they need to complete remake the emulator as the Ambassador GBA games play awful on the system.
 
 
The MK8 deal was awesome. Ended up with Pikmin 3, Windwaker, NSMBU, and MK8 for $70. It was reminiscent of the crazy deals we don't see often anymore.
 
I made money with the MK8 deal, I ended up buying around 15 copies of MK8 at Target for $35 each (a crazy PM to amazon), traded in a bunch to gamestop/best buy for $45 each, and gave away the extra free games I got to friends, family, and charities.  Good times.

You can buy a new wii u for $200-250+tax at Target today, its $249 for the doorbuster that comes with smash/splatoon digital, preloaded

That MK8 deal was great.  I got in on the K-Mart pre-order deal, between coupons and rewards points back I paid just over $20 for MK8 and got the free copy of Pikmin.

 
So I just found out that my component port of my Wii U is busted. I took it down to my cuz yesterday (we had to use component because his tv hdmi was busted. We got a new tv later at Walmart) and it wouldn't work. Tried the cable with my Wii, and it worked fine.

Im gonna send it into Nintendo later since it's still under warranty I might as well right? Just in case my Samsung HDMI craps out.

Anyway, is the warranty extended if they give me a new/not mine console, since they're been known to do that?

At this point getting the NDS flashcart with an on board GBA emulator that runs on 3DS is a better idea.

probably one of those games that will go on sale again.

I only ended up getting games like Metroid, Punch Out and a game not on sale (Renegade on 3DS). Had the cart back in the day for Renegade but never was able to beat it since the game glitched at a certain stage. Would be nice if the VC games were cross compatible (or am I missing something?).

 
Trauma Team is the most stupidly melodramatic and ridiculous plot in the series and its competition ranged from "How is this happening? She just wanted to live!", another one had the next to last boss fight be a bomb in a patient who cried "He... put a shackle around my heart!", and another final boss be "These may be my final words... No doctor can operate on himself... It's our fatal flaw... It's a test... when you're dying. I have to rely on the ones I've trained. It's the only way I can know... if I was... a good doctor."

I love love love this series to death. And even if Trauma Team cratered the difficulty to practically VN level and the writing is even more gloriously stupid, it is still an excellent game.

It's such a gonzo pick for DDL WiiU though. I didn't think anyone cared because the series ended on that game.

EDIT: Even more ridiculous, this game came out back when Nolan North was still voicing everyone. He voices a character everyone else calls "Kid."

It's as silly as it sounds. He's Nolan North he sounds older than the Doctor who is clearly Spike from Bebop.

Yeah, there's a list in the OP of what's Cross Buy, so anything else doesn't support it.

I heard of performance issues with the 3DS version around its launch, though I don't know if they updated the game to address that stuff. Other than that, it's a matter of whether you want it on the go or not.
