Might get that, have been waiting for the need for speed games to hit dotw for a while. Played asphalt 5 on ios, it's a pretty solid portable racer.

Might get geo too as well since I passed last time. Wish we could get some more rpgs for WP though. Maybe square will port some more of their ios titles over. Ff3, fft wotl, and chaos rings would be awesome to have, but probably not the price tags.

Would love for it to be Let's Golf 2. I'm also about ready for a nice big sale/price drops on a lot of games. We haven't had a multi-game sale in a long time, if I'm remembering correctly.

definitely picking it up. Had a lot of fun with the trial.

Going to pass on pool. If I get a pool game I'd rather have hustle kings for vita/ps3.
 
Pool Pro Online 3 is actually really great. The online multiplayer works sooo much better than previous games. Check out my impressions here.

Also, sorry I've been so quiet but I've been really sick since Saturday. Makes it way hard to write, lemme tell you.

Demo seemed pretty nice. Apparently the achievements are pretty damn easy and quick to get. I'll probably buy it for $3.

And ya, I had my choice between that one, Chickens Can't Fly DLC, and Tentacles DLC. I actually don't own Zombies but ill be buying it now (I hear it's very good). I really had no interest in the other 2, plus this was the only one with cheevos.

One of those submissions is mine.

That site gives away a lot of Microsoft Studio-published XBLA game codes, and every once in a while they'll give away WP codes as well. The only thing they can really give away though is DLC for games because I don't think there's any way to redeem a code for a full game.

Thanks bud. :D Ya, as far as I know they've only done 2 WP ones so far, so they're rare but they do pop up.
 
The scrolling definitely has the potential to cut into the fun factor, but I'm hoping it'll turn out alright. Guess I'm in the minority but I enjoyed Sally's Salon more than most other WP7 Live games that came out around that time period. I never got bored or felt like it was too much of the same thing because the challenge was well-tuned and the upgrade system was good too.
 
Has Zombies!!! ever been on sale? I never realized it was a digital version of the tabletop game. I want to grab it but I know as soon as I do, it will be on sale. Like everyone else, I really wish I could use MS points for the purchase.

You can check whether a game has been on sale in the third post of this thread. To answer your question though, no it hasn't gone on sale.

Fun bit of info: that game will receive a major update for Windows Phone 8. Shh.

I will pass on Sally. Anyone know why fling got a price increase, .99 to 2.99? That game is good for .99.

Interesting. Do you know if I purchase it now if I will be included in the update?
 
Depends on whether you get a new phone or not. The update will add some nice new features, and only WP8 users will be able to see it. WP7 users will just see the current version, with no notification of the update. So long-term, there's no harm in buying now. If you upgrade phones at some point, you'll get the new content. Hope that makes sense!

MasterMeatMan, I shot off an email to Miniclip about Fling. Hopefully they'll respond quickly so I can get a story up.

Not so fun bit of info: I don't have a phone upgrade coming to me until June 1, 2013 AND I'm on Sprint so who's to say there will even be a WP8 for me to upgrade to. I really want a WP8 but the cheap ass in me won't let me get one, so I'm stuck with my Arrive for almost another full year...

Wow good catch. That's really weird that they would raise the price! I hope they respond to you Paul cause I'd like to see their reason for it.
 
I am in the same situation as Tyler, have an arrive, but I think I picked mine up in April (release?), and will probably have to wait until my contract is up to jump over to Verizon for wp8.

miniclip 2 dollar increase is hopefully a mistake, but if it is not it will be the first game to get a price increase on WP live titles. Sneaky sneaky

Damn, you're right. I was planning to buy it today as DOTW too. Lately, I've been getting my DOTW on Monday or Tuesday, but looks like my procrastination this week cost me. Oh well; it will probably be on sale again or get a price drop eventually.

I still can't get Contract Killer to work on my Lumia 900. It finally loaded last time I tried, but then the controls wouldn't work at all once I finally got in-game.
 
yeah, unfortunately i waited too. meant to grab it, but i've been trying to get things in order for the new place. guess it was a sign that i shouldn't buy it yet, lol. hopefully they pop up the new dotw as fast as they took that one down.

If it's any consolation, I can't upgrade until 2014, so I'll be stuck with a Samsung Flash Focus until then. And I've already used up my 2 GB of memory...

anyone anyone else having this problem too? The past few days, I can't even get Contract Killer to load past the glu intro on my Arrive.

With both Gun Bros and Contract Killer, I recommend either playing offline or just waiting for the patch. As much as I like the core games, the loading times and crashes are not worth putting up with at all.
