-Purpose of Thread-
This thread will be used for posting limited-time availability custom video game inspired shirts (that was a mouthful). There are a lot of websites that sell video game inspired tshirts, but this thread will only be used to alert CAGs to shirts that are available for a limited time and/or at a special price.

Please post a link to whatever video game shirt you come across and include the game that inspired it (like "Mario"), the price if it isn't indicated in the website description below, and if possible a pic of the shirt (use spoiler for the pic to speed up page loading time).

Visit teemagnet.com for tracking the shirt of the day across multiple websites.

Cost: $12 (shirt of the day) or $15-18 (after that day). This includes shipping and there is no tax (unless you live in TX).
Availability: Cheaper the day it comes out but is only available in a limited quantity on the first day. Shirt remains available at $15 for as many weeks as it is popular. Afterwards it goes into the catalog for $18.

Cost: $10 + $2 shipping.
Availability: Only for a day. Sale begins at 12am EST and lasts for 24hrs or until stock runs out.

riptapparel.com
Cost: $10 + $2.95 shipping.
Availability: Only for a day, but I don't think there is a stock limit.

theyetee.com
Cost: $11 + $3.85 shipping.
Availability: Only for a day, but I don't think there is a stock limit.

6dollarshirts.com
Cost: $6. This includes shipping.
Availability: Shirt remains available after being shirt of the day, but shipping is no longer free.

onceuponatee.net
Cost: $12 + $3.69 shipping.
Availability: Collections are available for a week. They also have a limited inventory of older prints available in their vault.

-Sizing Info-

Some people like to get shirts from online stores one size larger than the shirts they normally buy (like if you usually wear medium, buy large) since they can shrink a bit after the first wash. Unfortunately it's hard to come up with a general rule as sites seem to change shirt brands at any time.

Always look at the site's sizing chart before making a purchase. It may even give you a hint if you should buy one size larger than normal. If in doubt, I go one size bigger and shrink as necessary. Imho a slightly bigger shirt looks better than wearing a slightly small one.

I am very disappointed with a shirt I ordered for my son from riptapparal.com. It arrived yesterday and looks nothing like the picture I based my order on. I sent them an email - do they do refunds or correct botched orders? Has anyone run into an issue like this before? I've ordered from them in the past and been very happy so hopefully they will correct this...

That's terrible. Compared to the image, it looks like they'd used both the wrong color shirt AND wrong color ink.

Tell me what comes of this--i'd totally ask them for a refund or a resend of a corrected shirt.

yeah, it's not even close. I sent them an email this morning with the pic attached asking for another shirt or a refund and their auto-response email came back so I know they got it. I'm hoping an actual person responds and I'll post when I hear back...
 
They just sent me an email saying they are refunding the amount I paid for the shirt ($17.95). Oh well, I'd actually like for them to reprint it but I'm not going to argue at this point. They acknowledged that it was their mistake (they told the printer the wrong colored shirt to print on) and handled it very fast. I'd still order from them again.

So then everyone who bought that got a shirt like that then. You'd think they would put it back up for sale.

I am really liking this too. But with the RIPT shirt today too, I feel like I have to choose. Gah, my wallet hurts.
 
While not the greatest site, it has a good collection of shirts and includes some that were previously on teefury, ript, etc.

The problem is, they are basically tripled the price after shipping from what I noticed. So if you REEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLYY want a shirt you missed, they may have it on there for $25 +$6 shipping...

Thanks :) Like Specialist said, it's a Clue joke--the title is "In the Library with the Wrench," which helps spell that out more, but I forgot to put it in my post!
 
This may or may not count.. but on my website (www.UnexpectedDanger.com) I sell two video game inspired shirts.

I have a Team Rocket shirt (Pokemon) and a t-shirt from No More Heroes.

They are limited in the way that I'll never make them again because I can't get the first batch to sell.

So... maybe that counts? And yes I realize I'm advertising. I could have just linked the site and not mentioned my affiliation with it, but eh.

If this is against the rules, I'll get rid of it. Until then... buy a shirt!

The adult shirt arrived and looked fine so it wasn't the entire batch. I'm disappointed that I won't get to wear it with my son - I actually don't even want the shirt in that case...
 
If anyone's interested, I've got another board game collab with Walmazan (Monopoly, to go with our previous Clue) up on Woot for voting. It's still in the fog, and with luck and lots of support, it'll be up for sale this weekend :)
