Some people ruin it for everyone.  Like person complaining on Facebook about it.  Seriously, I pack scratch ONLY to find what I need, nothing more.  If there was an adequate supply it wouldn't be so painful.  But... since people like that exists, it's just a shame...

 
Has anyone got scammed here?  I did a 1 for 1 trade for my Mike's Disc for Abu and I just got in the mail today a piece of tin foil.  

 
Nope, contact the user.  Get the info.  You can report them through CAG feedback.  Make sure you have all the conversations documented for proof.

I'm sorry to hear that but why would they go to the trouble of mailing you tinfoil? Doesn't they seem strange? Was the package damaged? Otherwise report it if you don't hear from the sender I recommend trying to trade with users with some feedback or at least a long history with CAG.

 
Actually, yes upon further inspection the letter (not bubble mailer) looks to have been cut from exactly the side just large enough for the power disc to be taken out.  The postage on the letter was paid at the Post Office... but who at the Post Office would steal a power disc?  Either the guy who mailed it to me scammed me or a Post Office employee stole it from me and took the extra effort to put a piece of tin foil inside.  The letter was thin enough to tell what was inside.... so yea I'm kinda bummed out but not really since it was an extra Mike's car i had.

 
The guy replied pretty quickly defending himself and seems genuine.  So it was indeed mail tampering by someone at the Post Office... I doubt it was some random stranger who came to my mailbox and messed with it as it never happened before.  So yea lesson of the day, don't mail power discs using a regular letter (use bubble mailers).

 
IMO that's on the person trading with you, not the post office.  No excuse in sending discs in a letter envelope.  Is he doing anything to rectify the situation?
