Not sure whether it's as bad on the desktop site, but the thread title looks really weird on mobile.
Thread title has extra spaces [than normal ones] - as intended to "separate" the 3 main sections (DotW/FREE/S&S). No problems on my old Android and an iPhone Safari simulator.

Edit: Bullets given a space to help differentiate long lists that stack on-top another when viewing vertically on mobile.

Negative space makes it easier to tell which product belongs in which section (DotW/FREE/S&S).

Speaking purely for myself, I never had a problem with the way it used to be.

Would Keflings or CastleStorm DLC be a better deal?
Probably Castlestorm.

I have all 3 Kefling DLC packs and none of them are remotely as good as the main game. "It came from outer space" is the best of the bunch in my opinion. The zombie one was complete crap. The candy one was mediocre at best.

Why is "S&S" in the title? I am pretty sure that the Sales & Specials app is not coming back. So its pretty much pointless to have it in the title.

Oh I just assummed it was for the Sales & Specials.
Yeah that is what I thought at first as well, that he was referring to the app. But OP has those specials labeled as "Sales and Specials" so that is where the confusion is coming from.

Even though the specific 'Sales & Specials' app was delisted by Microsoft, there is still an official promotion called "Sales & Specials". Just nothing this week.

I feel like some are being hard on Necro here... We should be happy someone is even doing this really...
Agreed. It's his first week running it, give it time. This is one of the biggest threads on CAG, it will evolve and get better with time. OR maybe we could throw a poll up to see what people hate about it. LOL

Did they remove the option to add Microsoft points through the dashboard? Im trying to see if I can add $10 to buy the WWE 2K14 Season pass since I only have $12 on my account but I dont see a way to do so or maybe im blind.

They should be gone. Microsoft points are gone meow unless you can get a card.

Well I am sure people know what I meant when I said Microsoft Points. I was asking if you can add money to your account from the dashboard or do I actually have to spend $20 for a card or can I buy the $10 on the marketplace?

If you try to buy the Season pass, it should ask if you want to use your account balance towards the purchase price, meaning you'll only pay the difference.

I have a bunch of msp on my account, leaning towards paying full msrp for Cod: Ghosts Games on Demand because there is nothing else that catches my eye and battlefield 4 is 30 bucks on black friday. My inner CAG is disgusted at the idea of paying msrp.

hey people were buying GTA V at full price so it doesn't really matter. Unless your getting an Xbox1, then I see no reason why not to buy it. If I were you though I would hold off until we see what xbox has in store for any black Friday and/or cyber Monday deals.

Yeah but tomorrow is ps4 launch.

So im hoping they have a special sale just because, of that ?
PS4 comes out on Friday. So nope. I Doubt any worth while deals until 12 Days just so they can build up the XBox One hype train through the holidays.

I Think consoles vary, Nintendo usually does their console launches on a Sunday. Though X1 is also doing Friday because I don't know why. Besides they are celebrating the launch of PS4 with free Iron Brigade on 360!

So all the new XBLA games start at $20 price point, when they started at $5 price point last gen. What a bunch of BS!!!  Sad part is I might actually have to pony up for all 3 of those $20 titles.  Bastards.

Unless something else we don't know about pops up then I'm saving cash again this week. I need a good arcade game to play... I currently only have a standard def tv to play on so GTA is currently getting a break in my xbox

Unless you saw something confirmed somewhere that I missed, I highly doubt all XBLA games will be $20. I highly doubt Peggle 2 would be $20.

The reason LocoCycle and whatever else is $20 is because they get an early console lifecycle markup. There's really only about 25 games to start with so there's no real competition within the ecosystem. Lots of people will pay $20 for LocoCycle now because they just want to check out something different and there's not much for them to choose.

On the Vita, normal $10-$15 games like Lumines, Dungeon Hunter Alliance, and Touch My Katamari all got $30-$40 retail releases for this same reason.

If all XBLA games were $20 the quality would have to increase on them all to meet that which I HIGHLY doubt will happen. I suspect that will be the new High price point for XBLA games and we will still see games price less.

DmC for $15 is a great deal price. I'm currently playing it and Im enjoying the game a lot. Hell, the first song into the game made it worth the price I paid for it.

Question- Anyone have any idea as to when I can possibly download Burial at Sea from the Infinite's instore? Usually dlc goes up for download around 6 am eastern, but I have no clue for dlc that needs to be downloaded from ingame.

Even if they are getting an X1, they can just update for $10.

Cheese and crackers, what's with 8.1 not allowing quotes??
you can quote if you turn on html editing and turn off bb based editing in your options.
I think it's because 8.1 sucks personally. I was using Google Chrome until the newest Microsoft update fucked that up too.

I'll probably jump on DmC at this price. Been interested in it since it's release!
I've been a big fan of DMC games since the first one. I have to say that after playing the first third or so of DmC, I won't be finishing it anytime soon. While the game isn't difficult by any stretch of the imagination, the controls are needlessly complicated. I can't begin to tell you how many times I lost a combo because of the trigger system. I'm not going bash any of the story changes, because story isn't usually the reason people buy a DMC game. I'm just not a fan of how combat was handled. Not trying to talk you out of a purchase here, just wanted to make sure that you know that it handles far differently than the previous games.

Ironically, I didn't get use to the trigger system until the second game aka the one everyone hates.

I don't like how enemies keep respawning in Devil May Cry. After a while, fighting them became a chore to me.

Yes and no. Those people were already going to buy up everything under the sun if it has achievements.

I'm not saying it's not a cool move, it will definitely build more loyalty in that group. But I gotta say that seems like it would be moving the loyalty ticker from 96% loyal to 99% loyal, which I don't see being very valuable to MS in the long run.
I think one of the theories is the hardcore gamer will tell his friends to but an Xbox One because it's awesome and you can play online with your friends. The people who play more frequently will buy more games and tell more people so the return is higher than if they just give these out to the general public.

This is true. I was a Sony fan, but my game nut friend convinced me to get the 360 so we could game together and now I have over a 100 xbox games, meanwhile I just got a PS3 recently for the few exclusives.

I have wanted DMC, and was waiting for the price of $10 via gamefly.  It sells out quickly so I may get this, but with new consoles I probably should wait.

I like the look op.  I wonder how long before x1 deals of the week?
