I can't lie, ever since yesterday I want Halolens bad. I was thinking an open world game where you are a bomb squad detective and you need to disarm the bombs.....
 
Tried the Crystal Defenders demo and thought it was fun. I actually liked it more than that tower defense game that was a GWG when the service started (the title escapes me at the moment).

Are we predicting the February Games With Gold?  I'm going with Gears of War 2 and Catherine (in time for Valentine's Day).

Oh right, I forgot about IDARB.

It took me forever, but I wasnt waiting. I started the install and switched over to watch ESPN; but it took forever for even the notification to popup that the game is ready (after partial install).

 
Picked up Riptide GP2 on the One for $5, kinda sad there's no online but it seems like it will be a fun little game to play. Was supposed to launch tomorrow so figured I'd let you guys know you can get it now if you search for it.

So has anyone tried running SR4 reelected or GooH without the disc in the system? Just curious if it works since all the disc does is launch an installer menu.

Edit: Tried it, and no dice. It asks for the disc.

Resident Evil is great. I highly recommend it if you couldn't stand the other versions because of tank controls. Have no idea how far into the game I am
Collected the 4 death masks and killed the guy that attacks
but I already want to play 2 and 3 after having almost no interest in them previously.

This is very off-topic but does anyone know how I can COMPLETELY remove Internet Explorer from my computer? The steps listed on websites, through the control panel, is not working as it keeps saying the program was unable to be removed. Help?

They scared me more than once, but I don't know if I like them. Now I just avoid killing zombies and that isn't as fun. They too scary.

Windows button > search for Control Panel. In Control panel > Add/Remove Programs, (may just be called "Programs". Look for "Installed Updates" in the left pane. Search for Internet Explorer. Right-click on Internet Explorer, and select uninstall. Follow the on-screen prompts, letting PC reboot when needed. Once you're back on, reinstall IE11.

Zombies and Crimson Heads can walk side by side and still make the game fun. Here's a trick I learned completely by accident and it helped me in future Resident Evil games (it's not really a spoiler, but I'll use the tag anyway).

Equip the shotgun and wait for any zombie to get close. Then aim upward and fire. If you time it right ... BOOM! HEAD SHOT! It's like your shotgun turned into a magnum and saves big time on ammo.

Another thing that works (and I just finished doing it in game) is equipping the knife and hitting regular zombies in rooms with stairs. Walk up stairs backwards and aim downward to attack. The zombies will try to grab you and miss since you're higher than them. I have used this trick in Resident Evil 2 and 3 as well. Easy ammo conservation.

And don't forget about the kerosene.

 
Thanks. I'll have to start bringing knife with me. Inventory management is hard. Especially with all the items there are to find. Had to look up few online to see if they were optional.
I probably would have been walking around with broken shotgun for the whole game. I got it after getting the normal shotgun and being saved, which makes the broken one useless.
 
Does anybody remember how long it took any of the Persona 4 Arena 1 DLC to go on sale? I know it took way longer on 360 than PS3. Just wonder how long I should wait before I buy the 1st game story DLC and the Margaret character DLC. Thanks in advance.

You're playing as the girl. You'll need that as the guy. If you think it's hard to keep items as the girl, the guy has two less item slots.

Also, the shotgun has a 1/3 chance of performing a headshot at close range. The handgun has a 1/11 chance at any range. It's not a guarantee of decapitation, but if you're desperate, and have ammo for it, don't neglect the handgun.

 
So that riptide game is pretty fun. Menus are a little wonky to me, but gameplay is fast and satisfying. Seems like the perfect game to play in 15-20 bursts. Anyone else enjoying it?

The knife definitely comes in handy. Sometimes I would switch over to the knife when I knocked a zombie down with a few bullets. At times the slashes are enough to kill the zombies for good. In the original Playstation games, the knife was a great weapon to use on the dogs. In REMake, the dogs are much stronger so I don't even bother.

Just remember that every item has a purpose. Using it the right way always pays off.
The broken shotgun you were suppose to switch with the working shotgun. The rack needs the weight of the gun so the walls don't crush you in the next room (think Raiders of the Lost Arc).

I tend to play as Jill more than I play as Chris. I'm just more comfortable with that mode ( yet I haven't beaten Chris' story in REmake).

I forgot about that detail with the handgun. I know you needed a special handgun in RE3 to do it which explains the feature in REmake.

I bought it yesterday, havent played it yet. It looked fun and everyone here kept saying the same so I didnt think/debate much before getting it.

Be glad you don't live in Tennessee.

I'm considering buying Madden, but $24 is a tough pill to swallow, even if it is space bucks, considering I'm not that big a fan of football games, and I don't know if I'd get any use out of MUT (had to look up what it is). Is the MUT stuff worth while?

The mut definitely adds new fun to the game and personally I think 15 plays great so it's the best football game in awhile.
 
I got it last night, but it was better than that one.

I get a message like below once every two weeks. I report and block every time and still get one from a diff account. Funny thing is, I barely ever played Fifa. I last played it in December 2013.
